A bicep curl device is provided. In one embodiment, the device is comprised of a bar with ends that can receive and/or may be comprised of a weight. The weight may have ball bearings that allow rotation of the weight to indicate improper bicep curl form by causing the weights to swing if too much momentum is used. In a different embodiment, the device is only comprised of rotating weights that can be used with existing barbell types, wherein said weights rotate/swing during use if improper form or inappropriate weight is used.

Exercise and massage device

An exercise and massage device utilizes a substantially spherical body having a central cavity that extends to opposite sides of the spherical body so that the cavity forms openings on opposite sides of the spherical body. The spherical body has an outer core of a first resilient hardness. A single rigid handle is positioned within the cavity. The openings of the cavity are sized and configured for allowing a user to access and manually grasp the handle through either opening. A resilient outer layer surrounds the outer core of the spherical body and provides an exterior surface of the spherical body. The resilient outer layer has a second resilient hardness that is less than that of the first resilient hardness of the outer core of the spherical body to provide a cushioning effect when the device is used in a massage mode. The device is weighted to provide a total weight of the device of from 2 lbs or more.

Exercise equipment and method of exercising utilizing a pulse generation

An exercise equipment configured to exercise muscles by require the muscles to generate torque intermittently is provided. The exercise equipment includes a sleeve. A pipe is slidably disposed within the sleeve. The sleeve is concentric to the pipe wherein the outer surface of the pipe is spaced apart the inner surface of the sleeve. A counterweight is mounted to at least one end of the pipe wherein the rotation of the pipe along an orbital path causes the pipe to turn within the bore of the sleeve. The turning of the pipe is a result of the counterweights completing a revolution as the counterweights rotate about the longitudinal axis of the pipe. The turning of the pipe generates a pulse so as to actuate muscular structure within the body of the user.

NECK MUSCLE EXERCISER AND METHOD OF ASSESSING NECK MUSCLE PERFORMANCE

Training neck muscles in such a way as to improve responsiveness to head acceleration forces, and to help prevent concussion and/or screening subjects who are at high risk of concussion, especially from contact sports or military activities, may be accomplished by a device and/or method of training that incorporates an adjustable centripetal force about a fixed axis on the head. The centripetal force may be adjusted through varying the weight and/or length of a force arm, and neck muscle performance may be measured by a number of revolutions of the force arm completed over a set time period or a time required to complete a pre-determined number of revolutions of the force arm.

Waist training device

A waist training device includes unit members of arc shaped and adapted to be assembled as a ring. The inner diameter of the ring is determined by the number of the unit members. Each unit member defines a passage, and the passages of the unit members are connected with each other to form a rail extended annularly along the ring. For each member, a pair of pivot shafts is located at one end of the passage, and a pair of pivot holes is located at the other end of the passage. The pivot shafts of each unit member are pivotally assembled with the pivot holes of an adjacent unit member. A counter weight member is assembled in the rail. The counter weight member has a seat connected to a counter weight block. The counter weight member moves along the rail by the sliding of the seat in the rail.

Weighted exercise device

A weighted exercise apparatus having a body section containing a flowable weighted material movable within the housing. The housing has a longitudinal axis and longitudinally opposed end sections. A connection socket is located at each end section. A pair of handle members correspond to the connection sockets, having a connection end received within an open end of the corresponding connection socket. Each handle member includes at least one radially extending retractable locking pin and a radially extending rigid projection. The corresponding socket includes a channel rotationally receiving the projection and at least one aperture to receive the at least one locking pin. The projection and at least one locking pin are arranged such that when the locking pin is aligned with and received within the aperture the projection is received and longitudinally restrained within channel providing a secure yet easily releasable method of rotationally locking the handle relative to socket.

A waist fitness apparatus includes main body and a resilient cover. The main body has a base pivotally connected with a supporting board through an eccentric unit, and the base is used to distribute the weight of the user, so the main body can be stably disposed on the ground. The present invention is advantageous because the height of the supporting board is higher than the height of the knee height of an average adult, the user does not have to bend the knees when sitting on it to increase the comfortableness. Also, the supporting board can be dragged back to its original position by the cover when it is not in use, so the user does not have to adjust the supporting board.
