Dip apparatus, methods, and systems
A collapsible and portable dip apparatus may be structurally configured for use with one or more resistance bands for adjusting the intensity of exercises. Specifically, a dip apparatus according to the present teachings may include side structures that are pivotable towards a central support structure to reduce a footprint of the dip apparatus, e.g., for storage. Further, the side structures may include support bars that are structurally configured for engagement with a resistance band, where the support bars are located below gripping bars of the dip apparatus. To this end, the present teachings include an exercise system featuring the aforementioned dip apparatus and resistance bands, where a user can engage a resistance band with each of the side structures of the dip apparatus such that a user can place his/her knees on the resistance band for support when performing a dip exercise.
Adjustable resistance band and method of use thereof
An adjustable resistance band for exercise or physical therapy apparatus including a webbing hook component, strap and slots with openings for adjustability in which the band is easily secured around the user's legs or torso by placing the webbing hook in one of the loop openings.
Upper leg and hip exercise method and device to preserve knee and ankle joint while exercising
The present invention includes an arm; a leg pad; a long rectangle shaped seat; a seat angle fixing unit on the seat, for adjusting the angle between the seat and the leg pad (when viewed from above) according to his/her purpose so that the seat can be adjusted to be perpendicular or parallel to the leg pad when viewed from above; and thus the to the user is allowed to move the exercising leg of the user to the back of the user or perform a motion for stretching his/her back straight from a starting pose at which the user lie down on his/her back placed on the seat, wherein the leg pad is placed above the user's pelvis.
Stretch Band or Cord Exercise Apparatus and Methods of Using the Same
A stretch band or cord exercise apparatus comprises a flat planar base having a plurality of connection elements around a portion of a perimeter thereof. Stretch bands, bungee cords, or other similar stretch cord or band, may be attached, hooked, tied to, or otherwise disposed on one or more of the plurality of connection elements and utilized for one or more exercises by a user standing on or adjacent to the apparatus. The apparatus may be disposed on a floor, or may be attached to a different horizontal surface, such as a raised platform, a table, or even a ceiling, or may be attached to a vertical surface. Methods of using the same are further provided.
Portable Wearable Resistance Band Training Apparatus
A portable, wearable resistance band training apparatus having at least one resistance device secured in a channel of a strap portion forming shoulder straps, and a plurality of access openings in the shoulder strap portion for grasping and extending the resistance device from the sleeve for performing one or more resistance training exercises.
FUNCTIONAL GARMENTS AND METHODS THEREOF
Provided herein in some embodiments is a resistance-training system including an upper-body garment having a first section of a single-layered construction and a second section of a multi-layered construction. The single-layered construction can include a first fabric layer. The multi-layered construction can include the first fabric layer, a second fabric layer, and a resistance-providing layer in-between the first fabric layer and the second fabric layer. The resistance-training system also includes a lower-body garment having the multi-layered construction, optionally with a different resistance-providing layer than the upper-body garment. The resistance-providing layer of the upper-body garment and the lower-body garment can be configured to provide resistance to one or more user movements for a user donning the resistance-training system.
INTERACTIVE RESISTANCE BAND TRAINING SYSTEMS
Interactive/smart resistance band training systems include one or more resistance bands connected to a force sensing unit that registers the force exerted by a user on handles connected to the bands. The sensing unit operates effectively regardless of whether the user is training with one handle individually, or with two handles being pulled in parallel or non-parallel directions. The systems may correct the force readings to account for non-alignment between the force-measurement axis of the force sensing unit and the directions in which the user applies force to the resistance bands. The systems may guide a user through exercise sessions tailored to the fitness level of the user; may display the force readings, calories burned, and other performance parameters and goals on a continuous, real-time basis; may summarize the result of the exercise session; and may recommend subsequent exercise sessions based on the performance of the user.
Fitness machine with arc plates
Improved designs for exercise machines that facilitate muscle development and other therapeutics are disclosed. The machine includes a frame, a pulley assembly, and cable extending through the pulley assembly. The cable has attachments, including an attachment for connecting to a pull handle. The cable is also connected to a selectively variable moveable resistance unit. This unit is structured to provide an elastic resistance when a pulling force is applied to the pull handle. The unit is connected to the cable and includes an elastomeric body that provides the elastic resistance and also includes an arc plate that provides a curved support member on which a portion of the elastomeric body at least partially wraps around. Movement of the arc plate causes the elastomeric body to stretch and to provide the elastic resistance.
Exercise machine
An exercise machine which includes a centralized spring box and multiple gripping surfaces with which an exerciser may perform a wide range of exercise moves. The exercise machine includes a movable carriage and platform on a track. Bias members may be connected between the carriage and various structural elements of the exercise machine so as to impart a resistance force against movement of the carriage. An outer handle may be positioned around a carriage platform so as to surround the carriage platform. Inner handles may be positioned between the carriage platform and the outer handle, with the inner handle(s) being connected not to the outer handle or the carriage platform, but to an underlying support assembly. A pair of end handles may extend outwardly from the ends of the exercise machine. A bias member retainer such as a spring box may be centrally-located along the length of the exercise machine.
IMPROVED DEVICE FOR SUSPENSION TRAINING
The invention relates to an improved device for suspension training, having a central pulley which is secured by a carabiner with a safety closure and through the channel of which slides an 8 mm cord restricted by sliding cord loops into which are hooked flat carabiners that connect same to handles formed by a flat strap and a tube with a cushioned surface, the device also having a strap of loops.
