Rowing exercise assembly
A rowing exercise assembly includes a pair of elevation units that is each positionable at a selected point between a minimum elevation and a maximum elevation. A rowing machine is coupled between each of the elevation units thereby facilitating the rowing machine to be positionable at a variety of horizontal angles. In this way the elevation units enhance rowing exercises. A pair of cables is coupled to a resistance unit. A pair of handles is respectively coupled to the pair of cables and each of the handles may be gripped for performing the rowing exercises. A control is positioned proximate to the rowing machine and each of the elevation units is electrically coupled to the control. Moreover, the control actuates each of the elevation units to be positioned at the selected point between the minimum and maximum elevations.
Exercise machine
An exercise machine with a slidable carriage and accessories providing for a plurality of exerciser positioning surfaces and gripping handles. The exercise machine generally includes one or more lifting handles for raising or lowering either end of the exercise machine with respect to a ground surface. The exercise machine may also include a plurality of wheels each including a ridge adapted to engage with a corresponding groove in a track of the exercise machine. The exercise machine may also include a handle including a pair of arms which are positioned at a distance just greater than a width of the carriage.
Belt-based system for exercising muscles
Systems and methods are presented for performing exercises to strengthen, e.g., the transversus abdominis and related muscles. The systems and methods may involve one or more independent belts, allowing a full range of continuous motion. The systems and methods may further use a resistance-control mechanism that allows a user to adjust the force required to move the one or more belts, thereby controlling the rate of motion in the forward and/or backward directions. The systems and methods may further use a unidirectional resistance mechanism that allows the user to increase the resistance of the one or more belts in one direction, while allowing the one or more belts to move freely in the other direction.
BICYCLE SIMULATOR
A bicycle simulator includes a base portion having a frame shape; a frame support portion supported by the base portion and supporting a bicycle frame connecting a front wheel of a mounted bicycle to a rear wheel of the mounted bicycle; a first treadmill extending in a running direction of the bicycle, supporting the front wheel of the bicycle, and rotating according to rotation of the front wheel; and a second treadmill extending in the running direction of the bicycle, supporting the rear wheel of the bicycle, and rotating according to rotation of the rear wheel, wherein the frame support portion is disposed between the first treadmill and the second treadmill.
EXERCISE MACHINE ADJUSTMENT KIT AND METHODS OF USING THE SAME
The present invention provides exercise attachments for modifying an inclinable weightlifting system using a user's body weight. A pair of vertical support devices providing rigidity and elevate the weightlifting system off the ground to aid in a user mounting and dismounting the system. A pair of adapter arms enable a user to tailor exercise attachments to target specific muscle groups and specific regions of that muscle group. The pair of vertical support device and pair of adapter arms may be incorporated into an inclinable weightlifting system to enable a user to perform various rowing and bench press exercises.
MANUALLY POWERED TREADMILL
A manually powered treadmill includes a frame; a first rotatable element coupled to the frame; a second rotatable element coupled to the frame; a plurality of bearings coupled to the frame; a running belt at least partly supported by the plurality of bearings, where at least a portion of the running belt defines a curved running surface; and a safety device coupled to at least one of the first rotatable element and the second rotatable element. The safety device is structured to substantially prevent rotation of the at least one of the first rotatable element and the second rotatable element in a first rotational direction and permit rotation of the at least one of the first rotatable element and the second rotatable element in a second rotational direction opposite the first rotational direction.
MULTI-FUNCTION, COLLAPSIBLE EXERCISE APPARATUS FOR PERFORMING A GLUTEAL BRIDGE EXERCISE AND FLAT BENCH EXERCISES
A collapsible exercise apparatus is configured to allow a user to perform a gluteal bridge movement or flat bench exercises. In its ready to use position, the exercise apparatus allows a person to properly perform a gluteal bridge movement on a repeated basis. Resistance can be applied to the gluteal bridge movement where the resistance increases the amount of work to be performed by the person during the exercise. The exercise apparatus includes a frame assembly with a support member that extends from a lower frame member. A bench assembly is pivotally connected to the support member to provide an elevated pivot point about which the bench assembly pivots when a user performs the gluteal bridge movement. A stabilization assembly includes a front locking member operably connected to the frame assembly, a front retaining mechanism operably connected to the bench assembly, a rear locking mechanism operably connected to the frame assembly, and an upper retaining mechanism operably connected to the bench assembly. The front locking member, the front retaining mechanism, the rear locking mechanism, and the upper retaining mechanism are configured to place the bench in a flat bench position whereupon the user can perform various flat bench exercises. The exercise apparatus can also be placed in a low-profile, collapsed positon where the apparatus can be stored when not in use.
Height-Adjustable Seal Frame Structure for DAP Exercise System
A height-adjustable seal frame structure for a DAP exercise system has a seal frame, opposing lateral vertical lifts, and opposing lateral tensile restraints. The seal frame defines opposing lateral side restraint connectors and can be attached to an inflatable enclosure top portion about a user port. The vertical lifts can be attached at lateral sides of the system and a longitudinal position proximate the user port for vertically driving a carriage to adjust height. The first end each tensile restraint can securely attach to a lift carriage connector and the second end can securely attach to the corresponding restraint connector at a restraint length therebetween. In use, the seal frame can be retained in a floating arrangement forced upward solely by the enclosure top portion and restrained downward against the upward force at a seal frame height by the tensile restraints. Quick disconnects can permit manual seal frame release.
ADJUSTABLE ELLIPTICAL TRAINER
An adjustable elliptical trainer is disclosed, which includes a body, a sliding rail, a connecting piece and a movement mechanism. The sliding rail has one end rotatably connected to the body around an axis and other end detachably connected to the body by the connecting piece along a longitudinal extension direction of the sliding rail. The movement mechanism includes a sliding part matched with the sliding rail, and the sliding part is provided on the sliding rail and is slidable along the sliding rail. The axis is perpendicular to the longitudinal extension direction of the sliding rail, a first connection point is provided at a joint between the connecting piece and the sliding rail, and a second connection point is provided at a joint between the connecting piece and the body, the connecting piece is configured to be movable relative to the sliding rail and/or the body.
Exercise machine with adjustable platforms
An exercise machine with adjustable platforms for adjusting the angular orientation of one or more end platforms and/or carriage platform to allow for a wide range of exercise moves. The exercise machine includes a rail to which a carriage is movably connected and a first end platform connected to an end of the rail. The carriage includes a platform which may be adjusted between a level position in which the platform is laid flat and a raised position in which the platform is at an angular incline. The first end platform may similarly and independently be adjustable between the level position in which the first end platform is laid flat and a raised position in which the first end platform is at an angular incline. In some embodiments, the exercise machine may include a second end platform which is similarly adjustable between a level position and a raised position.
