Deep-embossed sump and heating element for an oven
A cooking appliance is provided having a cooking cavity with an opening defined at its base. The cooking appliance also includes a modular accessory that is reversibly receivable in said opening. The modular accessory defines a sump space that extends below the base of the cooking cavity through said opening. The modular accessory can be a modular sump; or it can be a steamer, a water-basin for steaming and/or sous-vide cooking, a holder for briquettes or wood chips used to smoke food, a plate-warming compartment, a pizza stone or a grill rack. The appliance can further include a heating element that extends outside and adjacent to a sidewall of said modular accessory, partially surrounding said modular accessory.
PROCESS AND APPARATUS FOR COOKING UTILIZING NEBULIZED WATER PARTICLES AND AIR
A process and apparatus for heating an oven using nebulized water particles and compressed air including the steps of heating water contained in reservoir that is located outside of a cooking chamber by transferring water within the reservoir through a water heater to reach a desired end point temperature that is less than boiling, heating compressed air by sending compressed air through an air heater that is submerged within the water of the reservoir, conveying the heated water and the heated compressed air to a nebulizer, nebulizing the heated water into heated water particles and introducing the heated water particles into the cooking chamber via the heated compressed air.
Heating cooker
By preheating temperature raising unit of a steam and hot water generating device beforehand to a predetermined temperature, and supplying water in an amount equal to or more than predetermined amount V (per unit time) to the temperature raising unit, a large amount of steam is instantaneously generated. At this time, hot water adhered to the temperature raising unit rises along with the steam, and the steam and hot water flowed through a steam hole, a relay tube, and a steam chamber are caused to eject instantaneously with accumulated steam pressure from a steam and hot water discharging port. The steam and hot water then hit and heat food products accommodated in a cooking chamber. Thus, a heating cooker capable of promptly heating a food product with steam can be provided.
COOKING APPLIANCE
A cooking appliance according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a case having a cooking chamber formed therein; a door for opening/closing a front opening of the case; a steam generation device mounted on the exterior of the case; and a steam supply pipe for connecting the steam generation device and the cooking chamber, wherein the steam generation device can comprise: a housing fixed to the case; a drawer provided so as to be able to be withdrawn from and put into the housing, and into which water for generating steam is filled; and a heating unit mounted on the lower surface of the drawer so as to heat the water filled inside the drawer.
Cooking Appliance for Commercial Kitchens Comprising a Fat Extraction Device, Fat Extraction Device and Method for Operating Such a Cooking Appliance with Fat Extraction
A cooking appliance for commercial kitchens has a fat collection device with at least one fat collection container, at least one fat extraction line, at least one suction pump and at least one fat discharge line. The fat extraction line extends from the fat collection container to the suction pump. The suction pump conveys a fat-water mixture via the fat extraction line into the fat discharge line. A cleaning device is provided which conveys water at least via the fat extraction line and the fat collection container into a cooking chamber outlet of the cooking appliance.
Appliance with removable panel
A movable panel assembly for an appliance includes a panel coupled to an appliance chassis via a cam mechanism, which is actuated by a stationary motor. The cam mechanism includes two parallel linkage portions, wherein each of the linkage portions are coupled to opposite ends of the panel. Each linkage portion includes a rack mounted to a sliding rail, which is translated by the motor via a gear engaging with the rack to move a plate. The plate includes a pin coupled to a cam follower, the pin being configured to translate within a channel disposed within a cam plate. The cam follower is configured to cause the panel to horizontally translate, pivot, and vertically translate relative to the chassis, thereby facilitating access to a component housing unit disposed behind the panel when the panel assembly is in a closed configuration.
Heating cooker
Cooking is performed to serve tasty food by appropriately managing moisture of an object to be cooked without burning the surface thereof. A box-shaped housing, a cooking cavity for accommodating an object to be cooked, the cooking cavity being arranged within the housing, an upper-face heater and a lower-face heater arranged in the cooking cavity, a boiler arranged within the cooking cavity, a water tray formed outside the cooking cavity and into which a given amount of water that is entirely evaporated in a given steaming time is poured, a water guide passage within the housing, the water guide passage into which water is supplied from the water tray to the boiler; and a control unit for causing an operation to generate steam from the boiler to be performed for at least a steaming time from when cooking starts are provided.
PUMP ASSEMBLY AND COOKING APPLIANCE WITH PUMP ASSEMBLY
A pump assembly and a cooking appliance having a pump assembly are provided. The pump assembly may include a cavity that defines a cooking cavity; a water supplier installed outside of the cavity; a connection pipe connected to the water supplier; and a pump assembly disposed outside of the cavity and connected to the connection pipe. The pump assembly may includes at least one pump; and a support made of a flexible material and coupling the at least one pump to an upper surface of the cavity.
STEAM GENERATOR AND COOKING APPARATUS INCLUDING STEAM GENERATOR
A steam generator and a cooking apparatus including a steam generator are provided. The steam generator may include a heater, an inflow tube, a steam generation tube, and a discharge tube and an adaptor unit connected to the steam generator may be provided. The inflow tube and the discharge tube and the discharge tube may be connected at a predetermined angle to the adaptor unit. Thus, the steam generation tube connecting the inflow tube to the discharge tube may also be inclined.
CALIBRATING AN OXYGEN SENSOR OF A DOMESTIC APPLIANCE
A method for calibrating an oxygen sensor of a household appliance includes a calibration process which is automatically started when at least one status parameter of the household appliance has at least reached a predetermined threshold value. The household appliance can be a steam cooking appliance, and the oxygen sensor can be a lambda probe.
