POTABLE BEVERAGE TEMPERATURE CONTROL DEVICE
A potable beverage temperature control device including a cooling plate, a first vessel, and a second vessel. Where the cooling plate includes a body, a plate coupled to the body, the plate having an upper surface, a leading edge, and a trailing edge opposite the leading edge, a refrigeration device in fluid communication with the plate and configured to change the temperature of the upper surface of the plate, and a controller in operable communication with the refrigeration device. The temperature control device also includes a first vessel having one or more nozzles in fluid communication with a reservoir configured to dispense the beverage on the upper surface of the plate proximate the leading edge. The temperature control device also includes a second vessel configured to receive beverage flowing off the trailing edge of the plate.
Perishable Storage Unit with Means for Sanitizing Food Stuffs
A perishable storage unit with means for sanitizing food stuffs having a sanitization unit. The storage unit provides a storage body, a door, and a cooling system, wherein the cooling system is integrated with the storage body to maintain a cooling temperature when the door is in a closed position. The sanitization unit includes a light assembly and a switch, wherein the switch is integrated with a peripheral edge of the storage unit such that the door engages the switch when in the closed position. The light assembly is configured to emit sterilizing wavelengths of light, such as ultraviolet light, and is operably coupled to the switch, such that when the door is actuated from an open position to the closed position, the light assembly is switched from an off state to an on state.
LOCKER SYSTEM
A temperature controlled storage apparatus 8(10), comprising; a plurality of lockable storage spaces, each of the plurality of lockable storage spaces comprising one or more compartments; in which the temperature of each of the one or more compartments is independently controllable to provide either one of: chilled temperature; or frozen temperature; and wherein access to the storage space is remotely programmable.
REFRIGERATOR AND METHOD OF CONTROLLING THE SAME
Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to refrigerators and methods of controlling the refrigerators. The refrigerator comprises a compressor configured to operate at a first rotation speed and a controller configured to calculate a first average of levels of electric signals input to the compressor during a first reference period, and control the compressor to operate at a second rotation speed higher than the first rotation speed when the first average is greater than a first reference value.
REFRIGERATOR CONTROL METHOD
In a refrigerator control method according to an embodiment of the present invention, an operation corresponding to a deep-freezing chamber load, in which both a refrigeration chamber valve and a freezer chamber valve are opened, is performed when a deep-freezing chamber mode is turned on and the input condition of the operation corresponding to a deep-freezing chamber load is satisfied.
METHOD FOR CONTROLLING REFRIGERATOR
A method for controlling a refrigerator according to an embodiment of the present invention is characterized by comprising: a step for determining whether a deep-freezing chamber mode is ON; and a step for determining whether a deep-freezing chamber load response operation input condition is satisfied, wherein when a cold chamber is determined to be operating at the time the deep-freezing chamber load response operation input condition is satisfied, the cold chamber operation is terminated and a deep-freezing chamber load response operation is performed.
Refrigerator
A refrigerator includes a cabinet configured to be formed with a first storage chamber and a second storage chamber, a first door configured to open and close the first storage chamber, a second door configured to open and close the second storage chamber, a first cooler and a heater configured to adjust the temperature of the first storage chamber, a second cooler configured to adjust a temperature of the second storage chamber, and a controller configured to perform a general operation of the first storage chamber in preference to door load response operation of the second storage chamber, of the general operation of adjusting the temperature of the first storage chamber and the door load response operation of the second storage chamber.
TWO-PHASE INDICATOR DEVICE FOR IDENTIFYING DEFROST
A defrost or thaw measuring device has a dumbbell or hourglass-shaped rotatable compartment with a cavity, the cavity being partly filled with at least two phase change materials having different melting points. The measuring device may determine the time period of thawing at two or more temperature intervals in the refrigeration space.
Refrigerator and method for controlling the same
A method of controlling a refrigerator may include operating a first cooling cycle for a first storage compartment to drive a compressor and operating a first cooling fan for cooling the first storage compartment, and switching to a second cooling cycle for cooling a second storage compartment to drive the compressor and operating a second cooling fan for cooling the second storage compartment when a stop condition of the first cooling cycle is satisfied. The method may also include switching to a third cooling cycle for cooling the first storage compartment to drive the compressor and operating the first cooling fan when a stop condition of the second cooling cycle is satisfied.
METHOD FOR CONTROLLING REFRIGERATOR
A method for controlling a refrigerator according to an embodiment of the present invention is characterized in that, when the temperature of a freezing chamber is in a satisfactory temperature range, and a deep-freezing chamber mode is turned on such that a deep-freezing chamber cooling operation is being performed, the refrigerator is controlled to perform a cold air sagging prevention operation in which a fan of the freezing chamber repeatedly starts and stops at regular intervals.
