BUNKERING VESSEL
A bunkering vessel according to the present invention is for loading a liquefied gas to and unloading a liquefied gas from a liquefied gas storage tank of a target, and it includes a bunkering tank storing a liquefied gas; a manifold provided at a bunkering station of the bunkering vessel to flow in a liquefied gas to and flow out a liquefied gas from the bunkering vessel; a liquefied gas transfer line connecting the bunkering tank and the manifold to flow a liquefied gas; and a dry gas supply portion producing a dry gas, and the dry gas supply portion supplies a dry gas to the liquefied gas storage tank through the manifold before loading a liquefied gas to the liquefied gas storage tank to remove moisture inside the liquefied gas storage tank.
A SYSTEM FOR PRESSURIZED GAS STORAGE AND/OR TRANSFER
A gas storage system is provided comprising a surface facility for gas production, and a storage vessel for storing pressurised gas from the surface facility, the gas being transferred from the storage vessel to the surface facility and/or a carrier vessel without substantial change in pressure, wherein the transfer is substantially driven by liquid displacement or elastomeric force.
A FUEL TANK ARRANGEMENT OF A MARINE VESSEL AND METHOD OF OPERATING A TANK CONTAINER OF A MARINE VESSEL
A fuel tank arrangement in a marine vessel has a tank container, a first fuel line having a first fuel line port opening into the tank container so as to provide a flow path exclusively for a first fuel, a second fuel line having a second fuel line port opening into the tank container so as to provide a flow path exclusively for a second fuel. The first fuel line port and/or the second fuel line port is provided with a closing means so as to close the flow path from the tank container into the fuel line.
CORNER PANEL FOR ULTRA-LOW TEMPERATURE FLUID STORAGE TANK, AND ULTRA-LOW TEMPERATURE FLUID THERMAL INSULATION SYSTEM HAVING SAME
A corner panel for an ultra-low temperature fluid storage tank is disclosed. The corner panel for an ultra-low temperature fluid storage tank comprises: a panel main body installed on the corner of the storage tank and having an L-shape; an anchor strip fixed on the panel main body; and a steel corner fixed on the anchor strip and installed on the corner of the panel main body, and fixed by welding a membrane of a metal material.
Arrangement for connecting a pipe to a LNG tank
A connection having at least one double-walled pipe of stainless steel connected to an LNG tank is disclosed, the LNG tank having an inner shell of stainless steel and an outer shell spaced at a distance from the inner shell, the inner and outer shells defining an isolation space therebetween. The at least one double-walled pipe includes a common outer wall and at least one inner pipe. The outer wall of the pipe is connected to the inner shell of the tank in such a way that the outer wall and/or a pipe fitting of cold resistant material between the inner shell and the outer wall is arranged to compensate for changes in the length of the outer wall of the pipe and/or of the pipe fitting due to temperature differences between the outer wall of the pipe and the inner shell of the tank.
SHIP FOR GAS STORAGE AND TRANSPORT
A ship for transporting cargo gas, such as natural gas, includes a ship structure and a middle transverse bulkhead constructed by gas storage containers. Each gas storage container includes an enclosure and a pipe coil within the enclosure that contains the cargo gas and it is the enclosures of the gas storage containers that are integrated into the ship structure to form the middle transverse bulk head.
Transport of natural gas through solution in liquid hydrocarbon at ambient temperature
A method of transporting natural gas by liquefaction of natural gas at ambient temperature, achieved by mixing the natural gas at high pressure with a hydrocarbon that is a stable liquid at ambient temperature and ambient pressure. The hydrocarbon liquid may be crude oil or a distillate of crude oil. The method includes: liquefaction: mixing the natural gas with the hydrocarbon liquid at an ambient temperature and a high pressure to generate a liquid mixture, which contains the natural gas dissolved in the hydrocarbon liquid; shipping: transporting the liquid mixture using a marine tanker, during which the liquid mixture is maintained at ambient temperature and the high pressure; and regasification: at the destination, releasing a gas from the liquid mixture by lowering the pressure of the liquid mixture. The hydrocarbon liquid may be used multiple times.
Sensor mounting system
A sensor mounting assembly is configured for use with a vessel arrangement including at least four vessels. The assembly includes first and second elongated frame members, first and second rollers, and first and second sensors. The first sensor is attached to the first elongated frame member and is configured to contact the surface of the first vessel upon actuation in a first direction. The second sensor is attached to the second elongated frame member and is configured to contact the surface of the second vessel upon actuation in a second direction that is substantially orthogonal to the first direction. This disclosure also describes a method of mounting at least six sensors for use with a vessel arrangement including at least four vessels, the vessel arrangement disposed in a container in a two-by-two stacked configuration having a central space.
Bunkering marine vessel
A bunkering marine vessel has an elongated, multi-deck accommodation structure extending along a portion of the length of one hull side and spaced apart from a centerline extending from bow to stern. Positioned within the vessel hull is at least one LNG pressure vessel filling at least 50% of the hull volume and extending from adjacent a lowermost deck to adjacent the main deck. At least one marine gasoil tank is positioned along an opposing hull side to counter the weight of the accommodation structure, The bow and stern ends of the vessel are substantially the same in shape, and each end includes a marine propulsion system.
