METHOD, ARRANGEMENT, LID AND ADAPTER FOR DRYING A WATER DAMAGED FLOOR
A water damaged floor (10) is dried by forming an opening (18) in a flooring (14) of the floor and creating and forcing an airflow from a surrounding space (28) through the opening (18) into a ventilating space between the flooring (14) and a sub-floor (22). According to the invention, an end portion of the flooring (14) is elevated from the subfloor (22) for creating said ventilating space and for creating an air passage (27) between the ventilating space and the surrounding space (28) at an edge of the flooring (14).
Surface dryers producing uniform exit velocity profiles, and associated systems and methods
Surface dryers having uniform exit velocity profiles, and associated systems and methods are disclosed. Surface dryers in accordance with certain embodiments include a housing, a gas driver positioned in the housing, an inlet aperture formed in the housing and positioned upstream of the gas driver, and a nozzle carried by the housing and positioned downstream of the gas driver. The nozzle can have an indentation forming a convergent portion positioned to accelerate the flow of air and a divergent portion positioned to decelerate the flow of air.

Apparatus for drying rooms
A hand-portable drying apparatus and method for use in a damp or waterlogged room, the apparatus including a housing having a carrying handle, the housing containing first and second airflow ducts arranged generally parallel to each other and having respective air inlet and air outlet ends, the apparatus further including means to force air through the ducts and to selectively heat it in at least one of the ducts, and valve means within the housing to selectively direct air from the first duct to the second duct whereby to move air from within the room received by the first duct back to the room via the second duct or to expel air from the room via the first duct to outside the room and draw in fresh air from outside the room via the second duct.
Separately controllable air circulation drying system
An air circulation system adapted to dry floors that is segregated and separately controllable from the building's HVAC system. The system includes an air duct having an inlet and an outlet, a fan, and a heater. The inlet is adapted to drawn air in from either the surrounding environment or is connectable to the building's existing air circulation ductwork. The system is designed so that the outlet is positionable adjacently to a floor surface when the system is installed in a wall or to the exterior surface of a wall, thereby allowing the fan to blow air directly over the surface of the floor, increasing the efficiency with which the floor is dried. The present system further comprises a wireless transceiver for wirelessly controlling the functionality of the present system and various other activation mechanisms for separately controlling the fan and the heater without requiring direct user input.

Distribution system for an item of equipment for treatment of solid material and item of equipment for treatment of solid material
The present invention relates to a distribution system and an item of equipment for treatment of solid material that comprises same, wherein said distribution system comprises a means for transmitting movement that is configured to generate a rotating movement; a distribution element comprising a surface parallel to the feeding means on which at least one rod is arranged, perpendicularly, configured to come into contact with the solid material to be treated; a rotating means which connects the means for transmitting movement to the distribution element, configured to generate a rocking or circular movement; and a means for supporting the distribution element; wherein a first end of the distribution element comprises a means for joining to the rotating means, situated on an axis eccentric to the axis of rotation of said rotating means, and a second end, opposite to the first end, is accommodated on the supporting means.
Drying storage
A drying storage according to the present invention can be carried or moved by a user or installed as a built-in in the user's residence, and can maintain an object in a dried state after drying the object to be dried, so that the convenience of use can be improved, wherein a desiccant material with an equilibrium moisture content suitable for the temperature and humidity conditions in which the drying storage is used, is applied so that the inside air of the drying storage is inhaled during a dehumidification operation to allow sufficient dehumidification and the outside air of the drying storage is inhaled during a regeneration operation to enable sufficient regeneration of the desiccant material.
