THREADED ANCHOR FOR ICE CLIMBING
A threaded anchor for ice climbing, comprising: —a screw with a cylindrical tubular body, a number of cutting teeth, a rearward perimetric protruding threaded section; —a clamp disposed exteriorly with regard to the screw and comprising an operating component, displaceable between: a locked position, where the tightening of the clamp and the fixing thereof at any point along the length of the screw is established, and an unlocked position, enabling the turning of the clamp with regard to the screw and the positioning of the clamp at any point along the length of said screw; —a folded strap attached by its first end to the clamp and presenting at its second end a closed loop for the mounting of a carabiner suited for the hitching of the climbing rope in its position of use or of a harness of the climber in an inoperative position.
Ice Screw Assembly
An ice screw assembly includes a screw that has a head and a shaft. The shaft has a threaded portion and an unthreaded portion and the threaded portion penetrates ice for securing the screw into the ice. A first washer is secured around the screw and the first washer is positioned on the unthreaded portion of the shaft to abut the ice when the screw is threaded into the ice. A second washer is movably positioned around the screw and the second washer is positioned between the first washer and the head. The second washer has an opening extending through the second washer thereby facilitating an anchoring line of an ice shack to be attached to the second washer to secure the ice shack to the ice.

Power ice screw system and methods of use
A power ice screw system including an ice screw and screw adapter configured to engage the ice screw, thus enabling use of a power drill to install the ice screw in an ice feature, is described. The ice screw includes a drive head configured to engage the screw adapter. The screw adapter includes clearing ports that enable the adapter to expel ice that enters the adapter from within the ice screw hollow core. The ice screw core extends through the drive head to permit ice to flow through the ice screw and into the adapter. A cutting member resides within the screw adapter, typically disposed between two clearing ports. The cutting member can be flanked by two flanges configured to direct ice that has been disrupted by the cutting member outwardly through the clearing ports. The power drill is typically a lightweight battery powered electric driver.
