Freon Refilling Apparatus for Vehicles
A Freon refilling apparatus for vehicles comprises an outer shell and a tube fitting. The tube fitting is secured to a refilling duct, and one end of the tube fitting has a connection port. The apparatus also comprises an operating handle and a pushrod. One end of the operating handle is hinged to the tube fitting, and the other end is a press part. When the press part swings and gets close to the tube fitting, it drives the pushrod to move and open the gas cylinder. A confining plate is also hinged to the press part. The confining plate has an active contact part, while the outer shell has a passive contact part. The active contact part can lean against the passive contact part. The operating handle is locked when that happens.

DEVICE FOR FILLING VEHICLE AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEMS WITH COOLANT R744
The invention relates to a device for filling vehicle air conditioning systems with refrigerant R744 in such a manner that it allows the calculation of mass deviations in line sections during filling with the refrigerant R744. An adapter hose assembly is configured such that it is segmented, wherein segmentation takes place by inserting several pairs of respectively separate temperature and pressure sensors for determining the respective density of the refrigerant in the adapter hose assembly. The device comprises a mass calculator for controlling the filling valve in accordance with a central correction calculation based on different density deviations determined using the pairs of respectively separate temperature and pressure sensors and also using the parameters of the mass measurement provided by the mass flow meter.
Integral service refrigerant pump
A chiller system is provided and includes a chiller, a lubrication assembly and a controller. The chiller includes a compressor, a condenser, an expansion assembly and an evaporator in fluid communication with one another. The lubrication assembly is operably coupled to the compressor, the condenser and the evaporator and is formed to define first-third pathways via a three-way valve and a fourth pathway. The first pathway is configured for pumping refrigerant through the chiller, the second pathway is configured for pre-storing refrigerant in the chiller, the third pathway is configured for removing refrigerant from the chiller and the fourth pathway is configured for charging refrigerant into the chiller. The controller is configured to control the lubrication assembly to selectively engage one of the first-fourth pathways.
Composition and use of vinylidene fluoride and blends thereof
The present technology relates to compositional blends that can be used as refrigerants, and more specifically to blends of vinylidene fluoride and at least one other component for use in very low temperature applications. In at least some examples, the second component can be selected from the group consisting of carbon dioxide and pentafluoroethane. Further, the compositions can be azeotropic or azeotrope-like.
Refrigerant-amount determining method and refrigerant-amount determining device
In a refrigeration apparatus including a refrigerant circuit in which a refrigerant in a gas-liquid two-phase state flows through a liquid-side connection pipe, a refrigerant-amount determining method and a refrigerant-amount determining device capable of grasping an appropriate refrigerant charging amount corresponding to the length of the connection pipe is provided. Provided is a refrigerant-amount determining method for a refrigerant to be charged to a refrigeration apparatus including a refrigerant circuit in which a compressor, an outdoor heat exchanger that functions as a condenser, an outdoor expansion valve, indoor heat exchangers that function as evaporators, a liquid-side connection pipe that feeds the refrigerant, which has passed through the outdoor heat exchanger and then has been decompressed by the outdoor expansion valve, to each of the indoor heat exchangers, and a gas-side connection pipe that feeds the refrigerant, which has passed through each of the indoor heat exchangers, to a suction side of the compressor, are connected to one another. The method determines a refrigerant amount of the refrigerant to be charged to the refrigerant circuit such that a refrigerant amount per unit length of the liquid-side connection pipe increases as a length of the liquid-side connection pipe is larger.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR RECOVERING COOLANT GAS IN AN AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM
A method and corresponding system for extracting an unsuitable and/or unknown and/or contaminated coolant gas from an air conditioning system. An existing coolant fluid recovery/charging machine is used in order to extract the heat required to cool said containment element of the coolant to be extracted or extracted.
Air conditioner self-charging and charge monitoring system
A method for determining a level of refrigerant charge in a vapor compression system having a compressor, a condenser, an expansion device and an evaporator operatively connected in serial relationship in a refrigerant flow circuit having a refrigerant, includes receiving information indicative of at least one of a compressor torque or compressor current; and determining whether the refrigerant charge is within a defined tolerance or whether the refrigerant is to be added or recovered in response to the receiving of the information.
Apparatus and method for recovering and regenerating a refrigerant from an A/C plant
An apparatus for recovering refrigerant from an air conditioning system includes an evaporator arranged to receive the refrigerant from the air conditioning system and to separate it from impurities present in it, obtaining purified refrigerant, a compressor for circulating the purified refrigerant, a condenser, and a storage container arranged to contain the condensed refrigerant. The storage container defines a storage chamber arranged to contain a liquid phase of the refrigerant and a gaseous phase including a vapor component of the refrigerant and an air component. The apparatus also includes a measuring means configured to measure operating parameters of the refrigerant present in the storage chamber, purge device arranged at a purge opening configured to purge the gaseous phase present in the storage chamber responsive to the operating parameters, and at least one first separation chamber connected to the storage container.
