VOLLEYBALL TRAINING DEVICE
In an embodiment, a volleyball training device includes a handle with two sliding grips. The sliding grips may each slide between one end of the handle and the center of the handle. The handle may include an anchor connected through its center. One or more foot straps, each including an anchor, may be connected to the handle anchor with a resistance band or strap. Two foot straps may be connected to the handle anchor with separate resistance bands, or by s single resistance band threaded through the handle anchor.
HINGED ARM MUSCLE EXERCISE DEVICE
In one example, a muscle exercise device includes a first arm and a second arm rotatably connected to the first arm, and the second arm and the first arm are configured to cooperatively define a recess having a shape that changes as one of the first arm and the second arm moves toward, or away from, the other of the first arm and the second arm. The muscle exercise device further includes a resistance element configured to reside in the recess and be compressed between the first arm and the second arm so as to assume a configuration similar to the shape of the recess. Finally, a wireless transmitter chip is disposed in either the first arm or the second arm, and the wireless transmitter chip is responsive to communications from an app residing on a user device.
Spring exercise system and method of exercising
A spring exercise system and method of exercising that allows a user to perform a full body, low-impact style of exercise. The system utilizes a non-fixed extension spring that stretches and generates resistance when pulling and pressing forces are applied. The extension spring or springs are stretchable between multiple types of interchangeable grasp handles which may include any combination of a resilient loop handle with or without double “D” rings, a single rigid handle, and/or a resilient double loop handle. The spring may have a swiveling link or other mechanism/structure that joins the free ends of the spring to the grasp handles allowing a 360° rotation. The grasp handles are used with combinations of hands and feet, arms and legs to generate an extension of resistance that stretches, strengthens and tones muscles, enhances flexibility, core strength, joint stability, and muscle balance.
EXERCISE PROP
An exercise prop for use in the performance of floor-based exercises such as Pilates and isometric exercises is provided. The exercise prop includes a braided body having a looped handgrip at each end. A method for fabricating an exercise prop is also provided.
Pneumatic joint separator for lower body alignment
A leg muscle, abdominal muscle, and spinal exercise device adapted for imparting curvature to a lumbar or sacral spine of a user and for manipulating the spine and intervertebral discs with decompression force includes a frame for placement on a floor. The frame has a top surface and a bottom surface, wherein the top surface and bottom surface are in a spaced apart relationship forming a hollow portion there between. At least one inflatable bladder is carried by the top surface of the frame. A body strap attachment passes through the frame in non-fixed relationship and is partially disposed within the hollow portion for encompassing the user's thoracic-sacral spinal region and securing said frame. An elongate stirrup strap member is attachable to the body strap attachment thereby connecting to the user's spinal region. A stirrup is attachable to the stirrup strap member distal end.
Remote-sensing, Bluetooth-enabled resistance exercise band
Devices and methods are disclosed for remote clinical monitoring performance of exercises using a smart resistance exercise device including a resistance band, a first handle connected to a first end of the resistance band and a second handle connected to a second end of the resistance band, a force sensing assembly operably coupled to the resistance band, and a local receiving device communicatively coupled to the force sensing assembly. The force sensing assembly of the device includes a housing, and a force sensor disposed in the housing and operatively connected to the resistance band to measure a force exerted on the resistance band. The force sensing assembly also includes a processing and communication module communicatively coupled to the force sensor to receive measurements of the force sensor and communicatively coupled to the local receiving device to transmit the measurements to the local receiving device.
EXERCISE SHUTTLE DEVICE
An exercise device includes a shuttle configured to translate along a first and a second cable in response to a separation of the cables by a user. The cables may extend along first and second cable slots that extend through a shuttle housing between first and second sides of the housing. First and second pulleys may be rotatably mounted to the housing and include corresponding first and second engagement surfaces configured to engage respective the first and second cables within the respective first and second cable slots. Separation of the cable ends, proximate to the first side of the housing, relative to the first and second cable slots drives rotation of the pulleys and corresponding translation of the shuttle along the cables, away from the separating cable ends.
Archery training device
Embodiments herein describe an archery training device for improving shooting accuracy. The device has a rigid body graspable by one hand, an elastic section for providing resistance, and a string coupled to the elastic section with a loop on the opposite end. The device further includes an adjustable string length and adjustable resistance to match a particular configuration of a bow for a particular sporting enthusiast or hunter.
EXERCISE SYSTEMS AND METHODS
A workout device that allows for at home Nordic hamstring curls using a. doorframe or other immovable object is disclosed.
Exercise Apparatus
An exercise apparatus configured to combat postural maladaptations is provided. The exercise apparatus includes a rigid central spherical body having a channel passing through the center thereof through which a resilient band may be passed. The resilient band is removable and may be made of any suitable resilient material, such as, for example, a rubber material. The central spherical body may be formed of any suitable rigid or semi-rigid material that resists deformation.
