The ejector-diffuser is positioned to receive a flow of the conditioned air from the ventilation system. The ejector-diffuser includes an induction unit and a diffuser section. The induction unit includes a secondary inlet in communication with a cabin air from a passenger cabin and is configured to mix the flow of the conditioned air with an induced flow of the cabin air into a mixed air. The diffuser section includes a discharge to eject the mixed air to the passenger cabin. The diffuser section is shaped to provide for efficient mixing with low backpressure in order to maintain the low motive pressure in the nozzle.
Power supply and method to deter mold
An apparatus and method to deter mold growth on the interior surfaces of buildings. The apparatus is a corded and plugged power supply with adjustable temperature and humidity sensors, logic circuitry, and split duplex receptacles. The method employs the apparatus, a portable heater, an array of portable fans, and catchments containing a hygroscopic substance such as calcium chloride. One receptacle controls the heater. The other receptacle controls the fans. There are three operative states: a heat-on/fans-on state at low temperature, a heat-off/fans-on state at high temperature and high humidity, and an idle state at high temperature and low humidity. The catchments capture water vapor circulated by the fans.
Controlling drying conditions to maintain humidity levels during HVAC operation
An air conditioner is provided. The air conditioner includes a heat exchange module, at least one humidity sensor, and a controller. The heat exchange module includes a compressor, a first heat exchanger, an expansion valve, a second heat exchanger, and an absorbent disposed on an outer surface of the first and second heat exchangers. The controller is configured to control to stop a normal operation and perform a drying operation for supplying air to any one of the first and second heat exchangers serving as an evaporator when it is determined that a predetermined drying operation condition is satisfied based on humidity information of air passed through the any one of the first and second heat exchangers serving as the evaporator, during the normal operation in which the any one of the first and second heat exchangers serves as an evaporator and the other serves as a condenser.
Bedding climate control apparatus and method to operate thereof with a programmable application from a wireless network
An apparatus and method to selectively create a heat transfer effect and sensation of cooling within bedding on a mattress. A programmable application is accessible on a wireless network and is programmed to provide appropriate settings to attain changes over time of a space within bedding that pertain to at least one of heating the space and realizing a cooling sensation within the space. A wireless receiver is configured to receive commands in a wireless manner that are indicative of the appropriate settings provided by the programmable application to effect changes over time of the space within the bedding attributed to heat transfer with respect to the at least one of heating the space and realizing a cooling sensation within the space. The heat transfer occurs as a result of fluid flow either within a mattress or within space in bedding over the mattress.
Ventilation system
A ventilation system includes a first ventilation device, a second ventilation device, a sensor, and an electronic controller. The first ventilation device includes a first fan. The second ventilation device includes a second fan. The sensor is attached to the first ventilation device. The sensor is configured to detect a state of air and to transmit a detection signal indicative of the detected state of air. The electronic controller is configured to receive the detection signal of the sensor and to control the first ventilation device and the second ventilation device based on the detection signal.
CONTROL SYSTEM FOR A HEATING, VENTILATION, AND AIR-CONDITIONING SYSTEM
A control system for a HVAC system for a structure and including a blower that flows air over an indoor heat exchanger. The control system may include a first input device, a first sensor, and a processor in electronic communication with the first input device, the first sensor, and the blower of the HVAC system. The first input device may be operable to accept a zoning mode selection. The first sensor may be sensor operable to measure a first temperature at a first location within the structure. The processor may be programmed to determine a cooling or heating demand on the HVAC system based on an input temperature and the first measured temperature. The processor may be further programmed to adjust an air flow rate produced by the blower based on the demand on the HVAC system and the zoning mode selection.
Method and a system for monitoring items
Aspects of the invention are directed towards a system and a method for monitoring one or more items. One or more embodiments of the invention describe the method comprising steps of receiving, from a device, information of sensed parameter(s) of one or more items. The one or more items placed inside a container. The method further describes steps of determining, by a first server, an anomaly associated with the one or more items based on the information of the sensed parameter(s). The method also describes steps of communicating the determined anomaly to a second server, wherein the second server determines an action for the anomaly and communicates the action to the container for rectifying the anomaly.
