SYSTEM AND METHODS FOR VIBRATION CONTROL
A system for vibration control of a cryocooler that cools an imager. The system includes a vibration sensor that is physically affixed to the cryocooler. The vibration sensor senses a physical vibration of the cryocooler and to generates a vibration signal therefrom. The system also includes cryocooler drive electronics operatively coupled to the vibration sensor and the cryocooler. The cryocooler drive electronics output a drive waveform that drives the cryocooler so as to reduce the vibration impact of the cryocooler. The harmonic content of the cryocooler drive waveform is controlled by the cryocooler drive electronics based on the vibration signal.
COOLING DEVICE, COMPRISING A CRYOSTAT AND A COLD HEAD HAVING IMPROVED DECOUPLING TO A COOLING SYSTEM
A cooling device (1) has a cryostat (2) and a cold head (3) of a cooling system (52), and additionally includes a pivot bearing (35), with which the cold head (3) is mounted on the cryostat (2) so as to be rotatable about a rotation axis (A). A connecting line (15) for a working gas of the cooling system (52) is connected to the cold head so that forces caused by the cooling system (52) act on the cold head via the connecting line (15) at a force application point (EP) in a force application direction (ER). The force application direction (ER) is inclined by no more than 40° with respect to the normal (N) of a lever plane (HE) which contains the rotation axis (A) and the force application point (EP).
ICE STORAGE UNIT
An ice storage unit including a housing defining an interior portion and a heat exchange engine disposed within the interior portion, the heat exchange engine defining a thermal exchange element extending therefrom. A thermally conductive coupling element defining an aperture is sized to receive the thermal exchange element therein. A thermally conductive reservoir is disposed proximate the thermally conductive coupling element.
Expansion valve with vibration proof spring
An expansion valve includes: a body having an insertion hole in a partition separating a first passage from a second passage; a power element configured to generate a drive force for opening or closing a valve section; a shaft extending through the insertion hole and configured to transmit the drive force to a valve element; a vibration-proof spring coaxially supporting the shaft and biasing the shaft radially inward to apply a sliding resistance thereto; and a flexible O-ring supported by one of an inner surface of the support part defining the insertion hole and an outer surface of the shaft and being in close contact with the other thereof. The O-ring, sliding portions of the shaft and the support part, and the vibration-proof spring are arranged in this order from a first passage side toward a second passage side in an axial direction of the shaft.
ABSORBING DEVICE AND METHOD FOR ITS PRODUCTION
The absorbing device includes a hollow enclosed chamber including two pot parts. Open ends of the pot parts are connectable to each other by welding or soldering. Each of the pot parts is integrally formed in an opposing end of an air-conditioning conduit, wherein open ends of the pot parts are oriented toward each other. Each of the pot parts is provided with a reduced passage opening interconnected with an internal space of the air-conditioning conduit via a tapered section.
OPTICAL TABLE
The invention relates to a coolable optical table with a table top and at least three table legs. Securing means for securing objects such as optical elements are provided in a table surface of the table top. The table legs are equipped with a damping device for damping vibrations.
ACCUMULATOR
An accumulator to separates gas refrigerant and liquid refrigerant. The accumulator includes a casing, and a resonance-suppressing member installed in an internal space of the casing. The casing has a cylinder portion having a cylinder axis extending along a vertical direction, an upper lid portion linked with an upper end of the cylinder portion, and a lower lid portion linked with a lower end of the cylinder portion. The resonance-suppressing member is installed at a height position that, in a case in which a standing wave of pressure having a first antinode, a node, and a second antinode from the upper lid portion toward the lower lid portion is generated in the internal space, is near a height position of at least one of the first antinode and the second antinode.
REFRIGERATION SYSTEM AND CONTROL METHOD THEREFOR
Refrigeration systems and control methods therefor are described. The refrigeration systems include a main circuit to connect, through a pipeline, a multi-stage compressor, a condenser, an economizer, a main throttling element, and an evaporator. An air supply branch is configured to connect to the air outlet of the economizer and the intermediate stage air inlet of the multi-stage compressor. A liquid injection branch is configured to connect to the intermediate stage air inlet of the multi-stage compressor from a section having a high-pressure liquid-phase refrigerant in the main circuit. Through the design of the liquid injection branch, the liquid-phase refrigerant can be introduced when vibration or noise of the unit exceeds a limit. The liquid-phase refrigerant, in the form of droplets, can effectively absorb the sound wave energy in the compressor pipeline to reduce an overall discharge pulsation of the compressor and reduce the noise and vibration of the condenser.
Air conditioner
An air conditioner includes an outdoor heat exchanger configured to exchange heat between a refrigerant and outdoor air; an indoor heat exchanger configured to exchange heat between the refrigerant and indoor air; a first pipe configured to provide a channel for the refrigerant flowing out of the outdoor heat exchanger and having a first inner diameter; a second pipe configured to provide a channel for the refrigerant flowing into the indoor heat exchanger; a coupling member configured to couple end portions of the first pipe and the second pipe; and a first insertion pipe inserted in the second pipe at the end portion of the second pipe and having a second inner diameter smaller than the first inner diameter of the first pipe.
EVAPORATOR BOX FAN MOUNTING SOLUTION
A fan assembly for a refrigeration appliance includes a fan for circulating air within a compartment of the refrigeration appliance. The fan includes a frame. A housing is provided for mounting the fan. The housing includes a plate with an opening extending through the plate. A plurality of walls extends from a surface of the plate. A first retaining member extends in a direction generally parallel to a surface of the plate and is disposed proximate the opening for hindering movement of the fan in a direction generally perpendicular to a surface of the plate. The plurality of walls and the first retaining member define a pocket for receiving the frame. A vibration damping member is provided for allowing the fan to vibrate relative to the housing and for hindering the transmission of vibrations from the fan to the housing.
