Cooking apparatus and method of controlling the same
A method of controlling a cooking apparatus includes a cleaning process which includes controlling a temperature in a cooking chamber such that the temperature in the cooking chamber is maintained at a preset first temperature for a preset first time, and controlling a temperature in a cooking chamber such that the temperature in the cooking chamber is maintained at a preset second temperature higher than the first temperature for a preset second time.
COOKING APPARATUS AND CONTROL METHOD THEREOF
A cooking apparatus includes a case, a cooking chamber formed inside the case, a camera configured to obtain an image inside of the cooking chamber, a transparent member, a camera cooling fan configured to blow air toward the camera, a motor configured to rotate the camera cooling fan, and a controller to be electrically connected to the camera and the motor. The controller is configured to operate the camera to obtain a first image inside of the cooking chamber, configured to identify foreign substance-related information of a lens of the camera or the transparent member based on the first image, and configured to control an operation of the motor to perform a cleaning mode, in which the camera cooling fan is rotated at a first rotation speed for a first rotation time, based on the determining that the foreign substance is present.
ELECTRICAL HOUSEHOLD SYSTEM AND METHOD OF CONTROLLING AN ELECTRICAL HOUSEHOLD SYSTEM
A method of controlling an electrical household system, comprises: starting a pyrolysis process in an oven, wherein the oven is connected or configured to be connected in signal communication to a household range hood; starting a suction device of the household range hood as a function of a communication signal from the oven, wherein said signal is correlated to the pyrolysis process in the oven.

Countertop cooking system
A cooking system positionable on a support surface includes a housing having a hollow chamber including an internal cooking chamber for receiving a food item, at least one radiative heating element arranged within the hollow interior and operable to heat said cooking chamber and a convection heater disposed within the hollow chamber and operable to heat the cooking chamber. The cooking system is operable in a convection cooking mode and during the convection cooking mode, the at least one radiative heating element is selectively energized.
COOLING SYSTEM FOR A COOKING OVEN
The present invention relates to a cooling system (12) for a cooking oven (10). The cooling system (12) comprises a first air path including a first suction area (28), at least one first fan (20) and a first air guidance (48) of a blowing-out area (30) connected in series. The cooling system (12) comprises a second air path including a second suction area, at least one second fan (22) and a second air guidance (50) of the blowing-out area (30) connected in series. The first suction area (28) is connected to an oven cavity (14) of the cooking oven (10) via an vapour outlet (32), so that the first air path is provided for conveying moist air. The second suction area is connected to the environment of the cooking oven (10), so that the second air path is provided for conveying dry air.

Door latch detection with motor current analysis
Controlling a door latch of a cooking appliance is provided. A controller monitors motor current of a motor driving a door latch during a locking operation of a door of the cooking appliance. The controller deactivates the motor responsive to the motor current reaching a closed door threshold amount of current. The controller indicates the door being in a closed state responsive to the current draw over time matching a predefined current draw curve.
