A refrigerator cabinet including a first shelf defining a U-shape, wherein the U-shape is off-center so that a first side of the U-shape is wider than the an opposite, second side of the U-shape, a second U-shaped shelf having left, right and back portions located in a horizontal fashion above the first shelf, and a mounting structure for supporting the first and second U-shaped shelves.

A shelf assembly includes a rotating hinge body rotatably coupled to a stationary hinge body, and a shelf fixed to the rotating hinge body that is rotatable with the rotating hinge body relative to the stationary hinge body about a rotational axis. The shelf is rotatable between first and second positions. Moreover, the shelf assembly includes a cam assembly configured to inhibit rotation of the shelf between its first and second positions. The cam assembly includes a cam fixed to one of the stationary hinge body and rotating hinge body, a cam follower movably attached to the other of the stationary hinge body and rotating hinge body, and a biasing member that biases the cam follower into engagement with the cam. The rotatable shelf includes a glass panel having an upper surface with a plurality of edge portions. At least one of the edge portions is exposed.

A household cooling appliance has a housing with a receiving space for food. A shelf bottom device is non-destructively releasably positioned in the receiving space. The shelf bottom device has a plate-like shelf bottom and a carrier unit that is separate therefrom. The carrier unit is connected with the shelf bottom and is configured for retention of the shelf bottom device in the receiving space. The shelf bottom device has at least one receiving element with a hollow space, which is arranged on the shelf bottom. In the mounted final state, the carrier unit is introduced at least partly in the hollow space.

The shelf bottom device has a plate-like shelf bottom and a carrier unit that is separate therefrom. In the mounted final state, the carrier unit is introduced at least partly in the hollow space.

A refrigerator includes a refrigerated compartment, at least one door that selectively seals the refrigerated compartment and a cold plate shelf assembly mounted in the refrigerated compartment. The shelf assembly includes a front trim, a rear trim and a first plate directly coupled to the front trim and the rear trim. A second plate extends from the front trim to the rear trim, the second plate being positioned so that a food item supported on the shelf assembly contacts the second plate. The second plate is made from a material having a higher thermal conductivity than glass. In one arrangement, the refrigerator further includes an air duct having an air vent. Air exiting the air duct through the air vent either impinges on and travels across the second plate or enters an interior of the shelf assembly.

The present invention provides a shelf, comprising a shelf plate and a wine rack connected to the shelf plate pivotally and rotating between a folded position close to the shelf plate and an unfolded position apart from the shelf plate, wherein the shelf further comprises a rotary assembly connected with the shelf plate and the wine rack and enabling the wine rack to have at least two unfolded positions, such that the angle and a height at which the wine rack is fixed may be regulated as required, thereby meeting requirements of placing the wine bottles and beverage bottles of different sizes, and increasing universality and flexibility of application of the shelf.

A refrigerator shelf includes a support frame having left and right sideplate brackets and at least a first cross-bar extending between and attached to the sideplate brackets. A shelf panel is supported on the support frame in contact with the left and right sideplate brackets and above the first cross-bar. The shelf panel has top and bottom surfaces, left and right edges, and front and rear edges. A first trim and retention feature is attached to a selected edge of the front or rear edge of the shelf panel and mounts the shelf panel to the support frame. The first trim and retention feature includes first and second trim components cooperatively securing the selected edge of the shelf panel to the support frame. The first trim component extends across a width of the shelf panel between the left and right edges and includes a mounting feature disposed adjacent to the selected edge of the shelf panel and a securing arm extending from the mounting feature adjacent to the bottom surface of the shelf panel and coupled to the support frame. The second trim component is removably attached to the mounting feature of the first trim component and includes a flange portion extending above and in contact with the top surface of the shelf panel.

A refrigerator appliance includes a an insulated cabinet defining a chilled food storage chamber within an interior thereof. An illuminated chamber is defined within the cabinet and is optically separated from the chilled food storage chamber by a wall of the chilled food storage chamber. At least one light source is positioned to emit light into the illuminated chamber. A shelf is selectively mountable in one of a plurality of positions within the food storage chamber. The shelf includes a light-transmitting body. The light-transmitting body of the shelf is in optical communication with the illuminated chamber when the shelf is mounted within the food storage chamber, such that light from the light source of the illuminated chamber travels through the light-transmitting body. As a result, an edge of the shelf is illuminated by the light.

A refrigerator includes a main body, a storage chamber formed in the main body, a shelf support portion provided at a rear side of the storage chamber, a plurality of shelves coupled to the shelf support portion so that the shelves are arranged next to each other, and an adjustment member coupled to the shelves so as to remove a height difference between the plurality of shelves. Coupling grooves are respectively formed in the shelves. The adjustment member is inserted into the coupling holes of the shelves and then rotates by a predetermined angle such that the adjustment member is fixed to the shelves. The adjustment member maintains a constant interval between the shelves and prevents the shelves from moving relative to each other. The adjustment member is easily coupled to and separated from others.
