IMPROVED COOLING APPARATUS
20220042334 · 2022-02-10 ·

The invention relates to an improved cooling apparatus for swimming pools including an inlet for water and an outlet for returning the water with a body between the inlet and outlet, with a reservoir for water contained within. A cooling arrangement associated with the body is included, the cooling arrangement able to act upon and cool the water introduced through the inlet. Further a water control apparatus, associated with the cooling arrangement is included, the water control apparatus including a high level valve and a low level valve, whereby the cooled water in the reservoir is returned through the outlet when the water level in the reservoir is above the lower level valve, and water enters the inlet only when the water level in the reservoir is below the high level valve. The invention also relates to variants thereon and methods of use.

CIRCULATING WATER PREPARATION SYSTEM, COOLING SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR OPERATING A COOLING SYSTEM

A circulating water preparation system for cooling plants, a cooling system, in particular a recooling system, and a method for operating such a cooling system. In such a cooling system a surface of a heat exchanger is cooled by wetting with water, the water is collected in a collecting tank and returned by means of a water circuit for the renewed wetting of the surface of the heat exchanger. The method is characterised in that the water is purified by means of a filter, in particular a membrane filter. As a result considerably less biocide is needed to keep the water free of germs, in particular legionella, compared to conventional cooling systems or methods for operating such cooling systems.

Friction welding machine for radiating fins
11370057 · 2022-06-28 · ·

A friction welding machine for radiating fins is disclosed, which mainly uses a moving unit to drive a friction joint unit to approach the plurality of radiating fins, and a friction rod provided in the moving unit rotates at a high speed to penetrate the radiating fins. The radiating fins are then welded together through the heat generated by high-speed rotation friction to achieve the purpose of improving the welding quality of the radiating fins and reducing the cost.

SYSTEM AND METHOD OF EVAPORATIVE COOLING WATER MANAGEMENT
20220178629 · 2022-06-09 ·

A system and method of managing water in an evaporative cooling system includes one or a combination of three components. A first component is to purify incoming water to the target quality. A second component is to purify condenser loop water to the target quality. The choice of the technology may depend on the site specific environmental conditions determining the quality of the recirculated condenser water and may include (but not limited to) filtration allowing for meeting target quality parameters, such as ultrafiltration, microfiltration, etc. A third component is to provide protection for the condenser loop hardware, preventing or reducing rate of corrosion, fouling, and scaling by adding chemicals to water in the system. The choice of the chemistry will depend on the site specific environmental and other system operating conditions
