Meat-aging apparatus, meat-aging method thereof, and meat-aging system and refrigerator
A meat-aging apparatus is disclosed. The meat-aging apparatus comprises: a photographing unit for photographing meat stored in the meat-aging apparatus; an illumination unit for irradiating light to the meat; a storage unit for storing recipe information for aging the meat according to the type or state of the meat; and a processor for determining the type or state of the meat on the basis of a photographed image, and controlling the illumination unit to irradiate light to the meat according to the recipe information corresponding to the determined type or state of the meat in order to age the meat.
Glass front door with embedded user interface
A refrigeration appliance includes a cabinet defining a food storage compartment being at least partially closeable by a door-in-door assembly including an inner door sealing against the cabinet and an outer door sealing against the inner door. The inner door has an opening extending therethrough in communication with the compartment when the inner door is closed. The outer door includes a window extending therethrough being covered at an inner side by an inner pane of glass and at an outer side by an outer pane of glass covering a majority of a front of the outer door to provide the effect of a full glass door. A user interface (UI) is disposed in the outer door and is configured to control appliance features upon selective user contact with the outer pane. The door assembly includes a light element for illuminating at least one of the outer pane and the compartment.
ILLUMINATED SHELF ASSEMBLIES
A shelf assembly for an enclosure includes a shelf panel and side brackets coupled to the shelf panel along respective lateral portions thereof. Each of the side brackets have a rear coupling portion configured to mount to structure of the enclosure. One or more light sources are mounted and electrically coupled to one of the side brackets and a connection between one or both of the side brackets and the structure of the enclosure is configured to provide power to illuminate the one or more light sources
ILLUMINATED SHELF ASSEMBLIES
A shelf assembly for an enclosure includes a shelf panel having an upper surface, a lower surface, and an edge extending between the upper and lower surfaces. The edge includes front, rear, and side edges. A light housing is coupled to the shelf panel and includes one or more walls defining an interior. The light housing includes front, rear, and side portions disposed adjacent to the front, rear, and side edges of the shelf panel, respectively. A plurality of light sources received within the light housing to project light outwardly therefrom.
METHOD OF OPERATING A LIGHTING ASSEMBLY IN A REFRIGERATOR APPLIANCE
A refrigerator appliance includes a chilled chamber defining a plurality of cooling zones and a lighting assembly comprising a plurality of lighting zones corresponding to the plurality of cooling zones. A climate control system generates and selectively directs a flow of cooling air into the plurality of cooling zones such that the temperature in each zone is independently regulated and the lighting assembly selectively illuminates the plurality of lighting zones to provide user feedback regarding the operation of the climate control system, e.g., by indicating which zones are receiving the flow of cooling air, by notifying a user when a zone has reached a setpoint temperature, or by identifying the presence and location of a flow restriction.
WALL PANEL FOR AN APPLIANCE
A refrigerator includes a cabinet with a plurality of walls and a compartment area for storing food within the cabinet. A door is configured to seal the compartment area. A refrigeration component is disposed within the cabinet. A wall panel is positioned within the cabinet and includes a three-dimensional molded surface with non-uniformly spaced peaks and valleys and a lighting structure. The wall panel extends from a lower end of the compartment area to an upper end of the compartment area. The wall panel separates the compartment area from the refrigeration component and is coextensive with one of the plurality of walls of the cabinet.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR MONITORING REFRIGERATION SYSTEMS
A system includes a door sensor that provides a status of whether a door of a refrigeration system is open or closed, a temperature sensor that measures a temperature of a food compartment of the refrigeration system, a power sensor that measures an amount of power consumed by the refrigeration system, and a compressor sensor that provides acoustic data about a compressor of the refrigeration system. The system further includes a remote computing system configured to send an alert indicating that the refrigeration system needs servicing when the temperature of the food compartment of the refrigeration system is determined to be above a predetermined temperature while: the door of the refrigeration system is closed, the amount of power consumed by the refrigeration system is within a predetermined power range, and acoustic signals of the compressor of the refrigeration system are within a predetermined acoustic range.
Electronic apparatus and controlling method thereof
Disclosed herein is an electronic apparatus and method capable of identifying a state of an object. The electronic apparatus includes a light-emitting diode array configured to transmit light beams having different wavelengths, a photodiode array configured to receive the light beams, a display, and a processor configured to control the light-emitting diode array to transmit the light beams having the different wavelengths toward an object, identify a state of the object based on intensities reflected on the object according to the light beams having the different wavelengths that are received by the photodiode array, and display information about the state of the object on the display.
Refrigerator
A refrigerator includes a cabinet and a door configured to open and close a storage space of the cabinet. The door includes an outer plate defining a plate opening, a door liner defining a liner opening, a panel assembly configured to shield the plate opening and the liner opening. The panel assembly includes a first display through which the inside thereof is visible, and a screen is output, a second display disposed at a position that is spaced apart from the first display, and a frame provided between the outer plate and the door liner. The frame includes a first mounting part that mounts the panel assembly, a second mounting part that mounts the second display, and a wire guide part that connects the first mounting part to the second mounting part and accommodates a wire connected to the second display.
A SMART MINI BAR SYSTEM AND METHOD THEREOF
