Vehicle lamp and vehicle lamp control system
A vehicle lamp includes a laser light source that is able to emit laser light and emits laser light generated by the laser light source forward from an emission end. The vehicle lamp includes a light-shielding member that shields the emission end from light from above to at least a horizontal position in front of the emission end.
Lighting device for a motor vehicle
A lighting device for a motor vehicle including a housing covered by a lens in a light main radiation direction, and at least one supporting plate for multiple illuminants. Partially different light functions are assigned to the illuminants. A recess, which is formed by the housing and which forms at least part of the function of a reflector, is assigned to one of the light functions. The recess has a volume which is multiple times smaller compared to the housing volume, and only such a part of the supporting plate, including at least one illuminant, projects into the recess which is multiple times smaller than a remaining part of the supporting plate, which supports the illuminants for the other light functions. Thus, it is possible to implement the additional light function of a side marker light using the compact lighting device, which has few components and is thus cost-effective.
Vehicular lamp fitting
A vehicular lamp fitting is provided with: a reflector having a first reflector portion; an inner panel; a first light guide member provided along an edge of the first reflector portion toward the center of the vehicle and disposed to be opposed to the first reflector portion; and a light source provided at least on either one end or the other end of the first light guide member so as to allow light to be incident on the first light guide member. The first light guide member is disposed so as to be visually recognized from the side of the vehicle, and part of direct light reflected by a reflective surface of the first light guide member and emitted toward the first reflector portion that has not been emitted ahead of the vehicle by the first reflector portion is emitted toward the side of the vehicle.
VEHICLE LAMP
Provided is a vehicle lamp configured such that light emitted from a light emitting element (30) and incident from an incident portion (22e) formed on a top surface (22c) of a plate-like light guide (22B) is reflected toward a front end surface (22a) of the plate-like light guide (22B) by a first reflecting portion (22f) formed on a bottom surface (22d) of the plate-like light guide (22B). At that time, the incident portion (22e) is positioned on a step-up surface (22c1) formed to protrude from a general portion (22c0) of the top surface (22c). Further, the first reflecting portion (22f) is formed such that its upper end edge (22f1) is located closer to the step-up surface (22c1) than the general portion (22c0) of the top surface (22c). In this way, a wide reflecting area of the first reflecting portion (22f) can be secured.
Front structure of vehicle having ventilation path to cool vehicle lamp
A front structure of a vehicle is provided with a vehicle front lamp disposed at each end portion of a vehicle front portion in a vehicle width direction. The vehicle front lamp includes a headlight, a cover member, and a lighting accessory. The cover member is disposed above the headlight. The lighting accessory is disposed above a rear portion of the headlight and below the cover member. The vehicle front lamp is provided with a ventilation path that is formed outward or inward of the headlight in the vehicle width direction below the cover member and that allows traveling wind from a vehicle front side to pass toward a vehicle rear side.
Vehicle lamp
A light-transmitting member is arranged such that light emitted from a light guide enters. Light which enters an incident end surface is emitted from an emitting end surface. The light-transmitting member has a wide width portion and a narrow width portion. A width of the incident end surface of the wide width portion is larger than a width of the light guide in a direction perpendicular to a longitudinal direction of the light guide. A width of the incident end surface of the narrow width portion is smaller than the width of the incident end surface of the wide width portion. The incident end surface has a curved surface convex toward the light guide at least in the wide width portion. A curvature of the incident end surface in the wide width portion is greater than a curvature of the incident end surface in the narrow width portion.
Vehicle exterior lighting systems
A vehicle exterior lighting system includes, among other things, a lens assembly, a light diffusing fiber enclosed within the lens assembly, a light source connected to a first portion of the light diffusing fiber, and a prismatic device connected to a second portion of the light diffusing fiber.
LAMP ASSEMBLY FOR A VEHICLE
A lamp assembly for a vehicle includes a housing, an outer lens partially covering the housing to define an enclosure between the housing and lens, a light emitting diode (LED) light source arranged in the enclosure, and a light guide forming part of the housing. The light guide may include a light receiving surface within the enclosure and a light emitting surface outside the enclosure so that light emitted from the LED light source is received by the light receiving surface of the light guide and directed toward the light emitting surface of the light guide and light is output from the light guide.
LIGHT PATTERNING DEVICE, VEHICLE LAMP COMPRISING THE SAME AND MOTOR VEHICLE
A light patterning device and a vehicle lamp including the light patterning device and a motor vehicle are provided. The light patterning device includes: at least one light source arranged to emit a light beam; a first patterning unit arranged to receive and pattern the light beam, the first patterning unit including a plurality of first light deflecting portions; and a second patterning unit arranged to receive and pattern the light beam which has been transmitted through the first patterning unit, the second patterning unit including a plurality of second light deflecting portions, wherein at least one of the first patterning unit and the second patterning unit is movable with respect to the other.
ILLUMINATION SYSTEM
An illumination system includes a lightguide having light extractors. A first light source is disposed at an end face of the lightguide. Light emitted by the first light source is extracted from the lightguide by the light extractors and exits the lightguide primarily along a first direction different than the length direction. A second light source is disposed along the length of the lightguide. Light emitted by the second light source enters the lightguide from a first side surface and exits the lightguide from a different second side surface along a second direction different than the first and length directions. Light emitted by the second light source has a first divergence in a first plane before entering the lightguide through the first side surface and a different second divergence in the first plane after exiting the lightguide from the second side surface.
