A door handle rate controller is disclosed. The door handle rate controller includes a damper assembly operatively connected to a door handle such that a movement of the door handle is dampened. The damper assembly may be a piston and cylinder type damper having a piston and a piston rod mounted within a body for reciprocal movement in the body along its longitudinal axis. The damper assembly extends longitudinally from a damper head to an end of the piston rod. A handle side mount and a mounting bracket may be provided to secure the damper assembly to a first and second portion of the door handle. The handle side mount has a first housing bracket pivotally coupled to the end of the piston rod, and a second housing bracket arranged to pivotally couple to the first portion of the door handle. The mounting bracket is defined by an first opening arranged to receive the damper head, and a second opening arranged to receive the second portion of the door handle. The mounting bracket is pivotally coupled to the damper head.

A continuous process and a system for drying solid organic substances in an aqueous phase or a mixed (water/organic solvent) phase, which includes feeding a continuous stream of such substances into a continuous drier, to obtain a continuous output stream of dried powder material and steam at a temperature in excess of 100 C. for delivery to an apparatus separating the powder material from the steam. A continuous run of the powder material and a continuous run of steam are discharged from the apparatus for recirculation to the drier, with the steam pressure inside the drier and the separating apparatus kept constant at a value to ensure that substantially no oxygen is present, or that the powder material cannot be ignited. The recirculation is carried out by continuous drawing, downstream of the separating apparatus, an amount of steam corresponding to the amount of steam generated within the drier.

Air system

A grain handling system having an air system is presented that is capable of automatically detecting and clearing a plug in a tube of an air system using a central controller, an air pressure sensor, a dynamic pressure relief valve and a variable frequency drive connected to and controlling a blower motor. When a plug is detected, the central controller stops the flow of grain into the tube and ramps up the output of the blower motor to full capacity. Thereafter, the central controller performs an unplugging routine by opening and closing the dynamic pressure relief valve causing surges of air to impact the plug either breaking up the plug or bumping the plug along the tube until it clears. Once the plug clears, the central controller resumes normal operation.

The method includes obtaining over a communication network, an information associated with the dryer and receiving measurements of a vibration level of one of a process blower, a cassette motor and a regeneration blower associated with the dryer. Further, an anomaly is determined based on at least one of a back pressure and a fault and balance of at least one of the process blower and the regeneration blower is tracked. An alarm for maintenance is raised when one of an anomaly and an off-balance is detected.
