20210003251 · 2021-01-07 · ·

A nozzle-type steam trap including a venturi nozzle, an orifice nozzle, or a tunnel structure resistance nozzle minimizes the outflow of steam even when a pressure difference between a drain-water inlet and a drain-water outlet of each nozzle fluctuates, the steam trap being compatible with any usage environments and enabling maintenance and inspection to be easily performed. The nozzle-type steam trap including the venturi nozzle, the orifice nozzle, or the tunnel structure resistance nozzle includes a means for sealing the nozzle by using a drain water. The nozzle-type steam trap further includes a plurality of steam inflow ports and drain-water outflow ports and includes a closure means for determining, for a selected one of the steam inflow ports and a selected one of the drain-water outflow ports, passages of steam and drain water. More preferably, the steam trap includes a swirl flow formation means in the vicinity of the nozzle.

Provided are a condensate drain apparatus highly adaptable to an increase and decrease in drain discharge rate while preventing clogging of orifice hole, and a condensate discharge method. A condensate drain apparatus 1 includes orifice units each having an orifice and a decompression chamber provided downstream of the orifice arranged in series and in multiple stages. Each orifice unit 10U includes an orifice plate 12P with an orifice hole 11h having a diameter of 1 mm or more and formed in a thin plate shape, and a decompression plate 14P having a thickness the same as the orifice plate 12P and having the decompression chamber 14S formed therein. The orifice holes 11h adjacent in an axial direction are formed and arranged shifted in a radial direction from each other.

FREEZE PROTECTED CONDENSATE SYSTEM

A condensate trap for a furnace system includes a trap inlet configured to receive combusted gases, a condensate chamber coupled to the trap inlet and configured to trap condensate, a trap outlet coupled to the condensate chamber and configured to exhaust the combusted gases, a header box inlet configured to receive condensate from a header box, and a condensate outlet configured to drain condensate from the condensate chamber. Combusted gas that passes through the condensate trap provides heat to condensate within the condensate trap to thaw frozen condensate or to prevent condensate from freezing.

Water Separator For A Fuel Cell System

A water separator for a fuel cell system includes a closed housing with a gas connection, and a base plate arranged remotely from the gas connection and having a drainage outlet, an inside width of the housing at least in portions decreasing from the base plate towards the gas connection, and the height of the housing being less than the greatest inside width of the housing.

Steam Valve for Cooking Utensil and Cooking Utensil

A steam valve for a cooking utensil and the cooking utensil are provided. The steam valve includes a valve base, a bonnet and a barrier member. The bonnet and the valve base form a mounting chamber. The valve base has a steam inlet, and at least one of the valve base and the bonnet has a steam outlet. The barrier member is mounted in the mounting chamber, the barrier member and a top wall of the bonnet define a first passage therebetween, steam flows from the steam inlet via the first passage to the steam outlet, and a bottom wall of the valve base corresponding to the barrier member is disposed obliquely such that liquid flows back to the steam inlet.

A heat exchanger system includes a heat exchange main unit having a gas channel and a fluid channel configured such that a fluid in the fluid channel can exchange heat with a flue gas in the gas channel, a housing, a drain collecting part arranged to collect condensate from the flue gas, and a siphon attached to the drain collecting part to prevent release of the flue gas from a condensate outlet. The siphon has a tubular body, first portion having a condensate inlet, and second portion having the condensate outlet and an operation member. When the tubular body is attached to the drain collecting part, the first portion is connected to the drain collecting part, the first and second portions can be at least partially located inside and outside the housing, and the operation member can be located outside the housing. The first and second portions are detachably attached.

Steam trap

A steam trap includes a body having a flow passageway therethrough between an inlet connectable to a steam pipeline and an outlet connectable to a condensate drain line. The flow passageway has a first flow restriction defined by a first venturi orifice to pass condensate therethrough while restricting the flow of live steam, and a second flow restriction, downstream of the first flow restriction. The second flow restriction is adapted to allow condensate flow therethrough while restricting the flow of flash steam.
