The present disclosure relates generally to air intake filter assemblies, and more particularly to air intake assemblies for an outdoor portion of a heating, ventilation, and/or air conditioning (HVAC) system. In an embodiment, a filter assembly is configured to filter an airflow entering an air intake of a HVAC unit. The filter assembly includes a first layer of a first coarse mesh, a second layer of a second coarse mesh, and a fine filter disposed between the first layer and the second layer. Additionally, the fine filter includes an upper level and a lower level with respect to the airflow, and wherein the lower level facilitates accumulation of fine debris captured from the airflow entering the air intake of the HVAC unit.

A filter cleaning device for an air conditioner includes: a casing; a filter that is disposed in the casing and through which an air flow passes; a cleaning brush that is contactable with the filter surface and removes particulate matter from the filter surface; and a dust box that receives the particulate matter, and includes a housing accommodating the cleaning brush and having an opening through which the cleaning brush protrudes to contact a filter surface, a suction tool that includes an outlet in the housing to communicate with the dust box, and applies a suction force to the dust box to remove the particulate matter from the dust box; and a lid that is movable between first and second positions, and closes the opening of the housing in the second position when the suction force is applied.

The detachable protective cover is provided to facilitate washing and protect the housing. The emission assembly and the collection assembly are detachably mounted in the protective cover, so that they can be separately cleaned.

The filter structure includes a circular rim part; a frame, extending from the rim part, for installing a motor; a dust collection net attached to the frame; a brush which is in close contact with the dust collection net and is rotated by the motor; an opening, formed at a lower end of the rim part, for discharging dust; an open part formed at one side of the dust collection net; and a concave groove part having an outside coupled to the open part and in one-side communication with the opening at the rim part.

This application discloses a filtering system, an air conditioning system that includes the filtering system, and a cleaning method for a filtering system. An example filtering system includes a total liquid inlet, a total liquid outlet, a first Y-shaped strainer, and a second Y-shaped strainer. The first Y-shaped strainer includes a first liquid flow port, a second liquid flow port, and a first drainage port. The first liquid flow port is connected to the total liquid inlet by using a first pipeline, the second liquid flow port is connected to the total liquid outlet by using a second pipeline, and the first drainage port is connected to a first waste liquid area by using a third pipeline. The second Y-shaped strainer includes a third liquid flow port, a fourth liquid flow port, and a second drainage port, the third liquid flow port is connected to the total liquid inlet by using a fourth pipeline.
