Refrigerator
A refrigerator may include an ice container, a discharge unit, which is provided at the ice container and has an outlet through which ice cubes are discharged, an ice discharging unit, which is provided in the ice container in a manner of rotatable in forward and reverse directions so as to selectively discharge ice cubes, which move thereinto by their own weight, in an uncrushed state or a crushed state, a first ice agglomeration blocking member, which is disposed over the ice discharging unit and is rotated by rotation of the ice discharging unit, and a second ice agglomeration blocking member, which is disposed over the ice discharging unit and is rotated by rotation of the first ice agglomeration blocking member, and which is coupled at a portion thereof to the first ice agglomeration blocking member and at another portion thereof to the ice container.
REFRIGERATOR
An ice making device in a refrigerator including light sensors to detect an ice level in the ice bucket. An ice level sensing unit is positioned lower than an upper edge of the ice bucket and thus can detect ice level even when the ice bucket is not completely full. The ice level sensing unit includes one or more pairs of light emitting sensor and light receiving sensor. When ice in the ice bucket accumulates to a detectable level, the amount of light emitted from the light emitting sensor and received by the light receiving sensor can be blocked accordingly.
ICE-AND-WATER DISPENSER
An ice-and-water dispenser to be integrated into a refrigeration appliance includes a main subassembly having a dispenser bay, a passage for ice, a water outlet and a switch to be actuated by an object held in the dispenser bay. A decorative element which contributes to or determines the appearance of the ice-and-water dispenser in a mounted state, can be mounted on the main subassembly in various models. A refrigeration appliance including an ice-and-water dispenser is also provided.
ICE-MAKING DEVICE FOR REFRIGERATOR AND REFRIGERATOR INCLUDING THE SAME
A refrigerator having an ice-making device evaporator in addition to a refrigerator storage room evaporator. The ice-making device includes an ice tray and a cooling pipe contacting an outer surface of the ice tray. A refrigerant flows in the cooling pipe and directly cools the ice tray. The ice-making device evaporator receives the refrigerant from a condenser and supplies it to the cooling pipe. A heat insulation member wraps around the cooling pipe and can prevent the cooling pipe from exchanging heat with ambient air.
ICE MAKER AIR FLOW RIBS
A refrigeration appliance includes a freezer compartment for storing food items. An ice maker is disposed within the freezer compartment and includes a removable ice bin having an internal cavity. A front cover closes a front open end of the ice bin. The front cover includes a front face oriented toward a front of the freezer compartment, a rear face, and a recess formed in the rear face. The rear face of the front cover is disposed adjacent to a horizontal edge portion of the ice maker when the removable ice bin is disposed within the ice maker wherein the recess defines a gap between the front cover and the horizontal edge portion that fluidly communicates with the internal cavity of the removable ice bin. A plurality of ribs is disposed within the gap for directing air exiting the internal cavity of the removable ice bin into a predetermined direction.
Refrigerated merchandiser with removable floor
A refrigerated merchandiser includes a refrigerated insulated cabinet having a front wall that is hingedly attached to the cabinet. The front wall is rotatable between a closed position covering a storage area in the cabinet and an open position permitting access to the storage area. An opening is provided in the front wall to permit merchandise to be removed from the storage area when the front wall is in the closed position. Adjusting the front wall to the open position permits pallets loaded with merchandise, including ice bags, to be loaded into the merchandiser with a wheeled lifting device such as a forklift or hand jack. The bottom wall of the merchandiser may be removable, such that the entire floor supporting the pallet may be removed and exchanged through the opened front wall. A roller may be provided on the front wall to help in adjusting the front wall between the open and closed positions.

Refrigerator
A structure of an ice making compartment of a side by side type refrigerator to enhance ice making efficiency and to reduce energy consumption. The ice making compartment may be separately provided between a refrigerating compartment and a freezing compartment and be insulated from the refrigerating compartment and the freezing compartment. A portion of a refrigerant pipe is inserted into the inside of the ice making compartment so as to directly cool down the ice making compartment. A front opening of the ice making compartment can be closed by an ice bucket, and the ice bucket can be inserted into or drawn from the ice making compartment with being accessible without opening a refrigerating compartment door and a freezing compartment door.
Ice maker for refrigerator and manufacturing method for the same
An ice maker for refrigerator includes a case that encloses and protects a cooling space into which cold air is supplied, an ice making assembly for making ice using cold air supplied to the cooling space, an ice bucket for containing the ice made by the ice making assembly in the cooling space, and a cold air ventilation path for guiding cold air to flow along the outer circumferential surface of the ice bucket in the cooling space.
ICE MAKER AND REFRIGERATOR HAVING THE SAME
In an ice maker according to the present disclosure, transporter configured to supply ice to a dispenser, at least a part of which is located above an ice bucket located in the middle of the main body, may transport the ice upward to help the user take the ice conveniently even with the ice bucket located in the middle of the main body. So a refrigerator including the ice maker, according to the present disclosure, includes a storeroom to store groceries with increased utilization of the storeroom.
