Fan and light units and associated mounting arrangements for use at a loading dock
Example fan and light units and associated mounting arrangements for use at a loading dock are disclosed. An example apparatus includes a frame including a bar to be pivotally coupled to a support system via a point of attachment on the bar. The apparatus includes a fan and a controller to be coupled to the frame with the bar extending in a first direction away from the controller and toward the point of attachment, the controller to control operation of the fan. The apparatus includes a handle to be connected to a portion of the frame extending away from the controller in a second direction opposite the first direction, the handle spaced apart from a housing of the fan, the handle to be lower than the controller and lower than at least a midpoint of the fan when the apparatus is supported by the support system.

Emergency lighting assembly
An emergency lighting assembly includes a drum that has a chute extending into the drum. A spool is rotatably disposed within the drum. The spool is biased to rotate in a first direction and the spool is urgeable to rotate in a second direction. A locking mechanism is movably integrated into the drum to inhibit the spool from rotating and to facilitate the spool to rotate. A light rope is attached to the spool and the light rope can be pulled outwardly through the chute thereby facilitating the light rope to be positioned on the roadway. The light rope is illuminated when the light rope is turned on to visually alert motorists on the roadway to the hazard on the roadway. A clasp is attached to the light rope and the clasp is attachable to a support object for retaining the light rope in a desired position on the roadway.
Stand light
A method of operating a portable light including placing a base housing on a support surface, such that a plurality of legs are spaced away from the support surface and collapsed against an elongate body, grasping a portion of the portable light adjacent a light head with a first hand of a user and lifting the base housing away from the support surface, grasping the handle with a second hand of the user, depressing an actuator on the handle with the second hand, which removes a locking member from a locking recess of the elongate body to enable movement of the collar relative to the elongate body in a direction along a longitudinal axis, and sliding the collar along the elongate body away from the light head to move the plurality of legs to be obliquely angled relative to the elongate body.

PORTABLE LIGHTING SYSTEM INCLUDING LIGHT TOWER AND INVERTER HAVING REMOVABLE BATTERY PACK
One embodiment of the invention relates to a light tower. The light tower includes a base, an extendible mast coupled to the base, a light assembly coupled to the extendible mast and electrically coupled to the battery pack, and an inverter configured to receive and convert a direct current power from the battery pack into an alternating current power. The extendible mast is configured to move between a lowered position and a raised position.
AUDIO OUTPUT DEVICE WITH LANTERN
An audio output device has a lantern part extends along a first axis, an antenna part, an audio output part, and a control part. The antenna part has a first end and a second end that are respectively connected to a first side and a second side relative to a central part of the lantern part in a first direction parallel to the first axis. A portion of the antenna part between the first end and the second end extends in the first direction and is spaced apart from the lantern part in a direction orthogonal to the first direction. The control part is configured to cause the audio output part to output sound corresponding to a radio broadcasting wave received by the antenna part.

Cable and gripper assembly for suspended lighting fixtures
A combination of a gripper assembly that reduces the risk of electrical short circuits by incorporating non-conductive components, and a specially designed small diameter two, three or four conductor high strength flexible cord, which incorporates high tensile non-metallic strands or cables under a resilient but flexible plastic outer cover.
