A stringed holiday lighting ornament contains both drain holes at its base to alleviate moisture build-up, and protruding magnets for secure attachment to ferromagnetic surfaces, whereby such protrusion permits the drain holes to be exposed to the air and thus flow and/or evaporate away accumulated moisture.

STREET LIGHT
20220146065 · 2022-05-12 ·

A street light allows an electronic device installed therein to work properly. The street light has an internal chimney structure for dissipating heat from the electronic device and preventing any liquid from flowing into a space where the electronic device is accommodated. This allows the street light to internally provide both a dry environment and a heat dissipation mechanism for the electronic device, without closing an internal space of the street light, so as to greatly improve the above undesirable structural drawbacks of the conventional street light.

APPARATUS, METHOD, AND SYSTEM FOR REDUCING MOISTURE IN LED LIGHTING FIXTURES

Sealed LED lighting fixtures operated under certain conditions (e.g., outdoors, in cold ambient environments, at high operating current, and/or in non-hermetic environments) will oftentimes exhibit condensation on an inner surface of the emitting face of the fixture. When occurring, said condensation impairs the ability to produce useful light – namely, light harnessed and directed in a manner so to provide lighting for a task (or otherwise desired) – by diffusing light emitted from the lighting fixture. Envisioned are apparatus, methods, and systems to reduce moisture in sealed LED lighting fixtures so to reduce or eliminate condensation, and in a manner that addresses both fixtures already in the field and those being assembled in a factory setting. In one form, a carrier embedded with desiccant is positionally mounted inside the fixture in a desired position which has no or minimal impact on light output from the fixture.

LED lighting methods and apparatus

LED related lighting methods and apparatus are described. Various features relate to water tight light fixtures. Some of the fixtures are spotlights while other fixture are intended for in ground use. The light fixtures in at least some embodiments include power control features. In spotlight embodiments beam angle and power or light output can be controlled without opening the light assembly or compromising the water tight seals which also protect against dirt. In ground embodiments support tilt angle setting which allow a user to set the light fixture to one or more tilt angles. Beam angle can also be changed in some embodiments as well as power control. Beam angle, power control and tilt angle adjustments are supported in some embodiments but need not be supported in all embodiments with some embodiments using one or more of the described features but not all features.
