The station also includes a second connector for fluidly connecting the source of the second fluid with a storage tank of the vessel for loading the second fluid. The station further includes a first thermal linkage between the first fluid being unloaded and the second fluid being loaded that facilitates heat transfer between the first fluid and the second fluid at the loading and unloading station.

The invention relates to a method for providing pressurized gas from a source of liquefied gas to a consumer (8), wherein vaporized gas is supplied from the source of liquefied gas (1) through a main input line (2) to a compressor arrangement (300) for pressurizing the vaporized gas, the compressor arrangement (300) comprising a plurality of compressor modules (3, 5, 31, 51), each compressor module being able to operate independently from any other compressor module of the compressor arrangement (300), one or more of the compressor modules (5, 51) of the compressor arrangement (300) can be bypassed, and wherein gas is conducted through only a part or all of the compressor modules depending on at least one of pressure level, temperature level, mass flow and composition of the gas to be provided to the consumer (8).

The invention relates to an indoor safety device for a liquefied fuel gas system, the system comprising a storage device storing liquefied fuel gas; a vent member arranged in fluid communication with the gas inside the storage device; and a safety valve arranged to evacuate gas when the pressure inside the storage device exceeds a predetermined first value, the safety device comprising: a vent coupling; a pressure relief valve arranged downstream of the vent coupling; and a conduit for conveying gas, adapted to be connected to the pressure relief valve, the safety device being removably connected to the system by connecting the vent coupling to the vent member, wherein the pressure relief valve is configured to release gas when the pressure inside the storage device exceeds a predetermined second value, lower than the first value.

A method and system for determining a momentary boil-off rate for a storage tank for a natural gas in liquid phase and gas phase. A mass flow from the gas phase of the natural gas at an discharge pipeline of the storage tank and a mass flow into the liquid phase of the natural gas at an loading/discharge pipeline of the storage tank is determined. A volume, a temperature and a pressure of the gas phase of the natural gas is measured. A dynamical model is applied to the determined values to determine the momentary boil-off rate.

A ship includes: a boil-off gas heat exchanger installed on a downstream of a storage tank and heat-exchanges a compressed boil-off gas (a first fluid) by a boil-off gas discharged from the storage tank as a refrigerant, to cool the boil-off gas; a compressor installed on a downstream of the boil-off gas heat exchanger and compresses a part of the boil-off gas discharged from the storage tank; an extra compressor installed on a downstream of the boil-off gas heat exchanger and in parallel with the compressor and compresses the other part of the boil-off gas discharged from the storage tank; a refrigerant heat exchanger which additionally cools the first fluid which is cooled by the boil-off gas heat exchanger; and a refrigerant decompressing device which expands a second fluid, which is sent to the refrigerant heat exchanger, and then sends the second fluid back to the refrigerant heat exchanger.
