Drive unit for a hybrid vehicle

A drive unit for a hybrid vehicle that enables downsizing and cost reduction of an oil supply mechanism to be achieved. The drive unit includes: a first feeding line for supplying a first motor and a differential mechanism with oil discharged from a first oil pump; and a second feeding line for supplying a second motor with oil discharged from a second oil pump, the oil being supplied via an oil cooler that cools the oil. A passage between from the second oil pump to the second motor in the second feeding line and a passage between from the first oil pump to the first motor and the differential mechanism in the first feeding line, are independent of each other.

Lubrication unit management system

A system for remotely controlling and documenting valve lubrication. The system includes an operator unit programmed to communicate with a remote controller unit that actuates the transfer of lubricant to user-selected valves.

METHOD FOR STARTING AN AIRCRAFT ENGINE

A method for starting an aircraft engine in which the engine is coupled to a lubrication circuit including an oil pump system, the lubrication circuit being constructed and arranged to circulate oil in the engine, and in which an operating mode of the engine includes a stop mode and a standby mode, the starting method including, during a starting phase, measuring an oil temperature, the measurement being performed by a temperature detection device; depending on the temperature measured, compared to a threshold temperature, and depending on the operating mode of the engine, select a starting oil flow profile to be applied in said engine, the selection being performed by a calculator, and applying the selected starting oil flow profile by the oil pump system, the oil pump system being controlled by the calculator.

Shared oil system arrangement for an engine component and a generator

A method of distributing oil to a component within a gas turbine engine includes directing a first oil flow from an oil source to an engine component and back to the oil source, directing a second oil flow from the oil source to a generator driven by the engine and back to the oil source, monitoring a parameter of the second oil flow downstream of the generator and upstream of the oil source, detecting a contaminant in the second oil flow based on the parameter, and reducing the second oil flow to the generator when the contaminant is detected without reducing the first oil flow to the engine component. A shared oil system for a component of a gas turbine engine and a generator driven by the gas turbine engine is also discussed.

SYSTEM FOR LUBRICATING CABLES OR THE LIKE

A lubricating system has a pump to force a viscous lubricant from a supply of lubricant to a lubricator at which the lubricant is to be dispensed onto a cable, wire, or the like that is being pulled through a conduit. A sensor, associated with a spool from which the cable is being dispensed, is be used to automatically control the amount of lubricant that is to be dispensed onto the cable. A second described system comprises a custom bucket or bucket insert which allow a cable to pass through the bucket whereupon lubricant will be automatically applied to the cable and the container includes a profiled base to ensure proper passage of the cable through the lubricant and ensure the maximum usage of any lubricant.

LUBRICANT SYSTEM

A lubricant system for supplying lubrication to a component in a turbine engine includes a lubricant reservoir, a supply line fluidly coupling the lubricant reservoir to the component in the turbine engine, a scavenge line fluidly coupling the component to the lubricant reservoir, and a bypass line fluidly coupling the supply line to the scavenge line and bypassing the component.

Automatic lubricator for lubricating an object

An automatic lubricator for lubricating an object is provided. The lubricator includes a housing with a coupling section configured to couple with a lubricant container containing a lubricant, wherein the lubricant container comprises a rotatable shaft with a piston to dispense the lubricant from an output of the lubricant container. The lubricator further comprises an electric motor configured to drive the rotatable shaft of the lubricant container, such that at least a part of the lubricant is dispensable from the lubricant container, at least one sensor configured to provide a sensor signal indicative of at least one of a force exerted by the electric motor onto the rotatable shaft and a force exerted by the lubricant onto the container, and a control circuitry configured to determine a blockage of the output of the lubricant container based on the sensor signal of the at least one sensor.

Rail road track lubrication apparatus and method
11794794 · 2023-10-24 · ·

An apparatus and system for applying lubricant to a rail road track having a control module, a housing, a lubricant distribution block, and a plurality of tubes for connecting the control module to the housing wherein the housing houses the lubricant distribution block. The control module is positionable in close proximity to the rail road track and the housing is positionable adjacent to and along a section of rail road track to be lubricated. The lubricant is stored in a vessel in the control module and pumped from the control module to a lubricant distribution nozzle connected to the housing and wherein sliding the lubricant distribution nozzle along the section of rail road track in a first direction distributes lubricant along the section of rail road track and then the block returns to a first position.

LUBRICATION UNIT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
