A modular lighting installation platform includes a home base unit that is configured to be used as a junction box. The home base unit includes a housing that defines a cavity. The cavity houses circuitry that configured to convert a high voltage AC input power to a low voltage DC output power. The home base unit also includes an output port that is configured to removably couple at least one of a light fixture and an accessory to the home base unit via a low voltage cable to provide the low voltage DC output power to the at least one of a light fixture and an accessory.

The present disclosure relates to a mounting system and a method for using the mounting system. Features and implementations include: (1) clip assemblies fastened to an object, the clip assemblies having two magnetic connection members; (2) anchor magnets affixed to a building, wall, or other structure; and (3) a mounting head with a mounting-head magnet, the mounting head being attached to a pole and used to connect the clip assemblies to the anchor magnets without the use of a ladder.

A decorative removable lighting enclosed clip made for mounting a light to a support surface such as gutters, shingles or a building structure. The enclosed clip allows for an aesthetically pleasing display of lights with rapid and easy installation and removal of the lighting. This eliminates falling debris from broken clips or clips that fall off the lights during the removal process. A round or rectangular clip assembly that utilizes torsion tension spring loops, formed from the flexible material. The clip forms a tongue segment on one side of the torsion tension spring loops, and multiple extension members on the second side.

A magnetic support clip for supporting decorative lighting and other objects adjacent to gutters, roof eaves, and other structures of homes and other buildings. The support clip includes a proximal portion and a distal portion which are rotatably attached to one another via hinge-like structures that permit the clip portions to rotate about the hinge axis, providing the capability of the clip to operate in an open mode of operation during the installation and removal of the clip, and in a closed mode of operation when the clip is mounted to a gutter. Magnets embedded in lower portions of both of the clip portions are configured to be aligned when mounted onto a gutter and placed by a user into a closed mode of operation. The boxes can have displays for holiday messages as well as speakers for playing music and messages.
