Mounting Device and System for Suspending an Object
20250043940 · 2025-02-06 ·

A mounting device for suspending an object from a gutter hanger. The mounting device includes a fastening member having a first end that secures to and conceals the gutter hanger. The first end includes a planar segment and a pair of flanges pivotally extending from lateral sides of the planar segment, wherein the planar segment is able to rest atop the gutter hanger and the pair of flanges can fold beneath the gutter hanger. A J-shaped bracket is disposed on a second end and hangs over an edge of a gutter when secured to the gutter hanger. An object fastener extends from an exterior side of the gutter plate and forms a channel for receiving and suspending an object therefrom. In this way, the mounting device avoids the need for direct installation of objects directly onto the gutter or house.

A rain gutter illumination system having a cover for attaching to a rain gutter with an aperture along the substantial length of the cover, and opposing recesses for retaining a decorative insert. When the decorative insert is inserted in the cover, it is held in place by the recesses, and a light source and optional diffusing panel may be arranged in the cover so that the light source projects light through the aperture of the illuminable surface. The light source may be remotely controllable using a wireless remote control device, such as a smart phone over a network connection.

Illuminating a concrete structure

A method for constructing a concrete structure with light sources embedded therein is provided. An array of light sources with associated circuitry is positioned on a support member. A mold is positioned around the light sources and the associated circuitry on the support member. A binder material is filled in the mold containing the light sources and the associated circuitry on the support member to embed the light sources and the associated circuitry within the binder material. The binder material is allowed to set within the mold containing the embedded light sources and the associated circuitry. The mold and the support member are then removed to obtain the concrete structure embedded with the light sources and the associated circuitry. The embedded light sources illuminate the concrete structure when the embedded light sources are powered on. A decorative upper layer may be created by marbling, veining, etc., in the concrete structure.

Louvered patio cover

This disclosure relates to a louvered patio cover. The louvered patio cover may comprise a frame with support beams, louvered panels, support beam couplers, an actuator, a gutter, and/or other components. The support beams may have angled ends. The louvered panels may be rotatably coupled to the support beams. A support beam coupler may comprise first and second receivers. The first receiver may be configured to receive an angled end of a first support beam, and the second receiver may be configured to receive an angled end of a second support beam. The angled ends of the first and second support beams may face, meet, and/or abut each other when received by the first and second receivers. The actuator may be configured to rotate the louvered panels. A gutter may comprise a lighting channel configured to hold a light source for lighting an area under the louvered patio cover.

Stringed seasonal light storage device
09630769 · 2017-04-25 ·

A stringed seasonal light storage device allows stringed seasonal lights to be maintained on a structure and alternatively positioned to be displayed extending from a housing or obscured by positioning within the housing. The device includes a base having a rear face, a pair of sidewalls and an open bottom. Each of a pair of laterally aligned slots extends the sidewalls to receive a light string therein positioning a light between the sidewalls and pivotable between a display position and a storage position. A cover coupled to the base is pivotable between an open position and a closed position to permit moving of the light between the display position and the storage position and inhibit movement of the light between the storage position and the display position when the cover is in the closed position.

Interlocking roof shingle and roofing system

Interlocking roof shingle has a front rounded tongue on the first side edge; a tongue on the first end edge; an elongated groove assembly on the upper surface with a groove defined therein; a groove in the second end edge of the body; a groove in the second side edge of the body; and an elongated tongue assembly on the lower surface. In an embodiment of the invention, the front rounded tongue of an upper roof shingle is inserted into the elongated groove assembly of a lower roof shingle while at the same time a leg of the elongated tongue assembly of the upper roof shingle enters into a groove in the second end edge of the lower roof shingle for interlocking upper and lower shingles. The tongue on the first end edge is inserted into a corresponding groove in the second end edge of an adjacent roof shingle.
