Guided movement exercise machine

An exercise machine can include a frame, one or more platform arms that can be driven by a motor or a hydraulic system, and one or more handle arms that can be grasped by the user's hands. The exercise machine can guide the user through movement that actively flexes and extends portions of a user's body while the user exercises to provide, for example, dynamic stretching and cardio benefits while achieving strength training.

VERSATILE UNIVERSAL GYM
20210170218 · 2021-06-10 · ·

A universal gym exhibits improved versatility employing a frame supporting a weight stack connected via cable to an exercise attachment point, which further engages a floating pulley with an extension cable. Accessory receiving ports throughout the frame allow placement of the floating pulley virtually anywhere the athlete desires, affording a vast array of exercises employing the weight stack. Free weights, elastic bands, and the weight stack, alone or in combination, can provide a diverse resistance. Decorative panels, optionally mounted with hollow-headed bolts each having an axial recess for receiving and retaining a panel-mounting rivet, can disguise the universal gym when not in use.

Strength training and exercise platform

An exercise device includes a base defining an inner volume and a top supported by the base, the top defining an aperture. The exercise device further includes a force sensor configured to measure force on the top and a motor disposed within the base and below the top, the motor including a cable extendable through the aperture. The exercise device further includes a controller communicatively coupled to each of the force sensor and the motor. The controller is adapted to actuate the motor in response to forces applied to the top as measured by the force sensor. The controller may also actuate the motor in response to one or more additional parameters related to the speed or force with which the cable is manipulated (e.g., pulled by a user).

Pivoting weight arm assembly

A weight arm assembly for use with a weight lifting rack is provided, the weight arm assembly including a mounting bracket configured to be attached to a vertical surface in a fixed position, an arm mount configured to be coupled to the mounting bracket so as to be pivotable about a first axis, a stop member coupled to the arm mount and configured to move between an engaged position to prevent pivoting of the arm mount through interaction with the mounting bracket, and a disengaged position to allow pivoting of the arm mount, and a weight arm configured to be coupled to the arm mount, proximate a first end of the weight arm, so as to be pivotable about a second axis substantially orthogonal to the first axis.

DRAG GAIN STRUCTURE FOR GRAVITY WHEEL OF FITNESS EQUIPMENTS

A drag gain structure for the gravity wheel of fitness equipment includes an eccentric driving member disposed on the first side of the gravity wheel, which includes inner and outer side plate sections, and an interconnecting piece. The interconnecting piece is rotationally coupled to at least one of the plate sections. One end of outer side plate section is fitted over and fixed to the shaft, and one end of inner side plate section is connected to an eccentric position of gravity wheel through the first bias joint pin. A bearing pedestal is disposed on the second side of the gravity wheel, including a bearing screwed on the shaft, a pedestal shell fitted over the bearing and a radial protruding plate on the periphery of pedestal shell. The protruding end of the radial protruding plate is connected to an eccentric position of gravity wheel through the second bias joint pin.

Exercise Machine Reversible Resistance System

An exercise machine reversible resistance system for reversing the directional force of resistance against an exercise implement before, during, or after the performance of a routine of one or more exercises. The exercise machine reversible resistance system generally includes a frame, an elongated member movably positioned upon the frame, wherein the elongated member has a first run and a second run, a resistance device that applies a resistance force to the elongated member in a single direction, an exercise implement movably connected to the frame and a clutch connected to the exercise implement. The clutch is adapted to selectively engage the first run or the second run of the elongated member for selective control of the resistance direction of the exercise implement.

Exercise machine with lifting arm

An exercise machine has a main frame and a user support movably mounted relative to the main frame for movement between a start position and an end position during an exercise. At least one user engagement device is movably mounted relative to the main frame for engagement and actuation by a user during an exercise, and a connecting linkage translates movement of the user engagement device to movement of the user support. A lifting arm is movably mounted relative to the main frame and associated with at least one of the user support, user engagement device, and connecting linkage so as to move during an exercise. A load associated with the lifting arm provides exercise resistance.

MULTI-FUNCTION RESISTANCE TRAINING APPARATUS

The invention relates to a resistance training apparatus and more specifically, but not exclusively, to a mufti-function resistance training apparatus. The apparatus includes a primary unit, biasing unit, and accessory exchanger unit. The primary unit includes at least one resistance training member extending from the unit. The resistance training members are movable to adjust its height and is mechanically connected to biasing means which resists movement of the resistance training member. The biasing unit is removably attached to the primary unit by interlocking attachment members and provides the necessary bias to the primary unit. The accessory exchange unit may be used to exchange accessories for use with the resistance training member. The apparatus includes a plurality of actuators and motors to automate many of the functions of the apparatus from a remote device.
