Respiratory pressure training strap and using method thereof
A respiratory pressure training strap includes a waist-back support, two shoulder straps, a chest strap and a belly strap; wherein the waist-back support is a main body of the respiratory pressure training strap, an upper portion of the waist-back support is connected to first ends of the shoulder straps, and a lower portion of the waist-back support is connected to the belly strap as well as second ends of the shoulder straps; wherein two ends of the chest strap are respectively connected to a left shoulder strap and a right shoulder strap of the shoulder straps; wherein the belly strap laterally extends from the lower portion of the waist-back support; wherein respiratory pressure regulators are respectively arranged on the waist-back support, the chest strap, and the belly strap. The present invention can realize the respiratory posture correction for the user by the reverse pressures.
Exercise assisting tool and method for using exercise assisting tool
An exercise assist tool is used together with an exercise tool used in a supine or seated state, and the exercise assist tool includes a body-axis indicator that allows a user to be conscious of a body axis. The body-axis indicator has a longitudinal direction, and is supported such that the longitudinal direction can be disposed along a craniocaudal axis of the user. The body-axis indicator is a rod member supported so as to be disposed along a craniocaudal axis of the user. The body-axis indicator includes a proximal-side indicator provided in front of a face of the user, and a distal-side indicator provided farther from the user than the proximal-side indicator. The proximal-side indicator is configured to be capable of adjusting a distance from the user.
Method for measuring movement of cervical vertebra, device thereof and wearable apparatus
Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a method for measuring a movement of the cervical vertebra, a device thereof and a wearable apparatus. The method for measuring a movement of the cervical vertebra comprises: obtaining a movement angle of the cervical vertebra with a sensor; and calculating a movement amount of the cervical vertebra based on the movement angle of the cervical vertebra. Therefore, according to embodiments of the present disclosure, exact data values of the movement angles of the cervical vertebra can be acquired with the sensor, and the movement amount of the cervical vertebra can be calculated on the basis of this, thereby a quantitative value of the movement of the cervical vertebra can be acquired exactly in form of a numerical value, which is convenient for future processings.
Postural awareness apparatus
A postural awareness apparatus includes a pad, a signal producing system, and an activator that activates the signal producing system when a compressive force applied to the apparatus exceed a predetermined compressive force. The activator includes a switch having an upper portion, a compressible element having defined therein an opening, the compressible element at least partially surrounding the upper portion of the switch, and a cap adapted to secure the compressible element in a position at least partially surrounding the upper portion of the switch.
BODY MONITORING AND TRAINING DEVICE
A body movement feedback system including at least one position sensor operative to sense in real time at least relative positions of mutually articulated body portions of a user and to provide sensor outputs, a mutually articulated body portion position processor, receiving the sensor outputs of the at least one position sensor and providing processor outputs representing relative movements of the mutually articulated body portions and a real time user feedback generator operative to generate predetermined feedback to the user in response to predetermined selected movements of the mutually articulated body portions.
IMU system for assessing head and torso orientation during physical motion
A method and apparatus for monitoring the head and torso orientation of a subject during physical motion. The method and apparatus employ at least two inertial measurement units (IMUs) being temporally synchronized with each other and each measuring three degrees of freedom of angular velocity, acceleration, and optionally magnetic field. A first IMU being affixed to the head of the subject and the second IMU being affixed to the torso of the subject. The orientation of the head, the orientation of the torso, and optionally the relative orientation of the head and torso are calculated based on the data from the IMU's and optionally magnetometer data. The resultant output data is transmitted to a host device (computer, tablet, smart phone) and can be used for monitoring, training, coaching, worker safety and health, and/or rehabilitation.
Proprioceptive feedback assist device and associated method
A device for facilitating or enhancing proprioceptive feedback during breathing and related exercises includes a user attachment component attachable to a user about the thorax. Two elongate tensile members are connected at proximal ends to the user attachment component at points essentially just below the armpits of a user. These two elongate tensile members are connectable at their distal ends to the feet of the user. Another two tensile members are connected at their proximal ends to a back portion or strap of the harness and at their distal ends to or about the user's hands.
DANCE TRAINING DEVICE
A dance training device, including: a training unit; a measuring unit; and a connection rod. The training unit is connected to the measuring unit via the connection rod. The training unit includes a base, an elastic balancing plate, and a self-balancing airbag disposed between the elastic balancing plate and the base. The base includes an upper surface and a balancing trough disposed on the upper surface. The self-balancing airbag is located in the balancing trough. The measuring unit includes a first support frame, a second support frame, a third support frame, self-balancing universal wheel assemblies, and an angle measurement instrument. The second support frame and the third support frame are vertically disposed relative to the ground, and each includes a first end and a second end. Two ends of the first support frame are joined to the first ends of the second support frame and the third support frame, respectively.
MONITORING THE POSTURE OF A USER
Embodiments of the invention are directed to computer-implemented methods, computer systems, and computer program products for monitoring the ergonomics of a user. A non-limiting example method includes capturing a reference image of the user using an image capture device. The method further includes determining a first height of an object of interest of the user using the reference image of the user. The method further includes capturing a subsequent image of the user using the image capture device. The method further includes determining a second height of the object of interest of the user using the subsequent image of the user. Based at least in part on determining that the second height is not within a first tolerance of the first height, causing the issuance of a warning that the user is not within an optimal distance from the image capture device.
