Pre-mix burner assembly for low NOx emission furnace
A burner assembly according to aspects of the disclosure includes a burner surface carried by a burner, the burner surface extending outward from a front side of the burner, a housing coupled to the burner on a side opposite the front side of the burner, a gasket disposed between the burner and the housing, a thermally anisotropic protective covering located on the front side of the burner and surrounding a perimeter of the burner surface, and an igniter positioned adjacent to the burner surface.
Torch Heat Shield
A torch heat shield attachment for a butane torch or similar device includes an outer mesh material that is wrapper around an inner aluminum cylinder. The outer mesh material forms an outer mesh cylinder spaced around an inner mesh cylinder via a plurality of fasteners that secure the mesh in its cylindrical shape while spacing the formed inner and outer mesh cylinders to form a gap therebetween. The fasteners are removable and rearrangeable to customize the appearance of the torch heat shield. The aluminum plate, the two mesh cylinders formed by the mesh material, and the gap formed between the two mesh cylinders help to shield a user of the torch from excess heat by dissipating the heat from the torch tip.
Liner Device for a Furnace
Liner device, adapted to be mounted between a burner box and a tube interface plate of a furnace. The liner device includes a base section, one or more tube sections, and one or more angle fasteners. The base section includes a shielding layer formed from a first flexible mesh of flame-resistant fibers, the shielding layer defining a first surface that is configured to face the burner box, a second surface opposite to the first surface, and a medial region with a through-hole forming a passageway through the shielding layer. The tube section is composed essentially of a second flexible mesh of flame-resistant fibers formed into a tubular shape that defines an internal channel around a nominal axis. A proximal end of the tube section is positioned at the base section, such that the channel opens into the through-hole and that the tube section projects from the second surface and in a direction faced by the second surface. The angle fastener has a base portion that is positioned along and fixed to the second surface of the shielding layer. The angle fastener further has a leg portion that projects towards the second direction and is positioned along and fixed to an outer surface of the tube section at or near the proximal end thereof.
TUBULAR COMBUSTION CHAMBER WITH CERAMIC CLADDING
A combustion chamber with a jacket arranged around a principal axis of the combustion chamber, a ceramic tube that is arranged inside the jacket, wherein an intermediate layer is arranged between the jacket and the ceramic tube. The jacket is at least partially conical. The ceramic tube is under axial stress in the jacket along the principal axis. The ceramic tube is an assembly of multiple heat shield segments. The heat shield segments each have a hot side that is designed to come into contact with a hot medium, a cold side that is opposite the hot side and is oriented toward the jacket, and a circumferential rim between the hot side and the cold side. In the cold state, individual heat shield segments of a segment row have, on the rim, bearing surfaces that the adjoin the cold side and gaps that open toward the hot gas side.
Combustion burner
Submerged combustion burners having a burner body and a burner tip connected thereto. The burner body has an external conduit and first and second internal conduits substantially concentric therewith, forming first and second annuli for passing a cooling fluid therethrough. The burner includes a generally central flow passage for a combustible mixture, the flow passage partially defined by an inner wall of the burner tip. The burner tip has an outer wall and crown connecting the inner and outer walls. The inner and outer walls and crown comprise materials having greater corrosion and/or fatigue resistance than the burner external conduit. The burner tip is connected to the burner body by inner and outer connections, at least one of which includes members interference fit to the burner tip and burner body, the members welded, soldered, or brazed together, in certain instances by fiber laser welding.
BURNER BOX LINER FOR LOW NOx EMISSION FURNACE
A burner box assembly according to aspects of the disclosure includes an outer cover, the outer cover having a sloped bottom face that directs condensation away from a heat-exchange tube, a heat-resistant liner having a plurality of panel members, the heat-resistant liner being disposed within the outer cover, a shield disposed between the heat-resistant liner and the sloped bottom face of the outer cover such that an air gap is formed between the shield and the sloped bottom face, and a tubular member abutting at least one of the plurality of panel members and disposed within the heat-exchange tube.
Fire display device
A fire display device includes a fuel reservoir, a cap, a wick, and a fixture assembly for holding the wick. The cap is positioned within the fuel reservoir and forms a recess. The cap has at least one fuel injection hole and a first positioning hole both extending therethrough and in communication with the chamber and the recess. The wick is inserted through the first positioning hole and has a top end positioned above the cap and a bottom end positioned below the cap. The fixture assembly includes a clamping member with first and second clamping surfaces. The wick is clamped between the first and second clamping surfaces. The first and second clamping surfaces are inserted through the first positioning hole.
COMBUSTION DEVICE HAVING DOUBLE-LAYER STRUCTURE
A combustion device having a double-layer structure includes a main body, which is double layered, including an inner-layer wall and an outer-layer wall disposed outside of and spaced from the inner-layer wall such that the inner-layer wall and the outer-layer wall include a hollow disposed therebetween. The inner-layer wall forms a fuel receptacle with an opening. A wick has an end defining fuel-drawing end inserted into the fuel receptacle through the opening.
