Resistance harness
A resistance harness that allows 360 of resistance around the body. The strap design allows rings to slide from anterior to posterior or medial to lateral. The rings enable concentric, eccentric, or isometric resistance. This sliding ability allows for resistance to be constant in one direction or changeable. As the ring slides under tension, the muscular recruitment needed to resist will change as the force angle of the ring slides and changes position around the body.
Exercise grip
Exercise grip and methods of forming exercise grips are disclosed. In one aspect, an exercise grip includes a wrist strap and a protective portion. The protective portion has a palm end and a finger end. The palm end is located closer to the wrist strap than the finger end. The finger end is formed offset from a centerline axis of the palm end of the protective portion.
Exercise Apparatus
A piece of exercise equipment particularly for improved strength training exercises. More particularly, the invention relates to equipment that allows the user to vary tension when performing different exercises. The present invention is specifically designed for improved exercise through the variability of a tension component for use in such exercises as the plank exercise, sit-ups, push-ups and supine pull-ups that includes a core support, a guide arm, a head support, and a foot support that work in conjunction to most optimally support the user. The core support, the head support and the foot support are all connected, supported, and elevated from the floor by a central support system.
Methods and apparatus for body weight support system
A body weight support system includes a tether configured to be coupled to an attachment device worn by a user to couple the user to the body weight support system. A method of providing gait training includes defining a reference length of the tether when the attachment device is in an initial position and defining a threshold length of the tether. A first amount of body weight support is provided during the gait training as the user moves relative to a surface and the length of the tether is less than the threshold length. A second amount of body weight support is provided during the gait training as the user moves relative to the surface and the length of the tether is greater than the threshold length. The method further includes displaying data associated with the gait training on a display of an electronic device.
A Device for Sensing Force and Movement in an Action Performed by a Subject; A System and Method for Correcting the Force and Movement of the Action
The device comprises a belt (3) on which is mounted a first sensing module (4), with: a ) a hitch (6) for connecting a recovery component part (7) such as a spring; b) a first movement sensing unit (8) to detect 3D movement; c) a force sensing unit (9) to detect the force exerted by the recovery component part (7) upon the hitch (6); in which the movement and force data are processed and sent wirelessly via a data transmission unit (11); and d) first means of closure (13,14), to close the belt (3) to a required dimension. Allows simultaneous and coordinated consideration of force and movement data.
METHODS AND APPARATUS FOR BODY WEIGHT SUPPORT SYSTEM
A body weight support system includes a trolley, a powered conductor operatively coupled to a power supply, and a patient attachment mechanism. The trolley can include a drive system, a control system, and a patient support system. The drive system is movably coupled to a support rail. At least a portion of the control system is physically and electrically coupled to the powered conductor. The patient support mechanism is at least temporarily coupled to the patient attachment mechanism. The control system can control at least a portion of the patient support mechanism based at least in part on a force applied to the patient attachment mechanism.
Supplemental multi-purpose exercise strap
A supplemental multi-purpose exercise strap for customizing an exercise machine to accomplish a variety of exercises. The strap includes a center attachment member and a plurality of loop members. A first set of loop members is attached to the front of the strap and extend from the center of the strap towards the first end of the strap, while a second set of loop members is attached to the front of the strap and extend from the center of the strap towards the second end of the strap. The loop members are configured to accept a variety of exercise accessories and machines, which allows the strap to assist a user in accomplishing a wide variety of exercises.
Aquatic exercise device
A fin assembly for aqua resistance exercise comprises a strap having an inner strap and an outer strap, and with fastener(s) provided to an outside of the inner strap and an inside of the outer strap to releasably attach the inner and outer straps together. One or more fins are received on the outer strap and a longitudinal position of the one or more fins is secured by engagement of the inner strap to the outer strap. The length of the inner strap is longer than a length of the outer strap, so that an extending end portion of the outer strap can overlap and engage an opposite end of the outer strap to secure the fin assembly about the user's limb.
QUICK-RELEASE EXERCISE MINI BANDS
A quick release mini band system for exercise. The system includes an elongated elastomeric band having a first end and a second end. A connector system includes a first connector structure attached to the first end of the band and a second connector structure connected to the second end of the band. The first and second connector structures are configured to releasably attach to each other in a closed state in which the band and connector system provide a closed mini band configuration having a circumferential dimension selected to encircle one or more body parts to provide a desired resistance level for resisting movement of the one or more body parts in an exercise application, and wherein the first and second connector structures are configured for detachment from one another to facilitate removal of the band from the one or more body parts. A method of use is disclosed.
Exoskeleton system
An exoskeleton (100) system comprises at least one garment selected from the group consisting of a shirt or vest (110), short or pants (120), an upper arm sleeve (130), a lower arm sleeve (140), a thigh sleeve (150), and a leg sleeve (160) wherein the garment may be a multilayer construct that comprises an inner layer (201) of nylon material, a middle layer (202) made of neoprene, an outer layer (203) made of plush material; and an article (300) with attached hook and loop fasteners (301) to be mounted onto the garment by securing the hook and loop fasteners (301) onto any spots or locations of the outer layer (203).
