Outside door handle and motor vehicle equipped with same
An outside door handle, in particular for a motor vehicle, having a handle body comprising an outer contour, having a light source received by the handle body for a front area lighting and/or for a door handle cup lighting, and having a diffuser for scattering the light irradiated by the light source into diffuse light that is inwardly arranged in the handle body at a spacing from its outer contour.
VEHICLE LAMP LIGHT BLOCKING
A vehicle lamp includes one or more LEDs mounted to a printed circuit board for producing light. One or more inner lenses are coupled to LEDs for receiving light such that light enters along an edge or surface of each inner lens and propagates through each inner lens before exiting. A projection lens is oriented adjacent the inner lenses such that the projection lens receives light from the inner lenses and projects the light from the vehicle lamp. A light blocking material is applied to at least a portion of the projection lens for altering an appearance of light emitted from the projection lens. The resulting projections provide custom lit appearances having varying patterns, intensity, texture, and/or color. The vehicle lamp may be used for satisfying vehicle lamp legal functions, welcome functions, autonomous driving functions, and/or logo functions.
ASSISTANCE METHOD FOR A LIGHT CONTROL SYSTEM IN A MOTOR VEHICLE, LIGHT CONTROL SYSTEM, COMPUTER PROGRAM PRODUCT, AND COMPUTER-READABLE MEDIUM
An assistance method for a light control system in a motor vehicle, having a light controller for controlling a lighting unit in the motor vehicle for lighting a motor vehicle environment, a portable unit, at least one communication interface, and an evaluation unit for evaluating signals from the portable unit received via the communication interface. The lighting unit being controllable by the light controller and based on evaluation of the signals received from the portable unit, such that at least one light beam emitted by the lighting unit can be positioned in accordance with signals from the portable unit. A first assistance function manually or automatically switches on, the lighting unit is controlled such that when the first assistance function is switched on, the light beam moves automatically as a function of the portable unit being actuated at a time that follows the switching on of the first assistance function.
AMORPHOUS METAL APPARATUS
A method of forming and an apparatus that may include an amorphous metal shell having a visible surface and an opposed back surface, and a thermally conductive plastic member secured to the back surface. The apparatus may be a door handle for a vehicle. The apparatus may be formed by molding an amorphous metal shell having a visible surface and an opposed back surface, and molding a thermally conductive plastic member to the back surface.
Lamp Unit, Door Trim and Manufacturing Method of Lamp Unit
To provide a lamp unit in which rattling of a light-emitting element is prevented, a lamp unit includes: a holder member attached to an attachment object, a base board provided with a light-emitting element coupled on a main surface thereof; a retaining member that engages the holder member to sandwich the base board between the retaining member and the holder member such that the base board is retained at a prescribed position on the holder member; and a cover member that is at least partially light-transmissive and is attached to the holder member such that the cover member cooperates with the holder member to define a housing chamber for housing the base board and the retaining member.
OPTICAL ELEMENT, PROJECTION MODULE, VEHICLE AND METHOD
The invention relates to an optical element having a plurality of projection lenses (4) and at least one housing (2). in which the projection lenses (4) are accommodated. The projection lenses (4) are connected to the housing (2) by overmolding the projection lenses (4) during the production of the housing 2 by means of an injection molding method. Furthermore. the invention relates to a projection module having the optical element, to a vehicle having the optical element and to a method for producing the optical element.
Vehicle light assembly
A vehicle includes a mirror light assembly. A plurality of light sources is disposed in a housing and a plurality of reflectors surrounds each light source having a focal axis that is offset from each of the remaining reflectors. A sensor is configured to detect an object proximate the vehicle. A controller is configured to selectively illuminate the light sources to illuminate the object.
Illuminable composite pane
A composite pane is presented. The composite pane includes an outer pane and an inner pane that are bonded to each other via an intermediate layer. The composite pane further includes a light-diffusing glass fiber that is suitable for emitting light by diffusion via its side wall along its extension length. According to one aspect, the glass fiber is arranged, in sections, between the intermediate layer and the outer pane, and is arranged, in sections, between the intermediate layer and the inner pane. According to another aspect, the glass fiber is routed through an opening in the intermediate layer.
Projection film and projection device
A projection film and a projection device are provided. The projection film includes a pattern layer, a first light-transmission layer, a second light-transmission layer and a plurality of light-transmission particles. The pattern layer includes a light-transmission portion and a non-light-transmission portion. The first light-transmission layer is disposed below the pattern layer. The second light-transmission layer is disposed below the first light-transmission layer. The light-transmission particles are disposed between the first light-transmission layer and the second light-transmission layer. The impurity generated by the light-transmission particles will be reduced by utilizing a second light-transmission layer having a refractive index close to the refractive index of the light-transmission particles.
ELECTRICAL DEVICE FOR A VEHICLE RUNNING BOARD
An electrical device for a vehicle includes a housing having an upper portion and a lower portion. An upper light source attaches to the upper portion and a light guiding element attaches to the upper portion to receive the upper light from the upper light source and direct outgoing light in a substantially uniform direction. A display attaches to the upper portion to receive the outgoing light for illumination of the display. A lower member couples with the lower portion. A lower light source attaches to the lower member. A collimator attaches to the lower member to receive incoming light from the lower light source and change directions of the incoming light to a collimated beam. A lens element attaches to the lower portion to direct the collimated beam at a target.
