Adjustable resistance weight sled with bias correction and wheel skid control

A weight sled for fitness training that uses a plurality of separately-adjustable resistance mechanisms to allow for adjustment of overall resistance, bias correction and directional control, and wheel skid or slippage control, by means of differential adjustment of the resistance of the plurality of resistance mechanisms. Differential adjustment of the resistance mechanisms can be used to manually or automatically offset a directional bias in the sled, ground surface, or the athlete's abilities to keep the sled moving in a linear motion, and to prevent wheel skid on surfaces with differing friction coefficients.

NEGATIVE LIFT EXERCISE APPARATUS
20200391068 · 2020-12-17 ·

An exercise apparatus for use by a sole individual user. In the preferred embodiment, a frame having a base is provided. A mast is attached to the base. A pivotable platform or bench on which the user can be positioned is operatively connected to the base and, in the quiescent state of the apparatus, parallel to the base. A handlebar unit, preferably comprising two grips, is connected to the mast, the handlebar unit having at least one sensor operable by the individual user. A drive element is operatively connected to the mast for producing resistance to the handlebar unit. The exercise apparatus operates on the principle of negative resistance technology, so when the user releases at least one of the handlebar unit sensors, the handlebar unit returns to an initial position relative to the mast, and the user can rest, start again, or depart from the apparatus.

Running Emulator
20200391074 · 2020-12-17 ·

A running emulator for increasing an athlete's strength in the movement of specific muscles used for running includes: a lower body frame; a pair of leg assemblies movably mounted on the lower body frame and having a leg extension carrier, a leg extension member slidably mounted through the leg extension carrier, a foot cradle mounted to the leg extension member; and two leg resistance members located on an outside of the lower body frame and connected to each of the pair of leg assemblies for resisting pivoting of the leg extension carrier relative to the lower body frame. During use by an athlete, the leg assemblies pivot and the leg extension member reciprocates through the leg extension carrier such that a path travelled by the athlete's foot on the foot cradle emulates motion of a sprinter.

TONING GARMENT WITH MODULAR RESISTANCE UNIT DOCKING PLATFORMS

Disclosed is a technical training garment configured for use with modular, interchangeable electronics and resistance modules. The garment provides resistance to movement throughout an angular range of motion and tracks biomechanical parameters such as stride length, stride rate, angular velocity and incremental power expended by the wearer. The garment may be low profile, and worn by a wearer as a primary garment or beneath or over conventional clothing. Alternatively, the device may be worn as a supplemental training tool during conventional training protocols.

EXERCISE MACHINE USING MOTION SENSOR TO TRACK EXERCISE
20200376336 · 2020-12-03 ·

An exercise machine using motion sensor to track exercise, comprising: an exercise equipment, including a mainframe, the mainframe is fixed and won't be moved by user's movement, an operating mechanism, the operating mechanism is arranged on the mainframe and it will follow the movement of the user; wherein the operating mechanism having a motion sensor, inside the motion sensor having a multiple-axis tracking sensor module and a first microprocessor for detecting the height displacement of the operating mechanism and transmitting the height displacement signal to an electronic control device, then processing by a second microprocessor arranged inside the electronic control device to know whether the motion track of the user reach the preset position during exercise to ensure the effect of exercising.

Method and apparatus for electronically controlled resistance in exercise equipment

A system and method for controlling a tension in an exercise apparatus are provided. The system includes an input/output (I/O) subsystem for permitting a user to enter at least one resistance value and for displaying a resistance exerted by the exercise apparatus; a controller configured to control the tension of the exercise apparatus based on the at least one resistance value entered by the user adjusting a position of a holder and moving a plurality of guides for selective attachment of tension members to catches on the exercise apparatus; and a power source connected to the controller and the I/O subsystem and configured to power the controller and the I/O subsystem.

Multi-axis adjustable exercise machine

A multi-axis adjustable exercise machine which is pivotable about both a pitch axis and a roll axis with respect to a base for allowing an exerciser to perform a wide range of exercises on a pitched or rolled exercise machine. The multi-axis adjustable exercise machine generally includes an exercise machine which is adjustable with respect to a base. The exercise machine may be pivoted about a roll axis to adjust the roll angle of the exercise machine or may be pivoted about a pitch axis to adjust the pitch angle of the exercise machine. One or more actuators may be connected between the base and the exercise machine to effectuate the pivoting of the exercise machine about either or both axes with respect to the base.

Climbing exerciser

A climbing exerciser includes a base mount, left and right racks located at left and right sides of the base mount respectively, two left links each having an end pivotally connected with the base mount and the other end pivotally connected with the left rack in a way that the left rack is reciprocatingly moveable up and down, two right links each having an end pivotally connected with the base mount and the other end pivotally connected with the right rack in a way that the right rack is reciprocatingly moveable up and down, and a motion linking device disposed to the base mount and linked with the left rack and the right rack in a way that the right rack lowers when the left rack raises. As such, the climbing exerciser can provide smooth and more natural movements to the user with low noise and various exercise modes.

WEIGHT TRAINING APPARATUS
20200353301 · 2020-11-12 ·

A weight training apparatus using hydraulics or pneumatics for applying positive and negative resistance closer to a user's maximum capacity throughout a lift is provided. The apparatus allows for weight training without weights. The apparatus may provide a more effective and safer mechanism for training than conventional techniques. An aerobic apparatus using hydraulics or pneumatics for a more realistic feel is also provided. Methods of using the devices are also provided.
