BURNER FOR A COMBUSTION MACHINE AND COMBUSTION MACHINE
A burner for a combustion machine, having a pilot burner, which extends in the axial direction, having a nozzle chamber, having a burner region and having a cover plate which is arranged between the nozzle chamber and the burner region and which has an inlet opening, wherein an adapter is arranged, in order to guide air out of the nozzle chamber along a specified flow path in the direction of the combustion region, wherein a flow channel is formed as part of the flow path between the adapter and the cover plate and the adapter has a radially extending, annular section which, together with the cover plate, forms a radial section of the flow channel, in order to cool the cover plate by the air. A combustion machine has such a burner.

COOLING JACKET FOR GASIFICATION BURNER
A feed injector for a gasifier comprising a burner and a cooling jacket to protect the burner from high temperatures. The cooling jacket comprises two concentric channels in order to provide a flow path for a heat transfer fluid, typically water, to travel through one channel toward the burner front, travel along the burner front, and return through the other channel. Heat transfer in the cooling jacket is improved by introducing one or more fins in the path of the heat transfer fluid and/or by increasing the radius of curvature of the wall corner bordering the flow recirculation zone in the cooling jacket.
COOLING SHIELD FOR A LIQUOR INJECTION PIPE OF A LIQUOR GUN, LIQUOR GUN SYSTEM COMPRISING THE COOLING SHIELD, AND METHOD FOR COOLING A LIQUOR INJECTION PIPE IN A LIQUOR GUN SYSTEM
A cooling shield for a liquor injection pipe of a liquor gun for supplying liquor to a combustion chamber of a recovery boiler, which has a first and a second side edge, the side edges extending in a longitudinal direction (L) of the cooling shield, and a first end edge and a second end edge extending between the side edges, the cooling shield comprising an outside shield wall, and an inside shield wall, the outside shield wall and the inside shield wall being connected along the side edges of the cooling shield, the cooling shield comprising a cooling medium space being arranged between the outside shield wall and the inside shield wall, the cooling shield comprising a cooling medium inlet and a cooling medium outlet the cooling medium inlet and the cooling medium outlet being arranged in communication with the cooling medium space.

Flow divider
A flow divider for diverging a fluid includes a main body that includes first and second side surfaces being opposite to each other along a central axis of the main body. The first side surface has a central segment transversely intersecting the central axis, and having an inlet channel recessed toward the second side surface, a generally annular channel surrounding the central segment, recessed toward the second side surface, and spatially communicated with the inlet channel at a junction space, and an inclined segment surrounding the annular channel. A width of the annular channel decreases gradually from a start measurement to an end measurement along a rotational direction with respect to the central axis.
PLUGGING RESISTANT FREE-JET BURNER AND METHOD
A plugging resistant, highly stable free-jet burner and method which provide Ultra-Low NO.sub.x emissions using (a) large free-jet ejection ports, (b) a wide tip-to-tip spacing, and (c) auxiliary stabilization tips in the throat of the burner which are highly resistant to plugging and also produce very low levels of NO.sub.x emissions.
