A lighting rope for an accessory includes a power control unit, a rope sleeve, and a flexible printed circuit board provided inside and extending along the rope sleeve. The flexible printed circuit board is sleeved with the rope sleeve by using a heat shrinkable film wrapping process. The flexible printed circuit board is provided in a length direction with a plurality of light-emitting diodes (LEDs) arranged at intervals. The power supply control unit includes a push button and a power supply battery. The LEDs are powered by the power supply battery and controlled by the push button to emit light. A semiconductor process is used to mount the LEDs on the flexible printed circuit board and the heat shrinkable film wrapping process is used to wrap the rope sleeve outside the flexible printed circuit board, greatly reducing the diameter of the existing lighting rope.

Light transmissive fiber integrated knit textile

Disclosed herein is a light transmissive fiber integrated knit textile for use on consumer electronic products. The knit textile is depicted to be constructed with light transmissive fibers integration through a weave-in/inlay knit technique with a flat-bed knitting construction. The light transmissive knitted textile is also tethered to a portable electronic device, allowing for the light transmitting fibers knitted into the fabric to define a lighting display on said fabric.

SELECTIVELY ILLUMINATED JEWELRY, AND A SYSTEM AND METHOD THEREOF

A system and method selectively illuminate gems in a piece of jewelry, allowing the jewelry to be transformed into a utilitarian object as well as a decorative object. A person can wear the jewelry ornamentally, as well as use the jewelry like a watch or a touch screen. The jewelry includes a plurality of gems, a plurality of light sources, and a controller. The plurality of gems is arranged in at least one grid. Each of the light sources emits light reachable to a corresponding gem and oriented to illuminate the corresponding gem. The controller is responsive to a received input and is configured to selectively control the plurality of light sources to selectively illuminate the light sources to shine or not shine light on each of the plurality of gems. The light selectively changes an optical property of each gem corresponding to the received input.

A light source comprising a substrate, wherein the substrate is coated with a transflective thin film optical coating, wherein the coating results in a metallic mirror and/or iridescent effect on the substrate; and a light emitting diode comprising an internal circuitry, wherein when the light source in a switched-Off mode the metallic mirror effect or the iridescent effect conceal internal circuitry of the light emitting diode to provide an aesthetic look and color on the gemstone, wherein when the light source is switched-ON the transflective thin film allows LED light to transmit through the substrate, wherein the light source comprises a substantially invisible light source integrated onto a substrate. In other embodiments, LED may include OLED, transparent inorganic LED, flexible COF LED, etc. . . . . In embodiments, the gemstone may be foiled, unfoiled, multi-facetted, colorless, colored, etc. . . . .

Illuminated ponytail holder

A ponytail holder includes a frustoconical base having first and second parts each mutually hinged to move between an open position and a closed position about the ponytail. The bottom edge of the base is at least partially covered with an electrically conductive surface. A frustoconical cover is fixable with the base and includes at least two conductive projections each adapted for a snap fit with the bottom edge of the base to mechanically and electrically secure the cover to the base. A plurality of LEDs fixed with the cover are connected to the battery when the cover is engaged with the base. A controller provides power from the battery to the LEDs in a variety of ways to create a unique lighting effect based on a rotational position of the cover, an ambient sound level, a selected lighting mode, or a wireless command signal.
