SYMMETRIC UPRIGHT ROTATING DISC EXERCISE MACHINE
A symmetric upright rotating disc exercise machine includes a base unit and two upright rotating disc units. Each upright rotating disc unit includes a rotating shaft, an upright disc, and a grip. The rotating shaft is pivotally connected to the base unit in a horizontal direction. The upright disc is mounted to the rotating shaft. The upright discs of the two upright rotating disc units are arranged to face each other. The two upright rotating disc units are separated from each other by a distance in the horizontal direction to form an operation space. The grip is mounted to the upright disc and located in the operation space.
Body joystick for interacting with virtual reality or mixed reality machines or software applications
A system and method for using a body joystick to interact with a virtual or mixed-reality machines or software applications that uses a support arm to hold a device for attaching the body joystick to a user's body, a sensor for detecting movement, and a tether and actuator for providing feedback to the user about interactions with the virtual or mixed-reality machines or software applications.
Dual-turntable training device
A dual-turntable training device includes a base, two turntable units, and a resistance unit. Each turntable unit includes a rotating shaft, a turntable, and a grip. The rotating shaft is pivoted to the base. The turntable is secured to the rotating shaft. The two turntables of the two turntable units are horizontally arranged side by side. The grip is vertically disposed on the turntable. The resistance unit includes a control member and two resistance members. The control member is disposed on the base. The control member is connected to the two resistance members. The two resistance members correspond to the two turntables and are configured to apply rotation resistance to the two turntables. By operating the control member, the two resistance members are moved closer to or away from the two turntables for adjusting the rotation resistance.
Exercise machine and cross trainer
The present invention is directed, in part, to a system and methods for combining newly designed cardiovascular equipment with the added features of an upper body weight training regimen in order to provide a user a full body workout, cardiovascular exercise and weight training simultaneously. The invention does so by employing either a weight tray apparatus configured to newly designed cardiovascular equipment or machine or through the use of an adjustable weight training apparatus combined with the newly designed cardiovascular equipment or machine. More specifically, the present invention relates to a system and methods for combining newly designed cardiovascular equipment including stationary and recumbent bikes, elliptical machines, treadmills and stair steppers, with a tray apparatus that allows a user to employ free weights. The invention further relates to a system and methods for combining newly designed cardiovascular equipment including stationary and recumbent bikes, elliptical machines, treadmills and stair steppers that are configured with an adjustable weight training apparatus that allows a user to build upper body muscle groups simultaneously with cardiovascular exercise, in effect, providing a full body workout.
Functional core training device for the muscular and myofascial systems in the body
A muscle strengthening system is provided having a functional core endurance training device and a pair of rolling blocks for supporting the functional core endurance training device. Each rolling block in the pair of rolling blocks includes an elongated opening for receiving a wheel of the functional core endurance training device. Additionally, each rolling block in the pair of rolling blocks includes a pair of rollers, a stabilizer and a bumper guard for grounding the surface of the wheels of the functional core endurance training device allowing the wheels to spin with increased intensity. Optionally, an individual may utilize a stationary foot pedestal or a wheeled foot pedestal that provides for both the strengthening of the muscles of the individual while simultaneously stimulating an endurance building effect on the muscular and fascial systems of the body, all of which is achieved with minimal to no impact/pounding on the joints.
System and method for pole biking
A stationary bicycle is described having walking pole attachments for a pair of walking poles. The walking pole attachments are mechanisms that are attachable and mountable to one or more parts of a handlebar of a stationary bicycle in order to store the walking poles on the stationary bicycle. The walking poles can be mounted and stored vertically on either side of the handlebar of the stationary bicycle or can be mounted and stored horizontally on top of the handlebar of the stationary bicycle so as to be easily accessible to the user of the stationary bicycle while the user is seated on the stationary bicycle and is pedaling. Further, exercises are described that highlight various manners of exercising on the stationary bicycle while using the walking poles in a new form of exercise called pole-biking. Further, attachment mechanisms are attachable to the stationary bicycle for a resistance band.
Fitness system, fitness assembly arrangement and functional fitness elements
A suspension training based functional fitness element (11, 31) comprising: an essentially planar element (22) having an upper edge, a lower edge and two side edges, said planar element (22) being designed to form a pivotable connection to a support element (32) along said upper edge of the planar element (22), a first elongated element (23, 32, 52) connected to said planar element (22) at a first connection point at said lower edge of the planar element (22), a second elongated element (23, 32, 52) connected to said planar element (22) at a second connection point at said lower edge of the planar element (22), and a first and second handle (24), said first and second handle (24) being connected to said first and second elongated elements (23) respectively, whereby that said first and second connection points are arranged such that there is a horizontal offset between the first and second connection points and such that there is a vertical offset between the first connection point and the pivotable connection and a vertical offset between the second connection point and the pivotable connection.
Exercise apparatus
The present disclosure relates to an exercise apparatus. More particularly, the present disclosure relates to an apparatus operated by hand which comprises a base upon which extend frame supports for the seat unit, resistance unit, crank unit, and guide unit. Embodiments provide for a crank to be mounted to the base and frame and wherein the crank is connected to first and second actuating rods via a coupling. The actuating rods are slidably connected at one end via a guide pivotally mounted to the frame and have a free end for a user to grip.
