Retractable soft-close shelf system and assemblies for use with appliance are provided. Shelf assembly includes a fixed shelf with a guide defining a support surface and a movable shelf slidably mounted to the fixed shelf. Movable shelf can be moved between an extended and a retracted position Support surface can include a front portion and a rear portion. Front portion is positioned at a first guide angle and rear portion is positioned at a second guide angle. Movable shelf includes a front boss and a rear boss on opposite sides of the movable shelf. Front and rear bosses are received within the guide and are slidably supported by the support surface. Shelf assembly includes a striker extending from the bottom of the movable shelf and a soft close mechanism. Soft close mechanism is configured to engage the striker when rear boss contacts the rear portion of the support surface.

A shelf assembly, in particular for a domestic cooling device, includes a receiving plate having a front plate edge, a rear plate edge and two lateral plate edges, and a holding strut on at least one of the lateral plate edges for supporting the receiving plate. The holding strut has in the region of a rear strut end at least one hook structure for fitting the holding strut into a mounting opening of a carrying structure. At a distance beneath the hook structure, the holding strut forms a first support structure for support on a front side, facing the strut, of the carrying structure. The holding strut, in the region of the rear strut end, at a distance above the first support structure, provides a resiliently deflectable second support structure for support on the front side, facing the strut, of the carrying structure.

The front panel (34) of the main drawer (30) comprises an insert opening (36), and the secondary drawer (40) is inserted into the main drawer (30) through said insert opening (36).

The drawer cover includes a partition part configured to partition the drawer storage space into the front space and the rear space, and a cover part that extends from an upper end of the partition part to a rear end of the drawer part to cover a top of the rear space of the drawer storage space.

The door restriction device is configured to restrict the opening movement of the upper door based on the lower door being opened, and to allow the opening movement of the upper door based on the lower door being closed.

The cantilever arm is resiliently deformable away from a plane defined along the first side of the track. The assembly further includes an insert slidably received within the track and moveable along the depth of the first track through a fixed range of motion, wherein the insert is disposed over an expanse of the first open area.
