Flashlight display package
A retail display card holds a product such as a flashlight in a tilted or skewed orientation with respect to the general plane of the top and bottom surfaces of the display card. In this manner, substantially the entire front lens of the flashlight is held above the plane of the card and substantially the entire rear on-off switch of the flashlight is held below the plane of the card. This allows a potential purchaser to easily access the on-off switch and view a substantially unobstructed beam of light produced by the flashlight.
Conspicuity devices and methods
The invention provides conspicuity devices and methods. A first embodiment includes a glove with at least one elongate lighting device adapted and configured to admit light having an advantageous spectral energy distribution. Additional articles of clothing are provided herein for enhanced conspicuity, such as for emergency workers and athletes.
MULTI-DIRECTIONAL LIGHT ASSEMBLY
Light assemblies comprise a housing having a chamber, one or more light emitting elements connected with the housing, a transparent cover, and one or more reflectors positioned adjacent the light emitting element. The one or more light emitting elements are interposed between the transparent cover and the one or more reflectors, and the one or more light emitting elements and one or more reflectors operate to provide a multi-directional field of illumination that is 180 degrees or more, e.g., between about 180 to 270 degrees. The transparent cover may have a convex outer surface to facilitate light transmission in side oriented directions. The light assembly may include switches or controls for on/off and/or dimming functions. An example light assembly comprises three light emitting elements in the form of LEDs, and includes three reflectors, wherein the LEDs and reflectors are configured to produce the desired field of illumination.
Method For Illumination of Outdoor Cooking Grill Surface
Disclosed is a method for providing immediate, direct illumination of the cooking surface of an outdoor cooking grill. The method employs the installation of a one-piece metallic light fixture holder attachable to cooking grills which have a hinged, curvilinear grill cover. The light fixture holder comprises a rigid, symmetrically-bent channel member, at least one horizontally-oriented curvilinear attachment arm, fastening tabs, and at least one pre-drilled hole in each fastening tab, said holes, corresponding to holes commonly used to attach a handle to a grill cover. The pre-drilled holes of the fastening tab of the light fixture holder allow the light fixture holder to be easily fastened and co-located in holes provided for the original manufacturer's grill cover handle. An appropriately-sized LED or battery-powered light fixture is then securely placed within the channel segment of the light fixture holder.
LIGHT EMITTING DIODE LINEAR WORKLIGHT
A light emitting diode (LED) linear worklight that converts point light into a linear light source is disclosed. The LED linear worklight comprises a linear light device and a power handle that connect together. The power handle holds batteries and comprises an LED module. The linear light device comprises a worklight body and a lens. A transparent light pipe is positioned in a reflecting holder inside the worklight body. The reflecting holder holds the light pipe and reflects light back into the light pipe. The LED module emits light into a light receiving end of the light pipe. The received light travels through the light pipe and is emitted from a light emitting surface of the light pipe. The reflecting holder reflects some of the light emitted from the light emitting surface and directs the light toward the lens and the light exits the worklight body.
Portable Linear Worklight
A portable linear worklight for converting point light into a linear light source is disclosed. The portable linear worklight comprises a worklight body and a lens. A transparent light pipe is positioned between an upper reflector and a lower reflector inside the worklight body. The lower reflector holds the light pipe and reflects light back into the light pipe. A light emitting diode in a battery housing emits light into a light receiving end of the light pipe. The received light travels trough the light pipe and is emitted from a light emitting surface of the light pipe. The upper reflector reflects some of the light emitted from the light emitting surface and directs the light toward the lens and the light exits the worklight body.
Portable Lighting Devices
A portable lighting product with a lock out mode of operation in which the portable lighting product cannot be turned on solely by a single actuation of a user-actuated switch until a sequence of operations is performed to unlock the user-actuated switch and turn off the lock out mode. Entry into the lock out mode of operation can be signaled by visual, audio or tactile signals. The sequence of operations can be activation of the user-actuated switch along with a designated movement of the principal axis of projection from a light source or activation of the user-actuated switch a plurality of times within a preselected interval.
Flashlight Device for Curing Light-Curable Materials, Method and Set
The invention relates to a flashlight device comprising at least one unit for generating flashlight and at least one unit for focusing the generated flashlight. The invention further relates to methods for the use thereof and to a set comprising at least one flashlight device according to the invention and a light-curable material, and to a device.
WEARABLE HEADLIGHT HOLDER ASSEMBLY
A wearable headlight holder assembly includes a central rectangular webbing with two stretchable rings extending at distal ends, and a strip of Velcro sewed to the center of said webbing and used to detachably strap the webbing to a headband. The headlight holder assembly allows for the placement of a light source though the two stretchable rings and allows the user to illuminate a chosen area. The present design are more flexible to fit headlights with various sizes and cost-effective to manufacture. The flexible design also allows it to be attached to a headband, a clothing, belt, or forearm for uses including but not limited to exercising, repairs or camping.
Multi-purpose flashlight
A multi-purpose, hand-held flashlight has an elongated body with a front body portion having a bottle opener and a front engaging structure. The elongated body also includes a rear body portion with a rear engaging structure that is cooperatively dimensioned to interact with the front engaging structure to releasably couple the front body portion to the rear body portion. The rear body portion includes a second substantially cone shaped extent that includes a recessed cutting element. A lighting element assembly is disposed within the elongated body and includes a lighting element printed circuit board coupled to an emitter assembly, a power source, and a switch. The switch is configured to change the operational mode of the emitter assembly. An attachment mechanism is coupled to the second extent of the rear body portion.
