REFRIGERATOR AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF
A refrigerator and a manufacturing method thereof including processes of separately manufacturing partitions dividing a storage space into a plurality of storage chambers from a main body including an inner casing and an outer casing, coupling the partitions to an inner surface of the inner casing, filling a space between the inner casing and the partitions with an insulator, and filling the partitions with the insulator by filling a space between the inner casing and the outer casing with the insulator. Since the insulator uniformly fills the partitions dividing the storage space into the plurality of storage chambers, the partitions may possess improved insulating qualities.
REFRIGERATOR AND DRAWER-TYPE DOOR FOR REFRIGERATOR
A refrigerator includes a drawer-type door with a vertical adjustment unit. The drawer-type door includes a front cover for a storage compartment, a support frame coupled to the back side of the cover and operable to slide along a rail, a storage container coupled to the support frame and a vertical adjustment unit configured to adjust a vertical position of the cover. The vertical adjustment unit includes a knob rotatably coupled to the support frame via a rotary screw and comprising a plurality of cam surfaces with different distances from the rotary screw. The cover's vertical position varies with the knob's rotational position. As a user rotates the knob to a predetermined rotational position, a stopper disposed on the cover can retain the knob's position through contact with one of the cam surfaces. Thereby the cover is adjusted to a new height.
REFRIGERATOR APPLIANCE WITH DUAL FREEZER COMPARTMENTS
A refrigerator appliance is provided including a freezer chamber divided into a first compartment and a second compartment by a removable mullion. A refrigeration system includes a single evaporator coil having a first evaporator section in series with a second evaporator section. The first evaporator section is positioned in the first freezer compartment to maintain the temperature in that compartment at a fixed, low temperature (e.g., 0 F.). The second evaporator section is positioned in the second freezer compartment which is a convertible compartment capable of maintaining temperatures between the freezer and fresh food compartment temperatures (e.g., between about 0 F. and 37 F.).
Refrigerator
A refrigerator may include a cabinet and a drinkable liquid dispensing system. The cabinet may include chilled cavity, insulation surrounding the chilled cavity, and a door by which the chilled cavity is opened and closed. The chilled cavity may include a reservoir configured to store liquid provided thereto from an external liquid source for chilling in the chilled cavity. The drinkable liquid dispensing system may include dispenser tubing and a liquid dispenser. The dispenser tubing may be configured to transport the chilled liquid from the reservoir to the liquid dispenser. An insulated portion of the dispenser tubing may be positioned between the chilled cavity and the insulation. The liquid dispenser may be positioned within the door and configured to dispense the chilled liquid transported thereto by the dispenser tubing upon request.
Indoor unit of air-conditioning apparatus and air-conditioning apparatus
An indoor unit of an air-conditioning apparatus including a body placed on a wall surface of a room that is an air-conditioned space, the indoor unit including a temperature sensor disposed at a position projecting from the body, and including a temperature detector that detects a temperature based on heat radiation from a target and a motor that causes the temperature detector to rotate, the position being a place where the temperature sensor is capable of detecting a temperature in all the horizontal directions by rotating the temperature detector.
Universal and flexible cooling module set (CMS) configuration and architecture
A refrigerator is provided that includes at least one freezer compartment and at least one refrigerator compartment, wherein the freezer compartment and the refrigerator compartment are defined by a plurality of interior surfaces. The refrigerator further includes a cooling module set (CMS) removably attached to at least one of the plurality of interior surfaces, wherein the CMS is configured to operate in any orientation of a plurality of orientations, and the CMS is further configured to be repositionable with respect to the plurality of interior surfaces to alter a shape of at least one of the refrigerator compartment and the freezer compartment.
COOLER DIVIDER
A device for dividing an interior chamber of a cooler into a plurality of separate chambers that prevents fluid flow between the plurality of chambers is provided. The system has a dividing wall that is insertable into the interior chamber of the cooler. A waterproof seal is positioned around the outer surfaces of the dividing wall. The seal has an inflatable inner tube such that when the inner tube is inflated, the seal is urged into contact with walls of the interior chamber to form a fluid-tight seal that prevents fluid flow from a first side of the dividing wall to a second side of the dividing wall.
Appliance modular system for incorporating a pantry compartment within an appliance
A refrigerating appliance includes an interior volume divided by a medial wall into refrigerating and freezing compartments. A horizontal false mullion extends through one of the compartments, parallel with the medial wall to define a pantry compartment in thermal communication with at least one of the refrigerating and freezing compartments. A center vertical mullion is removably engaged with the medial wall and divides the pantry compartment into first and second pantry sub compartments. First and second outer drawer glides are positioned on the cabinet structure within the pantry compartment and opposite first and second inner drawer glides of the center vertical mullion. The first inner and first outer drawer glides partially define the first pantry sub compartment. The second inner and second outer drawer glides partially define the second pantry sub compartment. First and second pantry drawers are slidably engaged with first and second pantry sub compartments, respectively.
HOUSEHOLD REFRIGERATION APPLIANCE WITH A DOOR STOP BAR HAVING A HEATING LINE THERMALLY COUPLED THERETO BY A HEAT CONDUCTING TRANSMISSION MEDIUM
A household refrigeration appliance has a housing in which there is embodied a receiving space for foodstuffs, a first door and a second door separate therefrom. The doors closing a front-side receiving opening of the receiving space to the front. A door stop bar is disposed externally to the doors which is arranged in the receiving opening and is connected by a first end to a first boundary wall and by a second end to a second boundary wall. Wherein in the closed state the doors abut against the door stop bar on the front side, and have a frame heating which is arranged on the door stop bar for the purpose of heating the door stop bar. A heating line of the frame heating is arranged behind a front panel of the door stop bar and is thermally coupled to the front panel by the heat-conducting transmission medium.
REFRIGERATOR WITH EASY ACCESS DRAWER
A bottom mount refrigerator is provided with a pantry compartment that is accessible from outside the refrigerator by pulling open an easy access pantry drawer without the need to first open the fresh food compartment or the freezer compartment. A divider between the pantry compartment and the fresh food compartment is formed by a secondary mullion and a transparent shelf. The secondary mullion is provided with a light source for illuminating the contents of the pantry drawer. A light source at the rear of the pantry compartment shines generally forwardly and upwardly to illuminate the fresh food compartment.
