WALL PANEL FOR AN APPLIANCE
A wall panel for an appliance is disclosed. The wall panel includes a substantially planar surface disposed within the interior of an appliance and extending the full height and width of an appliance wall. The wall panel may be disposed between the appliance cabinet structure and the internal storage structures, such as shelves, drawers and the like, to create a fully integrated appearance. In addition, the wall panel may serve to hide refrigeration components such as air vents, internal refrigeration coils, or water lines. In some cases, the surface of the wall panel is a three-dimensional molded pattern to provide structure and create a perception of greater depth within a compartment of the appliance. In other cases, the wall panel is a lighted panel that activates when a user interacts with the appliance.
Refrigerator casing with a mitered front corner joint
A refrigerator appliance includes a cabinet that defines a chilled chamber. The cabinet has an outer casing with a first front flange and a second front flange. The first and second front flanges are connected at a mitered joint. Each of the first and second front flanges has a tab extending into the outer casing. The tabs of the first and second front flanges are plastically deformed together at the mitered joint.
METALLIC TRIM BREAKER FOR A REFRIGERATING APPLIANCE HAVING A THERMAL BRIDGE GEOMETRY
A structural cabinet for an appliance includes an inner liner that defines an interior compartment, an outer wrapper and a metallic trim breaker that is attached to each of the inner liner and the outer wrapper. The metallic trim breaker includes a plurality of undulating formations that extend an effective length of the trim breaker between the inner liner and the outer wrapper.
REFRIGERATION APPLIANCE APPARATUS AND DOMESTIC REFRIGERATION APPLIANCE
In order to provide a generic apparatus with improved properties with regard to an operating convenience, a refrigeration appliance apparatus, in particular a domestic refrigeration appliance apparatus, is provided. The apparatus has an inner liner with at least one sidewall. A water-dispensing unit is disposed on the sidewall of the inner liner. At least one faceplate unit, which in a mounted state thereof, at least largely covers the water-dispensing unit. The faceplate unit has an opening. The water-dispensing unit has at least one dispensing region and at least one guiding unit configured to guide water. The guiding unit, in an installed position, is disposed in a cover region of the dispensing region. The water-dispensing unit has an actuating unit with at least one actuating element provided to start a water removal. The actuating unit has an operating element to start water removal. The water-dispensing unit has a cover that covers the operating element.
FOLDABLE DOOR FOR REFRIGERATOR
A foldable door for a refrigerator appliance comprises: a first door hingedly connected to one end of a refrigerator body and configured to open and close one open surface of the refrigerator body; a second door foldably connected to the first door so as to open and close the other open surface of the refrigerator body; and a locking unit configured to selectively fold or affix the first door with respect to the second door. A fixing unit is configured to fix the locking unit against movement thereof, wherein the fixing unit comprises: a fixing portion disposed on the reinforcing bar; and an electromagnetic portion configured to generate an electromagnetic attraction force acting on the fixing portion when electric power is applied to the electromagnetic portion.
REFRIGERATOR
A refrigerator includes a storage compartment, a door, an air outlet, an imaging unit, and a determination unit. The storage compartment has a storage region that stores a stored object. The door opens and closes the storage compartment. The air outlet is provided in a rear wall of the storage region and blows cold air into the storage region. The imaging unit is provided at an inner side of the door at a position higher than or equal to a height of the air outlet and acquires an image of the storage region from the door. The determination unit determines an arrangement state of the stored object stored in the storage region based on the image acquired by the imaging unit.
METHOD OF MANUFACTURING AN ENCLOSURE FOR A TRANSPORT REFRIGERATION UNIT, TRANSPORT REFRIGERATION UNIT AND TRANSPORT UNIT
A method of manufacturing a transport refrigeration unit is provided. The method includes providing an enclosure including an outer layer and a supporter. Providing the enclosure includes supplying one of a first material and a second material to a mold. This also includes supplying the other of the first material and the second material on the one of the first material and the second material that is supplied to the mold. Also, this includes curing the first material and the second material integrally that are supplied to the mold. The first material forms into the outer layer and the second material forms into the supporter. The second material includes a plurality of reinforcing fibers.
REINFORCEMENT ASSEMBLY FOR AN INSULATED STRUCTURE
An appliance includes a vacuum insulated structure that defines a first compartment and a second compartment with a trim breaker proximate the first and second compartments. A mullion extends between the first compartment and the second compartment. A reinforcement assembly is disposed between the vacuum insulated structure and the trim breaker. The reinforcement assembly includes a perimeter frame disposed on a peripheral edge of the first compartment and the second compartment and a central plate proximate the mullion. Attachment plates extend orthogonally from the central plate and connect the perimeter frame with the central plate. At least one door is hingedly coupled to the vacuum insulated structure.
Wall panel for an appliance
A refrigerator includes a cabinet with a plurality of walls and a compartment area for storing food within the cabinet. A door is configured to seal the compartment area. A refrigeration component is disposed within the cabinet. A wall panel is positioned within the cabinet and includes a three-dimensional molded surface with non-uniformly spaced peaks and valleys and a lighting structure. The wall panel extends from a lower end of the compartment area to an upper end of the compartment area. The wall panel separates the compartment area from the refrigeration component and is coextensive with one of the plurality of walls of the cabinet.
Controlled Temperature Unit and Related Systems
A controlled temperature unit is disclosed herein. The various components of the controlled temperature unit allow the unit to control temperature and collect or manage temperature data in a novel and unique manner to fulfill an unmet need. The controlled temperature unit may be equipped with multiple temperature probes, and data generated by these probes may be managed by a process control unit housed within the wall of the controlled temperature unit. The process control unit may then be operable to display temperature related data on a visual display attached to one of the exterior walls of the controlled temperature unit. The scope of the present disclosure extends to all mechanical and electrically automated engineering features that may extend the lifespan of the validated state of a CTU.
