A kitchen workspace and a method of organizing a kitchen workspace is set forth. The kitchen workspace is consolidated into a small footprint area with automated vertical storage shelves for storing and housing kitchen items and kitchen appliances. The automated storage shelves may be provided with electrical power for powering kitchen appliances found on the shelves. Kitchen appliances may be rotated around the automated storage shelves while the appliances are being used. One or more food cooking devices above a sink are able to be moved while being fixed to a kitchen wall.

A drop-in cooking device for installation into an opening in a fixture, including a housing configured to be mounted in the opening in the fixture, a heating element positioned in the housing, and a cover attachable to the housing adjacent the heating element, the cover comprising a thermally insulating material and having a collapsible portion, wherein the collapsible portion of the cover has a working configuration in which the cover has a first height and a storage configuration in which the cover has a second height, the second height being less than the first height.

A drop-in cooking device for installation into an opening in a fixture, including a housing configured to be mounted in the opening in the fixture, a heating element positioned in the housing, and a cover attachable to the housing adjacent the heating element, the cover comprising a thermally insulating material and having a collapsible portion, wherein the collapsible portion of the cover has a working configuration in which the cover has a first height and a storage configuration in which the cover has a second height, the second height being less than the first height.

An outdoor cooking station with a main body extending to define an upper portion and a lower portion, the lower portion configured to receive an insulated insert. The upper portion including heating elements supported by frame components of the cooking station and one or more heat shields suspended below the heating elements acting as a barrier to substantially prevent heat from reaching the lower portion of the main body. The lower portion of the main body defining a first storage space and a second storage space, the second storage space positioned below the first storage space, the second storage space exhibiting a drawer structure. The insulated insert is sized and configured to be removably positioned within the second storage space, the insulated insert defining a cubical type external structure to define a hollow space therein, the hollow space accessible through a lid member of the insulated insert.

The present disclosure belongs to the field of kitchen equipment, and in particular relates to a cooking device. The cooking device of the present disclosure includes a cabinet and an installation bracket. A cooking chamber is formed in the cabinet, and the installation bracket is detachably connected to the cabinet. A fan assembly is arranged on the installation bracket, and a fume exhaust duct that communicates with the fan assembly is arranged in the installation bracket or in the cabinet. According to the cooking device of the present disclosure, the cabinet and the fan assembly are arranged separately, the fan assembly is arranged on the installation bracket, and a fume exhaust duct that communicates with the fan assembly is arranged inside the installation bracket.
