OIL TANK
20170267411 · 2017-09-21 ·

An oil tank includes an outer wall with a side limitation and an interior enclosed by the outer wall. A view passage extending from the side limitation into the interior of the tank allows external visual reading of the oil fill level of the tank at or close to the tank center, where changes in the oil fill level caused by inclined positions of the tank are minimal. The view passage includes a beginning of the passage formed in the area of the side limitation that includes a first optically transparent window. An end of the passage includes a second optically transparent window. A passage wall extending between the beginning and end of the passage delimits the view passage against the interior of the tank.

Axle assembly having a dipstick assembly

An axle assembly that includes a housing assembly and a dipstick assembly. The housing assembly may at least partially define a cavity that receives a lubricant. At least a portion of the dipstick assembly may be removably mountable to the housing assembly and may include a fitting and a dipstick.

SYSTEMS FOR AXLE ARM

Systems are provided for an axle arm including a lubricant reservoir and a driveshaft. In one example, system may include a lubricant reservoir of an axle arm comprising a fill line at an edge of a driveshaft, wherein a central axis of the lubricant reservoir is misaligned with a central axis of the driveshaft.

System and method for electronic fluid measurement

An agricultural product application implement includes a system and method for indicating an amount of fluid stored. A pressure transducer installed at the sump of a fluid tank electronically measures and displays a fluid depth. Instrumentation, such as an instrument cluster unit for the implement, is programmed via software to convert the voltage output of the pressure transducer to a volume measurement displayed in the operator's line of sight. Software within the instrument cluster unit for self-calibrating accounts for varying densities of different chemical solutions. The pressure transducer is used in conjunction with a transfer medium to prevent corrosive chemical solutions from contacting the pressure transducer.

Lubrication system for marine or RV toilet
11319700 · 2022-05-03 ·

A manual lubrication system for a manual toilet flush pump on a manual toilet of the type used in boats and RV's. The lubrication system comprises a lubricant reservoir affixed in parallel to the housing of the manual toilet flush pump laterally opposite the toilet, with a movable lubricant pump head located below the operating handle of the manual toilet flush pump and having an operating axis generally parallel to the that of the manual toilet flush pump's operating handle. A positive manual shutoff normally keeps the lubricant reservoir isolated from the normal in-flow of water to and through the manual toilet flush pump except when lubricant is being manually added during a maintenance procedure.

MONITORING SYSTEM FOR PUMP WITH MECHANICAL SEAL LUBRICATION ARRANGEMENT

Systems and methods are provided for remotely monitoring liquid lubricant levels for pump equipment. A system includes a reservoir to store lubricant and a lubrication gland to expose a shaft seal of the pump equipment to the lubricant. A feed line and a return line circulate the lubricant between the reservoir and the lubrication gland. A level sensor is configured to measure a fluid level in the reservoir. The level sensor uses a communication interface to transmit fluid level data a monitoring device mounted to the pump equipment. The monitoring device is configured to compare the fluid level data against stored alert thresholds and send, to a provider network, an alert signal when the fluid level data is below an alert threshold. If the fluid level data is not below an alert threshold, the monitoring device stores the fluid level data for periodic reporting.

Fluid catchment assembly
11655938 · 2023-05-23 ·

A fluid catchment assembly for capturing fluids leaking from an internal combustion engine includes an oil pan structured to fit over a factory installed oil pan of an internal combustion engine thereby facilitating the oil pan to capture fluids that leak from the internal combustion engine. A sight glass is fluidly integrated into the oil pan thereby facilitating the sight glass to visually display a fluid level in the oil pan. A plug is insertable into the drain for closing the drain and a pair of attachments is each attached between the internal combustion engine and the oil pan. Each of the attachments releasably retains the oil pan on the internal combustion engine.

Turbine engine oil tank, method for measuring level, and computer program

The invention relates to a tank (32) for liquid, in particular of a turbine engine such as an aircraft turbojet engine, the tank comprising an external wall (36) with an inner surface (48); an inner chamber intended for containing the liquid of the tank (32) and defined by the inner surface of the external wall; and a system (42) for measuring the level of liquid. The system comprises: a submersible portion matching the inner surface of the wall (36); a clearance (52) separating the submersible portion from the inner surface; and a liquid detector (54) configured to emit a signal towards the submersible portion through the clearance, said signal being configured to be modified in the event that liquid is present in the clearance (52). The invention likewise relates to a method for measuring a level of liquid, and an associated computer program.

VENTING CAP WITH SPLASH GUARD
20220243624 · 2022-08-04 ·

The application relates to a venting cap for oil tanks of machines and machinery, including: a cup fitted with a flange along its outer surface, with this flange bearing coupling elements underneath it with complementary elements provided on the access sleeve of the tanks and at the top of shaped engagement tabs, a lid for closing the cup that is snap-fitted onto the cup, fitted with a flange, wherein: the flanged partition houses on its lower surface an insert with a substantially cylindrical profile, the cup body is associated with a spiral labyrinth on top of which is fitted the means for engaging the cup; and above the flange of the cup there is a collar fitted with an external toroidal groove that engages with a raised toroidal thread along the inner surface of an upper closing lid of the cup.
