Panel assembly, refrigerator, and home appliances
The present invention provides a panel assembly, a refrigerator, and home appliances. The panel assembly of the present invention comprises: a first panel formed of a glass material; a second panel spaced apart from the first panel and formed of a glass material; a plurality of spacers provided between the first panel and the second panel so as to maintain a gap between the first panel and the second panel, and arranged to be spaced apart from each other; a sealing member disposed between the first panel and the second panel for sealing a space between the first panel and the second panel; an exhaust hole provided in at least one of the first panel and the second panel so as to discharge air such that the space between the first panel and the second panel becomes a vacuum insulation space; and a cover member covering the exhaust hole.
Cold storage box and cold storage box management system
A cold storage box is provided that allows individual confirmation that stored objects such as medicine, food, and beverages have been managed at an appropriate temperature. The cold storage box 1 includes: a storage part which can house stored objects; a lid part which covers an opening part of the storage part; and a cooling device which cools the storage part, and the cold storage box includes an RF tag provided for each of the stored objects and equipped with a temperature sensor and a control part which communicates with the RF tag at appropriate time intervals via an antenna part provided inside the storage part and stores ID information of the RF tag and temperature information sensed by the temperature sensor of the RF tag.
MAGNETIC SENSING SYSTEM FOR MULTIPLE DOOR APPLIANCES
A magnetic sensing system includes a sensor and three magnets. The sensor is located within an appliance housing, the appliance having three moving components. The first magnet is disposed in a first orientation adjacent the first moving component, with the position of the first magnet changing in concert with movement of the first moving component. The second magnet is disposed in a second orientation adjacent the second moving component, with the position of the second magnet changing in concert with movement of the second moving component. The third magnet is disposed in a third orientation adjacent the third moving component, with the position of the third magnet changing in concert with movement of the third moving component. The sensor detects displacement of the first moving component, the second moving component, or the third moving component.
Refrigerator and method for managing products in refrigerator
A method for managing products in a refrigerator comprises the steps of: registering user information including a face image, in association with at least one vendor; after a refrigerator door is opened, photographing an external area around the refrigerator and then recognizing a user's face; while the door is closed after the opening of the refrigerator door, photographing the inside of a storage chamber of the refrigerator and processing the captured image to acquire product information of a product taken; storing the acquired product information of the taken product as a product use history, in association with the recognized user's face; and when receiving a user input, displaying a purchase recommendation product list per user with information of an associated vendor on the basis of the product use history. In an embodiment of the present invention, a refrigerator to which an IOT is applied may be provided.
Refrigerator
A refrigerator may include a rack gear assembly provided on a lower surface of a drawer. The rack gear assembly may have a first rack member and a second rack member that are pushed out by being moved forward sequentially so that a pushing-out distance of the drawer is maximized and the drawer is fully closed even when opposite sides thereof are pushed in a storage chamber without being in parallel.
Home appliance and control method thereof
A home appliance and a control method therefor are provided. The home appliance includes a display, a sensor to detect whether a door is opened or closed, and at least one processor configured to control the display to display one or more objects, and based on sensing, by the sensor, at least one of an opening or a closing of the door, provide visual feedback to the one or more objects.
REFRIGERATOR
A refrigerator includes: a main body including a storage area; an inner door including a door storage space, the inner door being rotatably coupled with the main body; an outer door; and a hinge rotatably coupling the outer door with the inner door, the hinge including a hinge bracket that includes a fixing plate coupled with the inner door, and a hinge shaft on which the outer door is rotatable, wherein the inner door further includes a front plate forming a front surface of the inner door, and an upper cap coupled with an upper end of the front plate, wherein the front plate includes a through hole, and wherein the hinge bracket penetrates the through hole such that the fixing plate is coupled with the upper cap.
ILLUMINATED SHELF ASSEMBLIES
A shelf assembly for an enclosure includes a shelf panel and side brackets coupled to the shelf panel along respective lateral portions thereof. Each of the side brackets have a rear coupling portion configured to mount to structure of the enclosure. One or more light sources are mounted and electrically coupled to one of the side brackets and a connection between one or both of the side brackets and the structure of the enclosure is configured to provide power to illuminate the one or more light sources
ILLUMINATED SHELF ASSEMBLIES
A shelf assembly for an enclosure includes a shelf panel having an upper surface, a lower surface, and an edge extending between the upper and lower surfaces. The edge includes front, rear, and side edges. A light housing is coupled to the shelf panel and includes one or more walls defining an interior. The light housing includes front, rear, and side portions disposed adjacent to the front, rear, and side edges of the shelf panel, respectively. A plurality of light sources received within the light housing to project light outwardly therefrom.
REFRIGERATOR APPLIANCE WITH A MEAT AGING COMPARTMENT
A refrigerator appliance includes a cabinet with a fresh food chamber, a freezer chamber, and an aging chamber each defined in the cabinet. The refrigerator appliance also includes an aging chamber door mounted to the cabinet and movable between a closed position and an open position. A method of operating the refrigerator appliance includes receiving a meat aging input from a user interface of the refrigerator appliance and moving a lock configured to retain the aging chamber door in the closed position to a locked position whereby the aging chamber door is retained in the closed position in response to the meat aging input. The method also includes activating a dedicated humidity control system in fluid communication with the aging chamber and fluidly isolated from the fresh food chamber and the freezer chamber for an aging time after moving the lock to the locked position.
