Refrigeration unit temperature alarm using thermal properties of food to eliminate false alarms
A temperature sensing system for refrigeration and related methodology. The system has a refrigeration unit containing one or more food products, a temperature sensor disposed in the refrigeration unit. The temperature sensor is in communication with a remote computing device that is configured to calculate thermal data pertaining to said one or more food products. The remote computing device in communication with a temperature monitor that receives real-time temperature information from the temperature sensor. The monitor includes an alarm function that is activated if temperature inside said refrigeration unit causes a rise of the actual product temperature above a specified threshold such as 41° F. while noting the time remaining to return the product temperature to a safe level within the government specified 4 hour limit.
REFRIGERATION APPLIANCE WITH MOVABLE FRONT PANEL
An appliance body of a refrigeration appliance can be closed off in its upper part by at least one door and receives a drawer in its lower part. The drawer can be locked in the closed position by a latch, which engages into a fitting part that supports the door.
AIR PURIFIER FOR REFRIGERATOR
A refrigerator and an air purifier for a refrigerator are provided. The air purifier may include a case configured to be mounted on an upper surface of a cabinet of a refrigerator and in which inlet holes and an outlet hole are formed, a plurality of fan motor assemblies provided inside of the case to force a flow of air, a plurality of filter assemblies mounted in the case to partition a space between the inlet holes and the plurality of fan motor assemblies and purify suctioned air, a controller that controls driving of the plurality of fan motor assemblies, and a gas sensor connected to the controller to detect harmful gas in a kitchen space. The controller may control driving of the plurality of fan motor assemblies through detection of the harmful gas by the gas sensor.
EXTREMELY FAST FREEZING, LOW-TEMPERATURE BLAST FREEZER
A freezer includes a plurality of shelves in an insulated payload bay; a plurality of evaporators coupled to the payload bay with a multiplicity of coolant tubes in each evaporator, wherein each tube enters and then exits the payload bay, further comprising one or more cryogenic valves coupled to the coolant tubes; a pump to force coolant flowing through the evaporators with a pressure of at least 90 psi to supply the coolant at each evaporator with at least 20 gallons per hour of coolant; and a plurality of fans to circulate cooled air in the payload bay.
SELF-POWERED, LONG-TERM, LOW-TEMPERATURE, CONTROLLED SHIPPING UNIT
A shipping vessel includes a cryogenic tank secured to the shipping foundation; a payload bay to receive products therein; a tube connected to the cryogenic tank and thermally coupled to the payload bay; a housing secured to the shipping foundation, said housing covering the tube and the payload bay to thermally seal the payload bay from outside environment; a controller mounted on the housing and having a sensor to determine temperature in a closed-loop and maintaining a set point within a predetermined range; and an energy storage device coupled to the controller and electronics to provide power for a predetermined shipping period.
Metal Touch Sensing Apparatus, And Home Appliance Having Metal Touch Sensing Apparatus And Method For Controlling The Same
Provided is a metal touch sensing apparatus in which recognition performance thereof is improved, a plurality of touch parts are successively manipulated to enter into a specific mode, thereby preventing a refrigerator from being malfunctioned, and touch sensitivity of the refrigerator to be touched for the manipulation is visually adjusted, and a home appliance including the touch apparatus and a method for controlling the same.
APPARATUS FOR CONTROLLING REFRIGERATOR, REFRIGERATOR AND METHOD FOR DIAGNOSING FAULT OF REFRIGERATOR
An apparatus for controlling a refrigerator, and a method for diagnosing a fault of the refrigerator are presented. More specifically, a power consumption of a refrigerator may be measured, and a fault of a plurality of loads included in the refrigerator may be diagnosed based on the measured power consumption. Accordingly, all of the plurality of loads included in the refrigerator may be diagnosed whether they have a fault or not. Further, among the plurality of loads included in the refrigerator, one or more loads having feedback uncontrollable may be diagnosed whether they have a fault of not.
Refrigerator Locking System
A refrigerator locking system is used to secure the doors of a refrigerator in closed or open positions. The system includes at least one anchor bar, a locking bracket, a door block and a refrigerator. The refrigerator includes a frame, at least one refrigerator door and a freezer door. The anchor bar is mounted to the frame in between the refrigerator door and the freezer door. The locking bracket is connected adjacent to the frame and is engaged with to the door block to secure the refrigerator door and the freezer door. The door block can be used to press the refrigerator door and the freezer door against the frame, keeping the refrigerator closed. Alternatively, the door block can be positioned in between the frame and both the refrigerator door and the freezer door to keep the refrigerator open.
REFRIGERATOR FOR ENTRANCE GATE
A controller for a refrigerator for an entrance gate according to an embodiment of the present invention is configured to: register a user authentication means through a user authentication method setting process; and to open an outer door only when user authentication has succeeded, if an article delivery command is input, thereby preventing theft of the article.
