Enhanced methods for operating refueling station tube-trailers to reduce refueling cost
A method and apparatus are provided for operating a refueling station including source tube-trailers and at least one compressor to reduce refueling cost. The refueling station includes a gaseous fuel supply source including a plurality of tanks on a tube trailer coupled to a first control unit, and high pressure buffer storage having predefined capacity coupled to a second control unit and the first tanks by a pressure control valve and the first control unit, and at least one compressor. The refueling station is operated at different modes depending on a state of the refueling station at the beginning of each operational mode. The refueling system is assessed at the end of each operational mode to identify the state of the system and select a next mode of operation. The operational modes include consolidating hydrogen, or any gaseous fuel, within the tubes mounted on the trailer.

LNG delivery system with saturated fuel reserve
A cryogenic fluid delivery system includes a main tank system with a main tank adapted to contain a first supply of cryogenic liquid, and reserve tank system with reserve tank adapted to contain a second supply of cryogenic liquid. A pressure building circuit is adapted to delivery vapor to the head space of the main tank to build pressure in the main tank and a fuel delivery line supplies cryogenic fuel from either the main tank or the reserve tank to a use device. The reserve tank stores saturated cryogenic fuel that is delivered to the use device via the fuel delivery line while the cryogenic liquid in the main tank is being saturated. The fluid delivery system automatically switches to delivering cryogenic fuel from the main tank to the use device via the fuel delivery line upon saturation of the cryogenic liquid in the main tank.
Natural gas home fast fill refueling station
A home-based, low-cost, self-contained, fast-fill natural gas refueling station for providing compress natural gas (CNG) fuel for motor vehicles. The station compresses utility supplied natural gas and stores the CNG in a CNG storage facility located inside the station. In preferred embodiments the refueling station is located adjacent to a driveway at a home. The compressor preferably is a multi-stage gas compressor having at least three stages of compression. Applicant estimates that savings based today prices for CNG as compared to gasoline, a typical family with only one car could pay for the station in three years. If the family has several cars the station could pay for itself much earlier.
Method and system for storage and transport of liquefied petroleum gases
A method for storage and transport of LPG on LPG carriers, in particular two cargoes of different LPG types on same shipment, having reliquefaction units in which vaporized gases are condensed and then returned into at least one cargo tank for the respective LPG cargo type. The method is further comprising: using the reliquefaction units, at a minimum one running, as to condense vapour from the first cargo type; passing the condensed vapour through a heat exchanger; simultaneously flowing vapour from the second cargo type through the heat exchanger as to condense vapour by means of heat exchanging with the condensed vapour; and returning the condensed vapours leaving the heat exchanger back into the respective cargo types. The present invention is also disclosing a system for storage and transport of LPG on LPG carriers.
TANK FOR A SPACECRAFT ENGINE
Cryogenic propellant tank (1) for a spacecraft engine, comprising an external enclosure (10) defining an internal volume, characterized in that the internal volume of the tank comprises a primary volume (V1) and a secondary volume (V2) connected to the primary volume (V1) via a valve (20) configured to selectively allow a passage of fluid from the primary volume (V1) to the secondary volume (V2), or to isolate the secondary volume (V2) from the primary volume (V1), the primary volume (V1) having a primary orifice (11) adapted to be connected to a first pressurization source (41), the secondary volume (V2) having a supply orifice (4) adapted to be connected to a supply line of a spacecraft engine (30), and a secondary orifice (12) adapted to be connected to a second pressurization source (42).
Cryogenic Fluid Dispensing System and Method
A system for dispensing a cryogenic fluid includes a bulk tank configured to contain a supply of a cryogenic liquid, a first sump and a first liquid feed valve configured to direct liquid from the bulk tank to the first sump when in an open condition and to prevent transfer of liquid from the bulk tank to the first sump when in a closed condition. A first positive displacement pump is positioned within the first sump and configured to pump and be submerged in cryogenic liquid when the first sump contains cryogenic liquid above a predetermined liquid level within the first sump. A delivery line is in fluid communication with an outlet of the first positive displacement pump and is configured to direct cryogenic fluid from the first positive displacement pump to a use device when the first positive displacement pump is activated.

Station and method for refilling pressurized gas tanks
A station and method for refilling a tank or tanks with pressurized gas in which liquefied gas is vaporized in a vaporizer. One portion of the vaporized gas is compressed to produce a compressed gas. Another portion of the vaporized gas is not compressed but instead is fed to a heat exchanger where it is used to cool the compressed gas. The thus-warmed gas is reinjected into a filling line that feeds the liquefied gas to the vaporizer.
