HEAT EXCHANGER
A heat exchanger, at least comprising a plurality of rows of media guiding ducts (12) for passing a media flow and a plurality of rows of fluid ducts for passing fluid to be temperature-controlled, and having strip-shaped flow profile parts (20), wherein at a transition between the respective guide part of the flow profile parts (20) and their plug-in part two mutually opposite steps are formed, which allow the flow profile part (20) to sit on the adjacent end faces of a fluid duct without spacing, wherein the flow profile part (20) does not project at any point into a free opening cross section, which is defined by the imaginary extension of the inner, mutually facing boundary walls of a media duct (12) and by a media inlet of this duct (12).
A PROTECTION DEVICE FOR A HEAT EXCHANGER
A protection device 1 for a heat exchanger, comprising a grid 10 with an upstream surface 11 and a downstream surface 12, both located on opposite sides of the grid 10, the grid 10 being attachable to the heat exchanger 40 with attachment means 11 so that the downstream surface 12 can face a side of the heat exchanger 40, wherein the protection device 1 further comprises a shock absorber 20 attached to the grid 10 so that the shock absorber 20 least partly protrudes from the downstream surface 12 of the grid 10.
Heat exchanger closure bar with shield
A heat exchanger for managing thermal energy between a flow of a first fluid and a flow of a second fluid includes first and second parting sheets and a closure bar extending between the first and second parting sheets. The closure bar includes an elongate body, a shield positioned upstream from the body relative to a direction of the flow of the first fluid, and a support connecting the shield to the closure bar.
Fixing device for double sided heat sink and associated heat dissipating system
Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a fixing device for a double-sided heat sink and an associated heat dissipating system. There is exemplarily provided a fixing device for mounting the double-sided heat sink on a carrier. The fixing device comprises: a first holder including a first cylindrically-shaped rod, wherein the first cylindrically-shaped rod can pass through a first cooling portion of the double-sided heat sink and a mounting hole of the carrier to fix the first cooling portion to a first side of the carrier, and the first cylindrically-shaped rod comprises a through-hole extending along a longitudinal direction; and a second holder including a second cylindrically-shaped rod, wherein the second cylindrically-shaped rod can pass through a mounting hole of a second cooling portion of the double-sided heat sink and the through-hole of the first holder, such that the second holder is coupled with the first holder to fix the second cooling portion to a second side of the carrier opposite to the first side.
Corrosion resistant air preheater with lined tubes
A dew point corrosion resistant heat exchanging system having a plurality of hollow heat transferring tubes through which cooler ambient air or hot combustion product gases flow. The other of the air or gas flows across the outer surfaces of the tubes, and heat is transferred from the hot gases to the ambient air, thus heating the air. A portion of the tubes includes an inner liner forming an air pocket chamber between the liner and the outer wall of the tube. The air pocket chamber provides heat transfer advantages that maintain the tubes at a temperature above the dew point of the gases in the system, thus inhibiting corrosion of the tubes.
Protection structure for vapor chamber
A protection element for vapor chamber includes a main body and a protection element. The main body is divided into a working zone and a sealing zone. The sealing zone is located around an outer periphery of the working zone and is provided with a notch area, to which a fluid-adding and air-evacuating pipe is connected. The protection element is correspondingly mounted to the notch area to contact with the sealing zone of the main body. With the arrangement of the protection element, the fluid-adding and air-evacuating pipe is protected against collision and impact and accordingly, the main body of the vapor chamber is protected against vacuum and working fluid leakage.
A PROTECTION SYSTEM FOR A HEAT EXCHANGER
A protection system for a heat exchanger is disclosed in accordance with an embodiment of the present invention. The protection system includes at least one net with a first pair of opposite sides and a second pair of opposite sides. The at least one net is deployed over at least one heat exchanger core to cover at least a portion of the at least one heat exchanger core, wherein the at least one net is mounted to either one of a pair of side plates of the at least one heat exchanger core and a pair of headers of the heat exchanger by means of a plurality of engagement elements to deploy the at least one net over the at least one heat exchanger core.
Corrosion resistant air preheater with lined tubes
A dew point corrosion resistant heat exchanging system having a plurality of hollow heat transferring tubes through which cooler ambient air or hot combustion product gasses flow. The other of the air or gas flows across the outer surfaces of the tubes, and heat is transferred from the hot gasses to the ambient air, thus heating the air. A portion of the tubes includes an inner liner forming an air pocket chamber between the liner and the outer wall of the tube. The air pocket chamber provides heat transfer advantages that maintain the tubes at a temperature above the dew point of the gasses in the system, thus inhibiting corrosion of the tubes.
Radiator tube insert
A tube stiffener for insertion into a plurality of radiator tubes includes a plurality of inserts and first and second connection strips. Each insert is configured to extend into at least one of the plurality of radiator tubes to strengthen the plurality of radiator tubes. The plurality of inserts include a first end and a second end and a tab projecting from each of the first end and the second end. The first connection strip is fixed to the tab on the first end and the second connection strip is fixed to the tab on the second end. Each of the connection strips connects the plurality of inserts to each other.
Protection device for a shell-and-tube equipment
Shell-and-tube equipment includes a shell that surrounds a plurality of tubes. At least one end of each tube is joined to an inlet tube-sheet provided with respective tube-sheet bores. The inlet tube-sheet is provided with a first side and with a second side. The inlet tube-sheet is connected to each tube of the tube bundle, on its second side, in such a way that each tube does not extend inside the respective tube-sheet bore. The inlet tube-sheet is provided, on at least part of its tube-sheet bores, with respective tubular protection devices. Each tubular protection device is made in the form of a butt, or a piece of tube, that extends from the first side of the inlet tube-sheet at a respective tube-sheet bore.
