WEIGHTED GLUTE BRIDGE APPARATUS
An apparatus for use in performing a weighted glute bridge exercise. A back support contacts a user's back and a foot support contacts at least one of the user's feet, with each supporting a portion of the user's weight. A rigid elongate arm is mounted adjacent the back support at a pivot point. A hip bar is connected to the elongate arm and is configured to contact a user's hip region throughout the exercise. When the user moves from a hip flexed position to a hip extended position, the elongate arm moves from a first pivotal position to a second pivotal position. A resistance loading area connected to the elongate arm applies a resistance force directly onto the user's hip region that opposes the motion. Reversing the motion moves the elongate arm from the second pivotal position back to the first pivotal position and completes the repetition.
Portable and foldable gluteus maximus bridging and hip thrusting exercise apparatus
An apparatus that satisfies the need for a portable and foldable exercise equipment to perform glute bridge, hip thrust and other resistance band exercises without the need for additional equipment. The apparatus includes opposing panels hingedly connected, and accommodations to affix resistance bands to the panels. A cross member is preferably hingedly connected to one panel and extends through an opening and engages the other panel. A resistance band may include an adjustable belt so that a user may securely fasten himself or herself between the opposing panels and the resistance band to perform the glute bridge, hip thrust or other exercises.
Muscle trainer and method for the production thereof
Described herein is a muscle trainer including a first and a second curved, elongate spring element, the two spring elements being arranged with their concave sides facing each other, having joint elements at their respective end areas and being connected to each other at their two end areas via joints formed from the joint elements. Also described herein is a method for producing such a muscle trainer.
Exercise Device
Systems, methods and apparatus are provided through which in some implementations a multi member device with gage varying bands in a spaced arrangement that is symmetrical left to right and top to bottom.
FITNESS HAND-MUSCLE DEVELOPER
A fitness hand-muscle developer to solve the defects of too strong elasticity, high cost and single purpose in conventional hand-muscle developers, which is suitable for the elderly, the weakling or women to exercise hand muscles in various ways. The fitness hand-muscle developer comprises a main body, elastic, rod-like, defining a lengthwise direction; a band, with two opposite free ends, fixed to the main body in the lengthwise direction of the main body; and a holding space, located between the band and the surface of the main body.
Training devices and methods
The disclosure provides embodiments of a training device and related methods of use.
Medical Protective and Exercise Restraint Methods
Intended to prevent self-extubation of nasal or oral tubes of an awake patient who may reflexively attempt removal of such and allow the early mobilization and exercise necessary for preservation of as much muscle strength as possible, promotion of diaphragmatic motion necessary for liberation from a ventilator, reduction of patient stress allowing for sedation minimization and improved cognition for reduction of delirium and post-intensive care syndrome, and relief of medical staff and healthcare dollars to focus more on healthcare rather than on protection from self-harm.
Hip thrust exercise device
A hip thrust exercise device includes a main body; a foot mount connected to the first body portion; a grip connected to the second body portion; an extension hingedly connected to the main and an abutment element; and a resistance element connected between the extension and main body. The resistance element provides a resistance force when the abutment element is moved away from the first body portion.
METHOD FOR REDUCING TENSION IN MUSCLES OF THE HUMAN BODY BY NEUROHEMATOLOGIC DIVERSION
A method for relaxing muscles and reducing tension in a human body based on neurohematologic diversion (NHD) which intends to reverse the flows of the neurological and vascular systems to effect changes in the musculoskeletal system. Neurological diversion occurs by interrupting the central nervous system's (CNS) autonomic sympathetic neurological flow to muscles of the axial spine and extremities. Vascular diversion occurs as the participant performs contractions using a most minimal force level in axial or peripheral muscle groups, which are neurologically linked to those in the hands and face to promote the shunting of blood to said muscle groups. The method is termed as Low Motion Method (LMM) that enables the participant to use inherent physiological processes to relax muscles and remove muscular tension in the human body.
Back Stretching Device
A device for strengthening the back and upper body as well as decompressing the spine is adaptive to various seated positions and methods of manipulation. The device comprises a stabilizing base, and upper crossbar joined by a central resistance member such as a spring bar extending therebetween. A gripping member such as a first and second grip or handle placed on either side of the resistance member extend from the cross bar to transfer restoring forces stored in the resistance member upward from beneath a user's armpit or shoulder joint in a manner that passively stretches the spine upward. The device is optionally operative to enable isometric as well as dynamic exercises without requiring alteration of the device itself.
