Submerged cooler arrangements
The present invention relates to improved subsea or submerged cooler designs for subsea applications, and particularly to a unique pipe support arrangement (5, 16, 17, 18) in a submerged cooler (20), an improved submerged cooler frame (1) and an improved submerged cooler (20).
COMPACT HEAT EXCHANGE SYSTEM AND METHOD OF COOLING
A heat exchange system comprises vertical centermost plenum surrounded by the heat exchange coil and housed in a plurality of side panels and a base, the plurality of side panels have air intakes that communicate outside air into the cabinet above the heat exchange coil and sprayers, a stream of spray water and air is drawn downwardly over a heat exchange coil, a portion of the spray water is separated from the air by drawing the air inward to the plenum, the air is then drawn upwardly within the plenum to an exhaust external to the enclosure.
Tube and heat exchanger provided with tube
A tube used in a heat exchanger, wherein a tube body includes a curved end portion, a pair of parallel portions, a pair of inclination portions, and a fixed portion in which a long end part extending from one of the pair of inclination portions is bent to hold therebetween a short end part extending from the other of the pair of inclination portions, and the tube is a pipe member having a flattened shape in cross-section. Poor brazing is reduced by making the inclination angle of at least part of the other inclination portion with respect to the flat plate portion larger than that of the one inclination portion.
Unpowered auxiliary heat dissipation apparatus and device using the same
An exemplary heat dissipation apparatus includes a bracket, a reticular cover fixed to the bracket and a receiving space being defined with the bracket, and a tray received in the receiving space. The tray includes a first surface and a second surface. A number of first through holes is defined on the bracket. A number of second through holes is defined on the tray respectively corresponding to the first through holes, each of the second through holes extends obliquely from the first surface of the tray to the second surface of the tray relative to a vertical line of the first and second surfaces of the tray. A first magnet is installed on the first surface of the tray, a second magnet corresponding to the first magnet is installed on the bracket.
HEAT EXCHANGER WITH IMPROVED PLUGGING RESISTANCE
A heat exchanger assembly includes a first heat exchange fluid conduit and at least one fin. The first heat exchange fluid conduit defines a passageway therethrough and is configured to receive a flow of a first heat exchange fluid. At least one fin is disposed to receive a flow of a second heat exchange fluid. The fin(s) is/are coupled to the heat exchange fluid conduit at an interface that is configured to reduce accumulation of debris entrained in the second heat exchange fluid.
Turbulated immersion heat-exchange apparatus
A submersible heat-exchanging apparatus for installation into storage tanks used for containing industrial oils. The apparatus comprises a cylindrical heat-exchange component with one end sealingly engaging a terminal plug and the other end sealingly engaging and communicating with a coupling manifold having opposed inflow and outflow ports. A flow-directing elongate insert is provided with one end configured to engage the coupling manifold interposed the inflow and outflow ports, and the other end provided with an aperture and configured for abutting the terminal plug. The flow-directing elongate insert slidingly contacts and cooperates with the inner walls of the heat-conductive conduit thereby partitioning the heat-conductive conduit into two opposed fluid transmission channels wherein one channel communicates with the inlet port and the other channel communicates with the outlet port. The coupling manifold sealingly engages an aperture provided in the storage tank whereby the heat-exchange component extends into the tank.
Advanced air terminal
An air conditioning system includes a climatic beam located in a room. The climatic beam includes a first portion and a second portion, and a divider located along a length of the climatic beam to separate the first portion from the second portion. The climatic beam further includes a coil supplied with a flow of fluid. A fresh air duct is connected to the first portion to provide a flow of fresh air into the first portion, and a fan is located at the second portion and is configured to draw a flow of primary air across the coil and into the second portion. A beam exit allows a flow of the fresh air and the primary air into the room.

Subsea cooling apparatus, and a separately retrievable submersible pump module for a submerged heat exchanger
The present invention concerns a cooling apparatus for subsea applications with a shell and tube heat exchanger. The heat exchanger includes a longitudinal shell. The shell forms a cavity with a fluid inlet port and fluid outlet port. A bundle of tubes extends from an inlet plenum chamber with an inlet port and into the shell on the same side of the shell as a bundle of tubes extending from an outlet plenum chamber with an outlet port. At least one tube sheet seals against the shell cavity and the inlet and outlet plenum chambers. The bundle of tubes extending from the inlet plenum chamber is in fluid connection with the bundle of tubes extending from the outlet plenum chamber. A retrievable pump module with a sealed pump module housing is placed adjacent the heat exchanger and includes a motor driving an ambient sea water pump.
Vertical bundle air cooled heat exchanger, method of manufacturing the same, and power generation plant implementing the same
A vertical bundle air-cooled heat exchanger, In one embodiment, the invention can be a vertical bundle air-cooled condenser comprising: at least one tube bundle assembly comprising; a tube bundle comprising a plurality of finned tubes arranged in a substantially vertical and side-by-side orientation, each of the plurality of finned tubes comprising a cavity; a top header pipe comprising an inlet header cavity operably coupled to a source of steam; a bottom header pipe comprising an outlet header cavity for collecting condensate; top ends of the plurality of finned tubes coupled to the top header pipe and the bottom ends of the plurality of finned tubes coupled to the bottom header pipe; and, a shell having an open, top end and open bottom end, the at least one tube bundle assembly positioned within the shell.
