Vehicle Light System
The present invention relates generally to the field of vehicle lights. More specifically, the present invention relates to a multipurpose vehicle light that can be removably attached to an external surface of a vehicle or vessel. The device is solar or battery powered, does not rely on the vehicle's power source to operate, and can be removably attached to a vehicle exterior without damaging or permanently modifying the exterior. The device is further comprised of a USB port and a charging case to recharge the device, a light source comprised of a plurality of LEDs that may be remote controlled or automatically activated, a camera and a speaker.
Deep water enclosures for lighting and imaging
Enclosures for deep ocean or other high exterior pressure environment including a dome window with an angular measurement of between 164 and 178 degrees, a structure housing, a dome support ring, and a compliance material positioned between the dome support ring and housing are disclosed.
Through-Hull Light
A through-hull light for a marine vessel is provided. The light includes a body for mounting on the outer surface of a hull, having an outer side facing water and an inner side for mounting against the hull; a chamber formed within the body having a transparent screen mounted at an outer side; a shaft for extending from the inner side through an aperture in the hull; LEDs mounted within the chamber in parallel rows and arranged to be horizontal when the light is mounted through the hull, with each LED mounted to direct light out of the chamber in a first direction perpendicular to the inner side; a reflecting structure within the chamber having a plurality of reflectors positioned above or below a row of LEDS and parallel therewith, with each reflector formed to reflect light away at a fixed angle vertically from the first direction.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR PROTECTING A SURFACE AGAINST BIOFOULING
An anti-fouling lighting system is used for protecting a surface (16) against biofouling while the surface (16) is submerged in water. A non-contact water sensor (60) is used for sensing water thereby to detect whether or not a light source arrangement (26), or a portion of the light source arrangement (26), is submerged in water. The light source arrangement (26), or the portion of the light source arrangement (26), is controlled in dependence on the water sensor (60) output.
NAVIGATIONAL RUNNING LIGHT RETROFIT SYSTEM
Navigational running light retrofit system comprises a position tube that is inserted into a U.S. Naval specified navigational running light fixture and is further positioned, aligned and sealed using existing elements of the navigational running light fixture being retrofit. The positioning tube, having a generally tubular form, is a receiver for a commercially available LED navigational running light having cylindrical form. LED navigational running light is modified to secure a plate to the top surface of the assembly. This stabilizer plate has a similar diameter to the inner housing of the navigational running light fixture being retrofit, whereby stabilizing the retrofit system assembly when subjected to extreme mechanical shock. The positioning elements of the navigational running light retrofit system cooperate with the elements of the navigational running light fixture being retrofit to align and maintain alignment of the light exiting the fixture at the direction and angle.
STAINLESS STEEL LED POWER SWITCH
An encapsulated LED switch that incorporates a MOSFET power drivers, high current transistors, or other suitable power drivers in a PCB that attaches to the LED switch such that a low power LED switch controls the output of a high-power driver. The selected power driver PCB can be adapted to different load requirements by making simple changes. The PCB’s can be interchanged to provide for a predetermined output power required for a particular application. In addition, the wire gauge size of the wires attached to the MOSFET power driver PCB can also be varied to match intended load requirements. For applications in which the LED switch is used in hostile environments, such as marine applications, the LED switch and its associated power driver PCB are encapsulated to protect the circuitry from environmental factors such as high humidity, salt water, etc.
MAST NAVIGATION LIGHT
A mast navigation light includes a base assembly affixable to a surface, a pivot mechanism secured to the base assembly, a mast coupled at a proximal end with the pivot mechanism, and a light secured to a distal end of the mast. The pivot mechanism is configured to effect pivoting of the mast about at least two axes.
METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR WATER VESSEL LIGHTING DEVICES
A lighting system is disclosed that may be used for marine applications. The lighting system comprises a light strip support structure, a first light strip comprising a first plurality of lighting elements, including light elements of different colors, a second light strip comprising a second plurality of lighting elements, the second light strip positioned above the first light strip and configured to emit only white light, a light element controller electrically connected to the first light strip, wherein the light element controller is configured to control the illumination of the first plurality of lighting elements and not the second plurality of lighting elements and a connector configured to mate with a watercraft stern connector.

Boat driver awareness light
Embodiments of the present invention relate to a boat driver awareness system that alerts other boaters that there are swimmers, skiers, divers, rope or other hazards are in the water, thereby telling them to be aware and take extra caution in the area. When boating, especially on smaller or busy lakes/areas, this system will alert all other boaters that there are people/swimmers in the water and they can respond by keeping out of the area.
