A method for providing a fuel includes removing hydrogen sulfide and/or carbon dioxide from biogas to provide partially purified biogas, which is filled in a mobile storage system. The partially purified biogas is transported to a centralized processing facility, in the mobile storage system, by truck, rail, or ship. At the centralized processing the partially purified biogas is further processed, either to produce a fuel that is renewable or has renewable content, or to produce renewable natural gas, which is used to produce the fuel that is renewable or has renewable content.

PRESSURE VESSEL FOR HYDROGEN AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SAME

The present invention provides a pressure vessel for hydrogen in which the development of cracking in the pressure vessel for hydrogen can be effectively inhibited and that is excellent in terms of safety, reliability, and durability. The present invention pertains to a pressure vessel for hydrogen in which a plastic region is present on the inner face side of a hydrogen pressure vessel main body, an elastic region is present on the outer face side, and compressive residual stress is generated on the inner face, wherein preferably: the equivalent plastic strain remaining on the inner surface of the hydrogen pressure vessel main body is 1% or below; the plastic region on the inner face side measures 50% or less of the wall thickness in the radial direction of the hydrogen pressure vessel main body; and the steel used has a tensile strength of at least 725 MPa.

Interdigitated back contact metal-insulator-semiconductor solar cell with printed oxide tunnel junctions

Screen-printable metallization pastes for forming thin oxide tunnel junctions on the back-side surface of solar cells are disclosed. Interdigitated metal contacts can be deposited on the oxide tunnel junctions to provide all-back metal contact to a solar cell.

Explosion containment and redirection system

The present invention provides a system configured to contain and redirect any explosion caused by the combustible gas as a safety precaution. This is accomplished through a cover, a floor plate, and one or a plurality of tanks adapted to retain high pressure combustible gas. The cover and floor plate will create an extremely rigid and temperature-resistant enclosure, while the tanks are positioned inside said enclosure. These components work in conjunction to provide a lightweight and compact system configured to contain an explosion, and alternatively, to redirect the explosion and resultant shrapnel downward and through the floor plate if the explosion cannot be contained.

An outlet c of the secondary subcooler is connected to an inlet d of a primary subcooler. An outlet e of the primary subcooler is connected to a pumping-out device through a rewarming device. A second outlet of the liquid oxygen tank is connected to an inlet n of the primary subcooler. An outlet o of the primary subcooler is connected to an inlet r of the secondary subcooler.

Three-dimensional layoutlayout method for splicing vault plates of large LNG storage tank

Method of constructing a vault of a large storage tank for liquefied natural gas by first modeling the vault with a 3-D modeling software application, then partially building the vault with a framework and a first set of covering panels fixed on the framework where the panels do not touch each other, but leave a number of gaps between them, measuring the dimensions of the actual gaps between the panels using a 3-D scanner, producing a second set of panels according to the scanned dimensional data, and finally filled the gaps between the first set of panels with the second set of panels, which are much smaller than the first set of panels, making the building process earlier and more accurate, which are difficult issues in building large tanks for liquefied natural gas.

METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR PRODUCING A FUEL FROM BIOGAS

A method for providing a fuel includes providing biogas from a plurality of biogas sources, the biogas from each biogas source produced in a process comprising filling a vessel with raw biogas or partially purified biogas to a pressure of at least 1500 psig and transporting the filled vessel to a centralized processing facility by vehicle. A fuel is produced in a fuel production process that includes feeding the biogas transported to the centralized processing facility to a biogas upgrading system that is configured to provide a carbon dioxide removed from the biogas. The removed carbon dioxide is provided for transport by vehicle and/or pipeline and/or sequestered to offset greenhouse gas emissions attributed to compressing the biogas for transport.
